But they were very kind & patient with me, even after I was unable to log in to my Starbucks rewards account, and my debit card declined (twice!) They didn't rush me or get upset with me and they made my visit wonderful :)

Came here after the tacoma mall one shut down.there was one person in front of me ordering, placed my order and it still took about 15 minutes for a pink drink. Only one person making drinks and one person ordering, while nobody was ordering the worker was just sweeping?Floor was disgusting and drink was not made correctly… Find a different starbucks to order

I don’t enjoy these kind of reviews, but I just want people to be careful and pay close attention to their drinks (if they go here). I was really disappointed when Starbucks closed its location inside of the Tacoma Mall. So I had to drive to this one. It looked fine and staff was nice (from the short amount I spent there). I was extremely grossed out though, when I looked at my drink (towards the bottom) and noticed I almost slurped up a black curly hair from my iced coffee! I even took pictures but there’s nowhere to post on here! Tbh, I’d like a refund and probably never going back to this location.

I unfortunately did not catch the name of the amazing barista that took my order this morning, but working in the coffee industry I know how stressful it can be during a rush and even in the midst of it, she managed to greet every single customer with a welcome and smile while always taking time to be present while at the register. So so kind and genuine! Also, the speed and quality was very impressive and after a very stressful and anxious morning, i just felt the Lord using these two employees to bless my day! This Starbucks is one of the friendliest stores I've been to...They brought out samples and engaged with every customer that came in. Malika was also above and beyond with customer service, definitely worth being a walk in vs a drive thru store :)

This Starbucks is beautiful! The baristas are soo nice and unlike with other Starbucks the food tastes good. And don't even get me started on the drinks. Whatever modification I want, they always do it with a smile on thier face! 10/10

I'm happy to have a Starbucks here, but the wait times for the drive thru are absolutely astronomical. I easily wait 15 minutes. I think the problems here are three-fold: one, this neighborhood is a coffee desert - there's no other place to get decent coffee; two, they don't have a store big enough/nice enough to want to come and sit down, so everyone uses the drive thru instead; and three, they don't have enough staff/machines to make the volume of orders they get fast enough. These problems could easily be solved if anyone cared enough about the Lincoln District to invest in making it a destination neighborhood.

I had to lower my overall rating from 4 to 2 stars but it is not because of the staff or any problems with Starbucks. Because this location is so close to the Tacoma Police HQ, it is crawling with cops every morning as if it were an auxiliary precinct.. There is sometimes over a half dozen officers in there doing work on their computers, watching customers come and go, and making it very difficult to find a place to sit. Some people enjoy being surrounded by police officers but if you've had bad experiences with Tacoma PD or you just don't like being around a lot of cops, this isn't the place to get your coffee.

amazing staff! there was a crazy guy there at the same time as me complaining about a bathroom code and yelling at the poor girl up front (as if *she’s* the one who made the rule SMDH); but other than that, great staff, great atmosphere!

The woman at the register is too surly for 7:00 a.m. on a Sunday morning. She could not even return a "good morning" greeting when I entered the store. The barista was pleasant.
