“Had nice Nachos plus a salad last Sunday. Yummy. Ate while we enjoyed a good Open Mic with several local musicians creating some nice afternoon music. Thanks for the fun afternoon. BroganfromSeattle.”
“Great place to dine. Beautiful views, friendly and accommodating staff, excellent food. The fish and chips here is better that at the resort! Seriously! Our party of 8 received excellent service and we will be back again!”
“I had the incredible opportunity to DJ at Robin Hood Village Resort, and I must say, it was an outstanding experience! This venue deserves a solid 5-star rating for many reasons. First and foremost, the staff at Robin Hood Village Resort went above and beyond to make my DJ gig a success. From the initial planning stages to the event day itself, they were incredibly helpful and accommodating. They made sure I had everything I needed to deliver an unforgettable performance. The outdoor venue vibe at Robin Hood Village Resort is truly one-of-a-kind. Surrounded by the natural beauty of the Pacific Northwest, it provided the perfect backdrop for a memorable event. The combination of lush greenery, charming cabins, and the picturesque river nearby created a magical atmosphere that enhanced the music and the overall experience. Whether you're a DJ, musician, or event planner, I highly recommend Robin Hood Village Resort for your next gig or celebration. The staff's dedication and the cool outdoor venue vibe make it a top-notch choice for creating unforgettable moments. This place is a hidden gem, and I can't wait to return for more events in the future!”
“Service was great , food came quickly and looked good, just not the flavor we were expecting. A lil noisy.Kid-friendliness: Very friendly , becomes crowded and noisy quickly”
“10 years later and it is STILL my "Go To" restaurant here in Shelton. The food is always outstanding. The staff are always friendly. The price is always fair. My kids absolutely LOVE going to dinner at Las Palmas. If I lived closer than what I do, I'd probably eat there every day; yes, it's that good. It feels like home. If I could rate it higher, I would.”
“Absolute do not miss!! If you eat in one place in Shelton eat here ! The most delicious and authentic Latin food I’ve had in the US. Beautifully spiced carnitas and asada meats. Everything is made from scratch and GLUTEN FREE gf!!! You can taste the difference it’s so fresh ! 10/10 recommend !”
“A small place with an amazing range of foods. We had their Italian Classic sandwich. Not a very large sandwich, but served on GF bread and just the right taste explosion for lunch. They have a wide selection of GF baked goods as well, made fresh by the owner. Did I mention the jummy coffee drinks? Recommended!Dietary restrictions: Gluten free options. Milk alternatives.”
“Burgers are great. It is a bit expensive(about 22 for the big shack with all the condiments and a shake) considering the location, but the service is quick. I go there every now and then when I need a ”
“I absolutely love the staff and the coffee!!! Completely worth the wait ❤Update-love the lotuses and mocha heath!!! Or if I'm I can ask for a surprise ?Kid-friendliness: My kids love going here and how they make their drink orders”

“Got a gyro today, had the pork and pineapple teriyaki sandwich last week. it is a great change compared to the stale food options in Hoodsport. 2more punches and my card if filled up.”
“This is a great little breakfast and lunch spot. We went because we read the Google reviews saying that this a great little restaurant in Shelton. The dishes a very creative, you will some breakfast dishes here that you have never had nor even considered. I really like their "double butter hollandaise", which is obviously homemade and not from a box. Their omelets are either fried or pan style, which was completely new to me. The meals were all together delicious. The owner was serving us and she is quite nice, told us the "story"... She bought it from Suzan, has been doing good for 14 years. Also, I believe it received a best breakfast award for the county. Dishes are named after songs, lots of music labels decorate the place, and it's a pretty simple diner, seat yourself.”
“I enjoyed having breakfast at Nita's. I liked the eclectic atmosphere , for example the coffee cups are not the standard restaurant issue coffee cups. They are ones you would get if you had breakfast at a friend's house. (Which I enjoyed) ... Mine had flowers and my wife's cup had an ad for a local business. I had biscuits and gravy and my wife had an omelet. Both were good. The service was great and everyone was friendly. If you only like the standard cookie cutter restaurants you may not like it here. If you like a place off the path and a feeling of home you will be welcomed and not go away hungry.”
“This place is awesome! They have a really wide variety of beer flavors and styles so we enjoyed getting a few flights and sampling several of them. Some really unique options like a smokey lager, peach tea saison and an oyster stout. The taproom is cozy with a nice view of the water. Nothing fancy but the beer and the vibe was great, would highly recommend.”
“This is our #1 place to go to in downtown Shelton! We go every week because the staff, atmosphere, drinks and food are all amazing! There is nothing else in Shelton like this; Italian food options, pizza, sandwiches, rotating beer/cider tap and good music. If you are ever in Shelton do yourself a favor and go to Railroad Tap Station! :)”
“Been through the drive thru only and it's always steady paced for early morning weekdays. No long wait and the Starbucks employees have always been friendly and get you on your way. ☕Parking: Big parking lot, Lacey police meet up here alot during the mornings with 5 or more able to park next to each other.”
“We'd seen the prior reviews and decided to make the drive down from SeaTac for breakfast. WORTH IT! We got the fruit waffle and the chicken fried steak. I'm normally a snob when it comes to country gravy, but this gravy is so freaking delicious! The waffle was covered in fresh fruit abs was a delight. We'll definitely be back!!”
“Super cute! Korean-American-owned, so amazing kimchee, meat and rice dishes and...great road-side burgers and fresh seafood! Right in Hoodsport, you can't miss it, wonderful outdoor seating or indoor when it's cold or raining. We stopped and just were greeted by these kind people. Don't pass this little gem up, charming and hot fresh food at great prices! We got a double cheese w/ fries, the hottest and best egg rolls I've had in a minute and bulgogi rice with all the fixings!”
“We called ahead for a busload of high school girls coming from a swim meet at Shelton HS. They set us up in a separate room from the main dining area, much appreciated as the girls can get a little noisy sharing their recent meet. Everything was ready on time, places set, water out...the girls felt honored and important.Ordering was easy from a menu that has something for every taste and need, and no complaints about separate checks. Food arrived in a reasonable time, and all seemed to like what they had ordered. I got the tuna melt, and surprisingly to me, for a small cafe, one of the best I have ever had, and plenty ample for me. I think they used a different cheese than I usually get and very mild seasoning that really helped this otherwise slightly bland option. When I asked the girls later, they all liked their food, felt the portions were good, no one left hungry. Maybe the only drawback they mentioned was no milkshakes, but with ice cream available for dessert, that seemed a small concern, easily forgotten.Anyone who can satisfy about 20 high school girls is doing pretty well and we will look forward to returning again when we are in the area.Since I only 4-starred the atmosphere...actually fine, friendly, non-obtrusive, allowed us to focus on our team and accomplishments. Building is older, decor might be described as older, local western hotel getting ready for renovations...but we were there for food, not architecture.I will mention that parking in this downtown area was a little difficult for our bus, but this is likely to affect very few.Kid-friendliness: ...in review: very accepting of a team of about 20 high school girls, patient with their ordering and individual preferences. The girls felt honored.”
“This place was amazing . I had the spinach and cheese quesadilla with rice and beans and my cousin had the shrimp burrito ( might be a different name ). Super good food great view and the service was awesome . Will definitely be coming back soon.”
“Came by to stop in real quick for a few sandwiches and a pastry (which were amazing), ended up staying for two hours pairing different wines and ports different foods with the owner. So. Much. Fun. We went back every day the rest of our trip. 10/10 would recommend.”
