“We were on I-5, hungry and wanted to try someplace new, we lucked out. Sat outside next to the big pond and had a fantastic lunch. Sort of shocked this place is not packed. (Are the golfers trying to keep this their secret). I had the French dip which was the best we have had in years including fantastic steak fries! “I've been visiting since it opened. However, I must confess it's been a while for my since in dine in experience. Purchased falafel this time time around. Authentic flavors never disappoint. Customer service is not bad but not great either. Maybe if I was in on a weekly basis, I might receive a warmer welcome. The seating area has not received any significant refresh since opening, but you can always rely on a soccer game being on.Update- Ordered Lamb Shawarma as seen in picture below. “This is an old Mexican restaurant in which I first visited back in the late 70's. Decades later, I still visit the Parkland and Puyallup locations periodically. The house made red salsa is truly my love. The chips are also very good. Although I have had some difficulties with the last few managers in the Puyallup location, it does not take away from the authentic taste of the food being served at all locations. The Lakewood location is cozy and classic ole' school. I love the atmosphere still decades later. The service was great and the prices are still competitive in today's post covid times. El Toro is a great place to fill your tummy and enjoy great spirits!“

They say that they're vegetarian friendly restaurant but they refuse to put rice in a separate plate so it doesn't touch the meat. “Just to give you an update on my Gravity Coffee experience I wanted to use my gift card up a few weeks later and went to the 72nd St. location in Tacoma and the barista asked me how my day was and I said fine. I just want to use up my gift card because I'm probably never gonna come back here because of my past experience and she asked what happened so I explained to the barista.... she talked to her assistant manager that was there with her at the time they apologize to me for having bad customer service from the company and actually gave me two free drinks to make up for it! Now That's Customer Service and that made my day! They actually saved me as a customer!“

“Love Gravity to bits (always get the Hyper Space) but this is now the third occasion that I did not get oat milk in my drink at the Lakewood location. I’ve never had this issue at any other location. Due to not being able to use straws, I cannot taste test to make sure (which I shouldn’t have to do anyway). We get charged each time for the milk alternative, but it’s not always used. Please be more mindful when people make such requests. I’m extremely lactose intolerant and it gives me much pain with whole milk. Also, you should really be asking people if they have rewards or not, especially when they are spending $20+ in a single trip so they can actually get their rewards for buying so often. We are at this location multiple times during the weekend and the Olympia/Lacey location during the week. If we say we have a rewards because you didn’t ask, eyes have been rolled and reluctantly put in my number.“
