Had the misfortune to work for these folks about eight years ago. They insisted nothing be washed to Oregon safety standards i.e no chemicals or hot water. Meaning everything that you may eat or have eaten is off a essentially rinsed-only pan with cool water which isn't safe. Don't get me started on the slimy mold in their walk in cooler ?

They were easy to work with and we got very good food for the money. Veggie tray wasn’t so fresh, but everything else was just perfect. They even worked with our very long and specific allergy list! Would recommend and would hire them again for sure.

Dissapointing catered lunch. Chicken seemed undercooked, so didn't finish. Mashed potatoes were runny...watery and swimming in grease?? The mixed "steamed" veggies were cooked to death, hard and sitting in water. The one edible item offered was the mixed green salad. It was good. This was a larger catered order for 50ish people. Would not recommend!

I believe the first time we used STC was for an Christmas event in 1998. Tammy, the owner, is an award winning chef and it shows. in the following 24 years they've catered numerous home parties, office events, and my wedding on the Sternwheeler Rose. I haven't cooked myself for Thanksgiving or Christmas Eve for probably 8 years. In fact, my husband just left to pick up our precooked Thanksgiving dinner from STC. Tomorrow I just follow their reheating instructions and viola Best holiday dinner ever. Never, ever disappointed. Always yummy.

Highly recommend Simply Thyme Catering! They did a corporate lunch for my board yesterday and it was flawless! The boxed lunches were tasty and filling and everyone raved about them. I was particularly pleased that the gluten free lunches were 100% gluten free and just as tasty as the regular lunches. Debbie is a real joy to work with. 5 stars!

They did an amazing job for us. We had a celebration of life we needed catered last minute and they were able to come over, get a menu together and book us for that weekend. We had so many people ask where the food was from. It was incredible. On top of their kindness. They came out the weekend our city hit 115 degree outside. The server had a smile the entire time, didn’t complain once. She was attentive, helped the kiddos dish up and boxed everything for us to enjoy throughout the week. We cannot wait to use their company again in the future :)

Flash forward three weeks and she told us she’d return a quote by the weekend, unfortunately we haven’t seen anything.Now I’m confident we dodged a bullet. The pandemic has increased pressure for the food/beverage industry to sink or swim, however as a business manager you need to establish boundaries.I wish them the best in terms of improvement, staff management and business - but they lost our recommendations. The greater Portland area is also a small city.Poor response times, poor communication, and there’s plenty of other companies in the area to choose from.

They took the order and confirmed the delivery to be made an hour before our lunch.They contacted us 15 minuets prior to the agreed upon delivery time to inform us that they would not be fulfilling the order. Not that they would be late or short a few boxes, the ENTIRE ORDER WAS CANCELLED!They ruined our employee's well deserved special lunch and left everyone with empty stomachs. I would think twice about using Simply Thyme if you intend on actually eating something.

Next time im in Portland I will make absolutely sure NOT to order catering for my airplane from you.Requested catering 24 hours prior to our arrival and you guys never called to say you couldn't do it.My company ordered this a day before.Your excuse was that you weren't doing any catering as you were preparing Thanksgiving meals.Are you kidding me? Do you realize catering is a 24/7 business?Report on your deficient and lousy service has been submitted for review. You need to get on the program or look for another line of business!!
