It said waffle* greek fries . They definitely were NOT and they tasted like the cheap frozen ones from the store. And then the random noodles in the shawarma plate threw me off. And the meat was kinda rubbery and had a funky taste to it. The taste was just not it... I'm dissapointed. It was pricey and couldn't finish it. Sigh... really wanted to like this place :( also it was take out and said it would be ready at a certain time showed up made us wait 25 more minutes like what? And it was empty so idk. Safe to safe probably will never come back

I dunno if I was just unlucky or what, but I ordered a gyro sandwich to go, and it was the worst I've ever had, and this isn't an exaggeration. Inedible, rubbery gyro meat in an otherwise good pita. I have to assume this was a mistake.

We ordered take out from their website, it said it would be ready in 20mins. I show up at 20 mins and proceed to wait ANOTHER 30 mins before they bring my food out… I’m not sure they even started my order until I walked through the door. Didn’t offer me a water or even a chair. I just sat down at an empty table near the door. Barely any condolences for taking so long.I will say the food was pretty good! Meat had good flavor and their tzatziki sauce was delicious. We’d probably dine in if we’re ever craving Mediterranean again but would not recommend take out.

From what this place use to be, it's definitely gone down hill. Not sure if these are new owners or what but half of the menu is not available anymore, it's blacked out with marker and written on the new price which on average is about 4 dollars more per plate. It seems like they are making the food cheaper for them to buy, then make it more expensive for the customers. All I know is whatever happened to this place, it's a bad change. An example is the greek fries, supposed to have waffle fries and such, instead they were regular fries with just tzatziki thrown on them with some cheese. And yet charge more then what it used to be on the menu.

This is the most amazing restaurant! The people that work here are so great also. Any food that you order will be amazing. You cannot go wrong at this restaurant. When my daughter and her husband were in town, we came to this restaurant and this food was so good that even after they left, I’ll continue to come here!

My Wife ate here on Dec 22. That day her card was cloned and sold by an employee there. The next day her bank account was used to buy furniture in San Jose, CA for $1500.00. We know it was an employee there that did this as this was the only time she used her card that week. She met a friend for lunch while being on Christmas holiday that week, and had not been anywhere that week until having lunch here that day. As it was her only outing and use of the card that week and then the card was linked to a fake PayPal account mere hours after she left can only mean this was when the card was cloned. This was the only time here card was out of her sight. Thankfully bank fraud alerts caught this, but AVOID THIS PLACE LIKE THE PLAGUE. IF you do decide to eat here, CASH ONLY! And Tacoma PD has now been informed and will be investigating accordingly.

We love coming here. This is our go to place to grab lunch or dinner when we are up near University Place. The food is always fresh and tastes amazing. Having moved here from an area with plenty of Med. food options, this place holds down the fort. The service is always friendly and the price is very fair for the large portions and extensive menu.
