Stopped by for the first time today. First experience was excellent. She was prompt, kind and welcoming. The food is excellent. Definitely a good quick breakfast stop in hilltop

I was pleased to discover this cafe. Great homemade-style sandwich (made exactly as asked), delicious green matcha latte at great prices. Plus the quick, friendly service really made my day. Great local place to support, so I will be back!

I went to order 2 sandwiches around 9:30-10 am. I live in the building above the cafe. When I went to order, the owner told me it would be about 10mins (for a sandwich w/no other customers) so I went back in, ran to Safeway and put on different shoes.. so about 20mins later .. nothing still. I sat outside for a good 5 more mins then when I went to pay my phone bill thru my debit card and THATS when she acknowledged me, the entire money transaction she was rude. She's I've tried to buy food about 6months prior .. same thing. It sucks because I literally live right next to it and will go out my to eat other places or just make food. She's the heavy set black lady (I use lady loosely) with the short hair and stank face.

Since the new owners transformed this once failing coffee stand into what it is today… everything's changed for the better! I enjoy a sweet blended drink which i prefer the owner to make me above any other coffee shops in our area! I was even so lucky that they decided to incorporate my love for Turkey Bacon Sandwiches right into their menu!!! Even if their is a line i will wait because the customer service \u0026 quality of products is unbeatable!! Next time your in the area you must try them for yourself!!

I've only been once but my honest opinion is that between Starbucks and Hilltop Coffee Bar, Hilltop will win everytime. Their white chocolate mocha is very smooth, their prices are excellent and, bonus points, they're locally owned and operated. The only thing that might throw people off is that they're only operating a pick up window and they only have street parking (not important to me). I'm definitely going back.

Best sandwiches in Tacoma! By far the best roast beef and au jus! Ordered a few times on DoorDash and the food exceeds all my expectations every time. Starting to eat here at least once a week and work my way through the menu. Sandwiches are good portions and cheap for what you get. Would recommend this place to everyone.

Just started working in the area and showed up early so I stopped by for some coffee and breakfast. Despite having several door dash orders she got me my food and coffee quickly. The coffee was amazing and the breakfast panini was really good as well. I plan on coming back.
