“I come here on a usual weekly basis for all my breakfast/lunch needs! It’s all tasty, homemade, and CHEAPER than the grocery store! Also - HANDS DOWN THE BEST TOMATO SOUP I’VE EVER HAD! Thank you to the owners for always working hard to ensure quality every time! ?“
“Just WOW! First of all: I highly recommend this place. I stayed in Seattle and was looking for a breakfast place- and i found it, not in Oregon but in Washington. Carol's Corner Cafe is a nice, small restaurant which has the unique charme of a workers restaurant- simple, honest and nothing fancy- which I really love when it comes to food. The portions are huge, i'm from Germany and not a huge eater, eapecially for breakfast- and i couldn't take it all. The price for Hashbrowns, Eggs and Bacon (my standard food) is low, the quality is amazing. The coffee is strong and bold, always topped up by the friendly staff. So if you're looking for a non-hipster-place to eat, drive over to Washington and check this place out.“
“What a fun place to have In the neighborhood. Nice ambiance inside with fireplace! Yummy drinks, pastries, and breakfasts.I loved my blackberry white mocha....we also had breakfast sandwiches, and pastries too! Can't wait to try everything!“
“Lunch (boxed lunches) was delivered in a timely manner for a business meeting held in our office. The food was fresh and delicious, I received compliments from the diners! I have ordered buffet-style lunch previously with many compliments too. I will be ordering again, and if you haven't tried them, you should!“
“Adorable breakfast and brunch cafe nestled in an inconspicuous strip mall on 78th. Highly recommend stopping in for cozy meal or visiting to pickup something from their baked goods counter or some of their curated goods like fresh bread, coffee beans, jams, cheeses from local artisans or international imports like French fleur de sel butter. Their tomato basil bisque is delicious.“
“I had the tom yum noodle soup. It's not like the usual Thai tom yum I eat...broth looked different and it tasted sweeter. I assume it was prepared a different way. I prefer the traditional tom yum. But everything seemed fresh and it tasted fine nonetheless. Would like to try their other items. Esp the waffle and crepe but I'm not currently eating gluten at the moment. Wish they were closer to the main part of Vancouver.“
“Great spot. The ladies were very friendly, patient, and helpful. They have a lot on the menu. Good coffee and the breakfast sandwich was delicious. Great service, efficient, fairly priced, and quality coffee. Thanks again Mary Rose and her mom?.“
“It is where I get the coffee I want when I want good coffee. The burnt cream is my favorite.Dietary restrictions: Not sure but they have some non-dairy options and teasParking: It's just a drive thruKid-friendliness: The owner and staff are always nice“
“I tried their Chicken Waffle! It was delicious! The chicken was breaded and lightly seasoned, but it was perfect since it went well with the waffles! Which I loved because it was FRESH! The fruit that they had with the waffles was fresh also overall the meal and the presentation was amazing! I wish I had taken a picture of the dish but I was hungry haha and it was delicious! The staff was very polite and attentive. There is breakfast all day long! Which is a bonus since I mainly work night shifts , and I love breakfast foods ! Parking: They have available parking behind the house of in front on the street !Kid-friendliness: They had a high chair for my son“
“Amazing! First time going there today and my coffee tasted great, it was extra hot like I asked, AND the best part... I got a chocolate covered coffee bean I love when coffee shops give you a coffee bean. I definitely enjoy going to small coffee shops instead of Starbucks,Dutch bro's, black rock those places.“
“The batistas were both really nice. I got their sasquach sandwich & spring special pistachio coffee which was really good. I definitely recommend eating the food warm if you can- I personally have to wait until my coffee is drank, otherwise I feel like my stomach tries to eat itself (even if I eat before any coffee) so I ended up eating my sandwich cold lol- I did try it warm which was amazing & would definitely recommend. I got a warm 24oz with the 2 espresso shots decaffeinated (just bc I'm caffeine sensitive but still wanna drink the coffees lol) & the sandwich for just under $19⁰⁰, but I think it'd be easy to do budget friendly orders here too if you just wanted a coffee lol.Edit; looking at their previous reviews it looks like this particular location needs a new ventilation system to fresh fry the eggs & offer hash-browns... I wonder if they have a goal jar (I'm thinking like a tip jar but specifically for funding a new vent) I could've contributed to or could in the future?Dietary restrictions: If being caffeine sensitive counts as a restriction; They were really nice & told me what exactly my options were for my pistachio spring special were, which was rather helpful. If you're hyper-allergenic-as in breathe a scent & feel nauseous or itchy throat &/orif ingested feel nauseous until you hit some benadryl or actually expell it from your body-to nuts, soy, corn, glucose, or oats (something I know about due to personal experiences) then I honestly wouldn't recommend eating here though bc cross contamination isn't something most businesses can afford to prevent & genuinely can't guarantee. Especially for this coffee shack, they'd have to wash everything throughly & really read the ingredients list, & there's absolutely no guarantee they'd recognize all the artificial corn-based ingredients (such as *any* dextrose or most syrups & others I don't remember off the top of my head).Sucks, I know but it's more important to be safe than eat out or accidentally poison yourself right?“
“Nothing fancy or special about this place, but the location is perfect. I’ve been here a few times already just to grab a cup of coffee before my walk on the waterfront. It seems like the people that work there don’t really want to be there (every time I’ve been I’ve noticed) but i love my coffee to go (Late with oat milk)the waterfront is beautiful and it’s so nice and relaxing out there.“
“Fun coffee shop near Vancouver Mall and Target. It has nice decor, including hanging swings you can sit in. Variety of coffee, pastries and more, including crepes. Servers are friendly. I have been there multiple times over the last number of years and have not been disappointed.Parking: Lots of parking in open area in front of a variety of shops. Never had difficulty getting a spot.“
“I liked this place a lot!The staff was super friendly and the breakfast burrito was 10/10 deliciousness. I did get the Boba Fett drink because it was a specialty of the house and I was not a fan. I can see how it appeals to some but the drink was too chaotic for me. The flavors didn't blend well.I also really enjoyed the vintage star wars vibe inside.Lastly, I did think it was a little overpriced but not so much that I'd never go back.“
“What can I say, Lorrie and Dawn here at ALL ABOUT NUTRITION really go so much further then selling a wonderful product but CARE about your wellness constantly. What hurts is certain people leaving a bad review on a business they know nothing about.I have never known anyone that works harder, always positive, cares, respectful and professional. So many of us show up every morning to start our days out and I cannot think of a better place to spend my health time with friends and families besides once again Lorrie and Dawny.Bobby P“
“Wonderful lunch spot! Chicken salad on croissant, yummy! Tell all your friends, we want to make sure they are open for a long, long time! The baked goods are amazing, scones, beach rolls, assorted cakes and other yummy treats. So good!I have a good friend from Texas and whenever she visits we have lunch at Forevers. My husband and I are crazy about the scones.Lisa and staff are the best! Wonderful service, great food, sweet atmosphere! Thank you!“
“I agree with other people that this place is a hidden gem! It’s a great option for those who are looking for a satisfying breakfast without a long wait. Food is delicious and fresh. The vegetable omelet and the fluffy pancakes exceeded my expectations. Service was also great and fast.“
“Coffee was good, croissant was excellent and general feel of the place was good…pet peeve: there are 4 employees working 3 stations on a moderately busy day and not one has thought to clean the outside tables in the 30 minutes I’ve been here. Why advertise “we have lots of outdoor seating” and leave this orange sitting on a table all morning? It’s off putting.“
“I have loved blackrock since 2009 when they opened their first store in Vancouver. They make adorable coffee shops and they make good coffee. They also offer snacks, especially at the sit-down locations. The drive-thru only locations have less snack options, but still make good coffee! I don’t usually wait very long when I go in. Nice people!“
“Service and food are very good ? I had the filet mignon, baked potato with all the fixings, and asparagus. Steak was the perfect med well, bearnais was so good I drizzled some on top of my asparagus too. Although the aesthetics are quaint with simple plating, it was clean with a very friendly energy. They serve food at the bar or on the Cafe side. It's a small space, but so worth the trip. The owner herself makes the best augratin potatoes which is offered as a side with the meal. They also offer a crab cake topped filet mignon for only $2 more.Pricing for filet mignon dinner was only $23. Rolls were also served at the table. This really is a great value for good food!!! This was on a Saturday when they also serve prime rib. I will definitely try that next visit!!!“
“Easy breezy vegetarian and vegan friendly food that I survived on through college. Delicious and friendly staff, kept me alive for 3 years.Vegetarian options: To my knowledge, the sauces are vegetarian, and most of the food is rice bowls!Dietary restrictions: My father has celiac and has never gotten cross contaminated from Cafe Yumm!“
“I was introduced to this place from a friend, one of the best recommendations I have gotten in Vancouver!Basil popcorn chicken (5/5 all day)You can customize your drink by the sweetness, ice and even the boba, jelly etc. customer service is consistently awesome. Great experience.I do wish it was was warmer inside but then again, I generally take it to go.“
“The best hidden gem I’ve found in a long time. Had what could possibly be the best chorizo breakfast burrito I’ve ever had, along with a very delicious michelada. Also couldn’t resist getting a quesabirria, which was just amazing cheesy goodness. Mad I’ve never been there before, but you can guarantee I’ll be coming back for sure.“
“Cute space, friendly staff, tasty coffee and sizable breakfast/lunch menu. What more could you want?Perfect spot for a quick bite. I had the Mango Breakfast Bagel (Ivanov) but on English muffin instead. It's the slightly messy breakfast sando of your dreams!“
