“This review is for my first experience with this establishment. Me and my wife both did the 3-day cleanse, the only difference was she did the 8 oz and I did the 16 oz cleanse. We both enjoyed the flavors of our juice drinks. The hot shot was a little too potent for my wife so I got to enjoy hers for her. Both of us felt great during the cleanse. Plenty of energy and did not suffer a lot of hunger pains. As a matter of fact neither of us were really hungry during the cleanse. I would recommend this to anybody. We will definitely be back for another cleanse in the near future.“

“The colors of the walls are vibrant and alive, the staff are very upbeat and happy. If you're looking for a healthy place to eat, this is it! I was surprised and impressed by the size of my wrap. The cost of the food was even less than going to Subway AND got more to eat. My daughter had a fun time eating the chips they sold, and she enjoyed the fruit bowl.This is definitely a one-stop shop for a healthy meal whether it's lunch or dinner!Dietary restrictions: Very friendly to people with dietary needs.Kid-friendliness: My daughter threw her tantrum, but the staff were very positive about it. I felt bad, but they made it definitely feel like it wasn't as big of a deal and I always feel bad for everyone else around us when she has her meltdowns.“

“I have absolutely nothing bad to say about bambu. Ever.Me and my family have been going there for years and years and no drink has ever disappointed. From vietnamese coffee, to a strawberry white rabbit, they have drinks even the pickiest of people will enjoy.(While it sounds simple, I suggest trying a smoothies like the passion in love or very berry and adding rainbow jellies or popping boba. You'll thank me later)The store is adorned with studio ghibli, pokemon, animation, and just generally cute themes! They also offer sweet treats like waffles and fresh mochi cupcakes. (Dont worry they have ice cream too)Their staff is so kind, helpful, and hard working. If you don't know what to order, or you are wondering what goes into the drinks ingredient wise dont hesitate to ask! The staff knows the menu inside and out and will be more than willing to talk to you about it.Also with so many places asking for tips now, its hard to know when to tip well and who deserves it. Let me help you out, the staff are mostly younger people high school age to like mid 20s. (This is because the owner tries to give jobs to students who struggle to find somewhere that will hire them as their first job) these kids are putting themselves through college, or trade school, they have dreams of moving to their own apartments and being able to afford them, etc. These are the people who deserve tips without a doubt. So if you can afford it, just click that 15% button and know that its going to people who will genuinely use it!Honestly, I've seen some boba tea shops that had drinks double the price that just weren't nearly as good. The bambu staff is also fairly heavy handed with the toppings (trust me, that extra .50 cents for your fav add-in is so worth it)Also, one of my favorite things is their rewards program. You actually earn rewards and real discounts! This isn't starbucks folks. You don't have to buy 8000 frickin drinks just to earn a free add-in. You can earn free mochi cupcakes and a free large upgrade on your drink!Bambu is also involved in the community here in Tacoma and is available for catered events and holidays like the much anticipated lunar new year celebration and halloween when they encourage all ages to show up all dressed up and snap a pic with their drinksThe space itself is so well kept and clean. The kitchen area is honestly one of the cleanest I've seen and you better believe that staff is wiping down counters, floors, and doing dishes every chance they get!The ingredients are fresh and tested for freshness every morning before opening. I have never felt there was a risk of any old, moldy, or expired ingredients making their ways into my drinks or food.Overall, bambu is the kind of place that makes you feel like a kid again. There is no leaving the store without a smile on your face and I swear your eyes will light up like a cartoon character when you try the drinks*special note: Although bambu is a chain, the owner of this specific Tacoma store is a ridiculously nice, hardworking, dedicated lady who is often behind the counter or working in the back alongside her staff. I see her put in so much effort to create this happy place for people and Tacoma is so much better as a community with her as a part of it. If you see her, be sure to say hi :)Kid-friendliness: There are menu specific items that are there for kids, when it comes to community involvement bambu does costume contests for halloween, toy drives in the winter, and kids art contests in the summer!“

“The cutest little cozy Cafe Lakewood NEEDED. There's 1 (or possibly 2?) private rooms for groups to chill in, but also a really cozy open area with a fireplace-heater to sit and enjoy your coffee. As a lover of good foam, my lattes have been great so far and the gal always comes around and hands it to me directly, which is very sweet. Love this place, would definitely kick back here with company.“

“Good acai bowl! I was worried the one scoop of acai blend I saw on top was the only scoop, but noticed later that they put some of the toppings in between the two layers of acai blend so there's more on the bottom. The presentation was nice-they arranged the fruit around the scoop of acai blend, and it came out pretty quickly. A little expensive for me to eat regularly, but it was delicious. It looks like they share a space with a tattoo parlor and there's a lot of plants and good lighting.“

The bbq spring roll was exactly what I was wanting then I paired it with their fish oil dipping sauce fire! and I got the lemongrass rice beef bowl, only thing I will say is that it could have used more meat but other than that I enjoyed every bite!“

“Passing through Tacoma on the way home to Vancouver. I cannot say enough good things about this spot.Healthy food, relaxing spot and Bus, who served us, could not be nicer. Had protein oats, boiled eggs and the masala chai. My son had toasted bagel and the Homer donut. My son tried my oatmeal and loved it, he almost ate it all.You must visit this spot, you will not be disappointed!!! Thanks to Bus for the wonderful service and for being so friendly. “BobaLust in Tacoma is one of my favorite Boba joints in Washington. My go-to order is the OG Milk Tea Boba. It’s always perfectly made and delicious!BobaLust has 9 Washington locations. I have visited both of the Tacoma locations. I was especially happy to discover this newest location near the Tacoma Mall because it’s much easier to get to than the downtown location, and it has free parking.Highly Recommended!!!“

“Wonderful flavor variety of protein shakes and energy drinks. Tried the blueberry lemonade protein shake *tasted like a blueberry lemon muffin* and Good Vibes mega bomb - both were delicious and neither had that typical “protein” taste that you get when you do it yourself. Great atmosphere and friendly service. Will be back!“
