Flies inside the restaurant, and the waiting times are ridiculous for a simple order. 80% of the menu has also been removed, might as well close the place and open when you are able to offer customers the full menu.

Not sure how this place is still open for business. They have removed 80% of the menu, waiting times are way to long for such a simple order, and this place needs to to be in better sanitary conditions. Flies were coming into the restaurant and I can tell that the kitchen isn't being cleaned as often as they should be. Definitely in need of improvement.

Tried this place thinking was a nice hole in the wall but was charged $16.99 for a short rib teriyaki plate and was given basic thin sliced rib eye the exact same beef my friend from work had on his beef teriyaki but in a smaller portion with less sauce and only difference was a small sprinkle of sesame seeds. Needless to say i feel robbed and will not be returning this place is a rib off.

This is a great place. Though it is not the place it once was. Try the rainier burger and the spicy chicken.

Well well well so pleasantly surprised!! We had to drop off a seat to be repaired at an auto upholstery place on McKinley and this was down the hill on r way back into town. We had eaten here years ago when it was different. So we were ready and hungry for breakfast. I had decided to have oatmeal with toast and two eggs. Figured that would be enuf. Man they really did the oatmeal great too!! I've never had it like that before. I think they cooked it with milk and put raisins in it for plumping. It was a bit runny but it thickened up nicely!! Yummy! But boy they had lots of options I just couldn't decide. Bf wanted salad but then.... as he scoured the menu saw BULGOGI!!! Omg he asked for spicey and it was so delish!! It came on a bed of rice and a salad on the side of the plate. We chatted with the owner for a bit. Nice guy! We will defiantly be back when we pick up our seat!! Looking forward to it! Well we r back again for lunch this time. Picked up our seat for his pick up. After talking to him the other day he recommended garlic chicken.. so that's what I'm having!! Sounds good huh. And he is ya ing the spicy Bulgogi natch. He loves it !! Lots of folks that work here at the port come in and get their orders to go. So it can get busy at lunch time. Everything was awesome. My Garlic chicken was garlicky and sweet at the same time. The salad was fresh and love the dressing on there. He loves his Bulgogi as well. So glad we re- discovered this place. Right over the 11th st bridge from Pacific!

The staff is the best there is. The good is really good. The only downside is that it needs a thorough cleaning.

Sam's has below average food for average prices. That being said, they're very nice there and the portions are big. I usually end up with 2 meals worth of food if I order the fried rice

Very nice small diner offering breakfast (open until 10:30am), teriyaki, sandwiches, and burgers. Sam's is family owned, with very prompt and friendly service. They offer both dine-in and take-out.
