Hey If you have not had these tamales, well ya just gotta come see. Excellent, moist, soft, pork melt in your mouth,...its the reason I retired here! Nora is welcoming, its like dinning at your moms table!! Come see. You are on my favorite list!!
We order 6 pork, 6 chicken, and 1 Jalapeño cheese. Some of the pork and chicken had much more salt than others, which we found strange. The masa on all of the tamales were soggy on one side, which was very disappointing. The overall flavor wasn't bad but we just couldn't get past the soggy maza. The Jalapeño cheese tamale had chopped Jalapeños and maybe grated cheese throughout the maza, which wasn't expected. This is an amazing little whole in the wall restaurant. Awesome service, very fast. Friendly and helpful staff. The food was delicious, I had the pork tamales. The rice and beans were fabulous as well. Tight and snuggle little dining room, it was perfect.
