This place is a trip. A time and location warp. This place would look the same in a southern TX town in the 1960s. They prioritize great BBQ and service, nothing else. I spoke with the owner and his mom for awhile, they preside over the oldest BBQ joint in the state. We ordered half the menu, all of it was awesome. I will be back.

my experience with Texas BBQ is very central texas/ hill country, so to me, this is a different take on Texas BBQ. Very Saucy. Some days you can find these folks out at the smoker turning meat and mopping it with sauce. This is a family run little dive. Folks were happy to help me navigate the menu and make a choice. Amazing food! I moved here from houston and I've been having a hankering for BBQ. I got the beef dinner with collards an potato salad. I also got peach cobbler all were so good. The icing on the cake was meeting and visiting with Miss Kay Little what a treat. I'll definitely go back again.
