Not your standard mall fare. This felt more like a friendly mom and pop establishment. We've never had Ukrainian food, so we were curious to try something different as we were road-tripping through the area. Mild, yummy flavors and reminds me of comfort food. The food seemed authentic to me and was definitely worth a try!
First off, y’all need to know I am comparing this food to food cooked by Ukrainian *nuns* and Banderyky is coming out on top. The pyrizhky (pyrizhok for just one) have an absurdly buttery, perfectly done puff pastry surrounding your choice of filling (but if you don’t get at least one sauerkraut, you’re missing out).
