Do not go to this location. The quality of drinks is very low compared to the Bellevue location. This must be a franchise and whoever owns the Southcenter location is putting in zero effort into this store. I ordered the Purple Rice Yogurt drink, and the yogurt tasted sour and the purple rice was undercooked and hard. My drink was inedible. I’ve had this drink before and this location can’t even make the signature drink correctly.Yomie’s Rice Yogurt corporation should shut down this franchise location.

First time trying their purple rice yogurt drink and it was good! Definitely tastes exactly like it sounds.... Purple rice and tangy yogurt in a drink! Next time I will definitely try other flavors. The rice seemed weird at first but became addicting... almost like a sticky purple rice dessert you get at a thai restaurant. The only worker which was a nice man was so busy and I felt so bad for him! He had so many orders and was making everything by himself :(

Our drink was taken by someone else as soon as the employee put it down and when my child told the employee it was snatched by someone else she told my daughter it's her loss. My daughter came back in tears cuz the employee was so rude to her. So my husband asked her to remake it or give us a refund. She very angrily remade it, slamming her equipment and shoving the drink in our faces like we had done something wrong. We had given this little troll a 20% tip for our already overpriced drink. Don't feel any guilt if you want to save your money by not tipping at this location. She's a nasty piece piece of work.

This Yomie's is a stall by the food court of the Westfield Southcenter Mall so does not have the nice ambience the Bellevue location with seating offers. The staff positioned here were also not that inviting. Orders are placed at the kiosk and came out rather quickly.The Red Bean Purple Rice Yogurt ($6.85) with less sugar was packed with purple rice and the red bean was less noticeable. The rice was cooked to a decent texture although difficult to sip through the straw due to it slightly clumping together. The yogurt was not as thick or tangy as the one I had in Bellevue. Still a good snack to have while walking around the mall though.

I've tried Yomie's before when I lived in Oakland, so I was excited to see an outlet here at the Southcenter. They don't just offer bubble and milk tea drinks, but, as their name attests, they specialize in yogurt drinks that have rice and/or fruity ingredients in them. The red bean purple rice yogurt drink, for example, was a nourishing, soothing concoction, not just for the drinkable texture and semi-sweet quality of the yogurt, but also for the nutritious bits of red bean and purple rice.Some of these bits were drinkable thanks to a large straw, but you'll need to chew them, not drink them, for the most part. Since they didn't have any spoons or forks to offer when I stopped by, you're left to improvise when it comes to scooping up these bits in an edible manner. I was able to do so by ripping off the sealed plastic cover from the cup and using the straw, chopstick-style, to nudge all the bits into my mouth.So while the drinks are worth 5 stars, I'm docking one star for their not making forks or spoons available to help you finish the drinks off in a clean, non-sloppy manner.Pro tip: you don't need to shove your food and drink into your Yelp photos with your bare, moist, wrinkly hands and dirty fingernails. You also don't need to call attention away from the food and drink with pointless "action" shots. Today I come to here, the staffs say they are closed 10 mins and request me come back later. But after 2 mins, I shop to MINI SO, they reopen again for everyone. What is the problem? It is only me can enjoy this special service, so I ask why , and then the lady throw the 10 min’s paper to trash. What is the service about this shop, it is the worst in Seattle, I often shop at Bellevue and Chinatown store, anyway I wouldn’t come here again.

All signature items were out of stock, receipt printer wasn't working, staff seemed a little stressed.Got a red bean rice yogurt instead and boy oh boy is it watery. I taste only the red bean since the rice is so blended it's practically baby food. What's interesting is that the ice pieces weren't blending so I got a nice crunch out of it.Definitely won't return to this location.

Haw Purple Rice Yogurt 50% Sugar 4.5/5: I really like the concept of chewy rice in my yogurt drinks but it's not for everyone. The haw makes the yogurt taste more tangy which I really enjoy since it tastes like Vietnamese yogurt. The purple rice is a fun texture contrast to the smooth yogurt when you drink. Some rice was clumped and stuck on the bottom so It was hard to sip up the straw. 50% sweetness is not too sweet so def would opt for that if you don't have a huge sweet tooth. I got a large which is a $2 surcharge to the drink which was $6.50 and in total after tax it's around $9.50 for a drink. It's not the most affordable but I think it's worth it once in a while since when are you gotta have the time and ingredients to make it yourself. Buy at a Kiosk if pay card but employee can do the transaction if you're paying cash
