“We had SO much fun taking one of the Cookie decorating classes! The instructor was amazing, funny, upbeat, and informative. I definitely have a hole new appreciation for professional cookie decorators! Highly recommend, and would go again ?“
“It was our first time here and greeted friendly when walked in. Fast service with chips and salsa as well as our food. Ordered chicken fajitas, wet burrito, and kids nachos. Large portions so had enough to take home! Very pleased and plan on coming back. :)“
“I come here to get cinnamon rolls for my wife the prices are a bit steep but they do have a lot of locations that are close. Like I have one down at the pilot on the corner here my kids love it when I bring them home too. I'll come here when the wife gets mad at me thanks cinnabon.“
“Had an incident at the Tumwater store where the police were involved due to a possible hate crime situation involving my kids. The staff were kind, compassionate, and supportive beyond any expatiation I had. They checked on my kids thru the process. This store rocks. The staff are worth their weight in gold. Kudos to Safeway for being a model store other businesses can follow.“
“Their pastries are so delicious. I've loved every one that I've tried, including the maple scone, tofu and caramelized onion tart, and sausage and cheese biscuit. This cafe is such a wonderful option in a town where vegan breakfast is so hard to find!“
“They have a great variety of both savory and sweet scones. These scones are nothing like you have had at Starbucks or another coffee shop. They are MASSIVE and FLUFFY and have a great texture- they’re the kind of thing you could feed your friends and they would never know they are actually gluten free.I also got a ganache cookie (AMAZING) and a latte. This is a dedicated gluten free facility only 1 mile from I-5. They have a free parking lot - so no need to hunt for parking. This is definitely a must- visit if you are local or if you are traveling on I-5 and need a celiac-safe, gluten feee snack or breakfast.Dietary restrictions: This is a celiac-safe, dedicated gluten free restaurant. No cross contamination worries here!“
“All the pastries are delish, and my Cafe au lait, was wonderful, service was friendly and pretty fast. What is a shame though, is the decor, or lack of, there's no charm. It's the run of the mill, white, bland, cold room. They missed the mark, to make this a real looking French cafe, warm and charming, too bad.“
“Imagine you live in the sunless, waterlogged hellscape that is Olympia, Washington. On one particularly wet and sunless day you find yourself in a cozy French bistro. There's only a single soup option, the daily special. You order it like a hero, or run away like a coward. A bowl plus fresh bread is only $6.75 anyways. You rejoice at the earnest and humble nature of this meal, and it transports you to a provincial life of simple choices and honest food. A chef brings it out, and you exchange small talk for a moment. The rain outside your window has now become like an old friend.Anyways, soup and bread yum!!“
“I've had the pleasure of helpful staff and a rotating stock of bargains to be had. Have to sometimes inspect the product closely though. But well worth the visit and search. Staff has been extremely helpful in tips, such as freezing bread, and every so often, looking at the best use by dates to ensure I can work things in to the meal planning. I like the old fashioned doughnuts, and the maple ones at that; blueberry being another. I look out for their sourdough bread, the garlic one is great, and the round sourdough for sandwiches. Chips can be found here, and I do like the tortilla chips. Worth the extra stop when shopping to find a bargain that day.“
“This is perhaps the best cookie Ive had in my life. It was a pink frosted full butter sugar cookie. I later had a lemon full butter sugar cookie, only difference was the icing was lemon flavor. This seems more of a take out place and bulk orders. Pretty simple inside. Frosted cookies are $3.50 each and well worth it. Just WOW!“
