“This is the first margarita Ive had since returning from Mexico and I can say it was not a good experience. Mexico has ruined margaritas for me for life, luckily Im going back to Mexico next month. But, I did have a good meal that was a pulled pork on mac & cheese. It was actually a bit spicy, wasnt expecting that, but all in all it was good. The restaurant is un a weird place, surrounded by apartments and houses atop a hill, hence the name. Seemed like only a couple staff, but it was good service. Lots of beer available, only saw one cider listed.“

“I had a "free crazy bread" offer from T-Mo and, since we were passing through around lunch time, figured "why not?" Little Caesars was a family tradition when I was a kid, so it's nostalgia central for me. I ordered a pepperoni pizza with pretzel crust and - of course - the crazy bread using the app.An employee was working in the back when I walked in, but immediately greeted me and came forward within a few seconds. He said they were working on my order and it'd be a few minutes. No sweat! I love my pizza hot and fresh and the potential risk at LC's is getting a pizza that's been in a warmer for a bit too long. After about five minutes, I had a scalding hot box of pizza in my hands. There's no seating available, so I brought it back and we chowed down in the car. Pizza was too hot to eat right away (awesome!) so we started with that crazy bread. Also fresh. So good. More please. The kids devoured it and I was about to be forced to go buy more when the pizza finally cooled down to acceptable levels. The pretzel crust wasn't a hit with everyone but I personally loved it and was more than happy to finish the crust of my picky eater. A couple of other reviews mention undercooked pizza, but that wasn't a factor for us.“

“I visited this location 6 years ago and wasn't too impressed. This time, I was surprised. I had the Honey Walnut Prawns and an order of Chicken Egg Rolls (sorry I forgot to snap a pic). The prawns were really good. I enjoyed every thing on that plate. I addition to the prawns there was a bed of green and purple cabbage and a creamy coconut sauce. So good! The egg rolls were ok but not what I was used to. My colleagues all enjoyed their food. They ordered apple curry, Singapore Noodles, Pad Thai, and combination fried rice. The portions were definitely for sharing, family style. It was busy and Staff were attentive.“

“I moved to Olympia in 2022 and began looking for good restaurants. After going to 4 Japanese I hit on Kamakura and have been returning there at least 1X/week. Great rolls, rice is perfectly executed, the Drunken Noodles with shrimp are AMAZING(every time). The staff is so kind and accommodating (makes me feel relaxed) The only thing I feel want for is more seaweed in the miso soup. This restaurant reflects everything with a touch of Japanese family tradition. The prices are fairly set and reflect the quality of food. So this is “my go to” Japanese place in Olympia“

“We ordered the Green Goods and Tropical smoothies. Literally the best I’ve ever had, with Green Goods being the favorite. We were first time customers a few days ago and I’m still thinking about that smoothie. My kid says Stellar Juices is my new Starbucks and she’s right! It just feels good putting healthy fuel in the tank and it the kicker is - it’s DELICIOUS!“

After ordering the wait for food was long but we were in no hurry. It would have been nice to have something to nibble on. We hadn’t expected the wait so we didn’t order bread or salad, everything is extra. The place could use something acoustic to cut the noise a notch, simply voices overwhelm the place. Music from the venue next door wasn’t a distraction, it was fine. Parking can be difficult. All in all, we will be back for the A+ parts make it way worth the visit.“

Our waitress, Sally, had the patience beyond believing and we enjoyed her service. “We used Nineveh as a caterer for a big birthday party. They catered for 100 people and the food was exceptional. We did the Shawarma Bar and it was affordable and delicious and provided more than enough food for what we needed. Everyone raved about it and wanted to know where we got the good. “We always love MiSo. Their staff are on point and so friendly. The owners are phenomenal and do the most. I work for the state and we frequently cater through MiSo. I have never been disappointed and neither have my colleagues. They come in, set up, and the food is delicious. My husband and I have started doing pick-up orders on the way home because it's that good. If you want something that is fit, fast, and fresh, then MiSo is your place. The veggies are always quality and the chicken is seasoned perfectly. The corn slaw is to die for. The sauces are even better. I cannot say enough good things about this business. Also, add the $2 for the miso soup. My favorite around. I live in Lewis County and will drive all the way to Lacey/Oly to get the soup from these guys. For instance Hat Yai's roti/naan and curry dish is one of the most delicious street style Thai dishes I've ever had - with crunchy hot home made roti, where Nou's naan I think is just store bought Indian style naan bread... Their curry is straight forward, not full of depth. Phad Thai is solid, can't go wrong. Green curry is clean, fresh, but lacking in more developed flavors. All that being said their atmosphere is beautiful and nice to eat in, service is always wonderful, and take out is always easy. So when we need a Thai food itch scratched, Nou delivers - and is our default Thai in Olympia.“
