“We had a great experience! We ordered the Rainbow, Kamakazi, and Spicy Salmon Roll. While we did not feel any were spicy, the flavor was incredible, tasted fresh, and had good texture. We thoroughly enjoyed all 3. The Wasabi was magnificent; Strong and flavorful! We would rate their Wasabi as one the the better ones! (4/5 Spicy) Our waitress was very nice, greeted us and served waters immediately. She was very accommodating for checking the ingredients of the fried batter and mayo for dairy. We greatly appreciated that! It was a short wait after our order was put in that we were served our rolls. They offer 4 draft beer options which makes it a plus in the hubby's book! He got a Mac & Jacks and I got a Sake. The sake came with cold glasses, which we prefer to the warm, and it tasted great. Cold and it was not too sweet. The wood benches were not the most comfy, but I like how the tables lines up in a fashion side by side instead of in front of eachother. It gave the illusion of the some privacy. Even the row on front of was a little off center to avoid direct eye sight.“

I first stopped here for dinner when I was on a business trip in the area during January 2023, and returned in March 2023. On my first visit I ordered a Japanese/Chinese combination, chicken teriyaki with General Tso’s Chicken. I was impressed enough to come back a couple months later, when I went for chicken chow mein plus a side salad with very tasty dressing. In both cases, the food was well-prepared and flavorful. The dining room and service counter were clean and tidy. The service was friendly and efficient, the prices (while not cheap) were fair for these inflationary times, and the food portions were generous. I enjoyed both my meals at Rainbow Wok and Teriyaki, and would not hesitate to return should my business bring me back to Mukilteo.“

The salad is packaged seperate (no soggy, warm salad!). The teriyaki sauce and salad dressing are so delicious! Our family is kind of "sauce-freaks:, so a sauce can be a deal breaker for us continuing to eat somewhere.They have tofu, seafood and meat options.The restaurant is small and outdated, but trust me - the food and owners are worth visiting more than once. “Come hungry! I didn't expect much but I was pleasantly surprised. When I came inside I noticed good music playing and was greeted by a well mannered fellow. I chose a katsu/chicken lunch combo that I paid $18 for. It came with a drink so I checked the fountain out. There were the usual suspects and also the stubborn brand agave vanilla cream soda, pineapple cream soda, melon, horchata, and Jamaica. On my way to select a table I noticed free soup! It was a mildly spicy egg flower like soup that I enjoyed quite a bit. I sat down and watched a steady parade of regulars come and go many of whom the gentleman behind the counter seemed to know. He even knew some of their orders. A waitress brought my food which came with rice, salad, chicken, katsu, and the katsu sauce. The rice was sticky, the katsu was crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside, the chicken had a light teriyaki, and the salad was cold with an interesting creamy red dressing. Hot sauce and teriyaki sauce as well as to go containers were readily available. Also, there were gum and toy vending machines.Overall, a 9 of 10. I think I found my new teriyaki stop for the family!??“
