“I had the tom yum noodle soup. It's not like the usual Thai tom yum I eat...broth looked different and it tasted sweeter. I assume it was prepared a different way. I prefer the traditional tom yum. But everything seemed fresh and it tasted fine nonetheless. Would like to try their other items. Esp the waffle and crepe but I'm not currently eating gluten at the moment. Wish they were closer to the main part of Vancouver.“

“Incredible waffles (as you can see by the before/after pics, haha), and one of the best chai lattes I have had. Sometimes I feel you get a bit more latte/milk flavor than you get a sweetened spicy chai, but this was a really well-crafted drink! I had a bit of my friend's less topping-covered waffle to see how it was flavor-wise, and it was great. The seating area is a bit cozy, so it's a little harder to hear so I knocked off a star for Atmosphere - but it's a casual upbeat spot where you're probably more interested in the plate in front of you. Really friendly service and a great treat spot!“

“We had the Boston waffle with PB&J, bananas, and whipped cream. It was delicious and the perfect size as a dessert for two people. Fluffy and light, and just filling enough. The covered portion of the patio was cozy on a rainy winter's day, while still giving a fun food cart vibe. Highly recommend.“

“It's two blocks away. I order and it's ready in 10 minutes to bring home and Chow down on. Unique consept; kinda like a waffle taco. Try it and you'll be back. Once in a while I run into somebody in the park on a bench eating one. I ask them how the waffle is and they don't stop eating but give me a thumbs up. Been meaning to try that in the summer.“

“I genuinely love this place but I don't know what it is but the quality has sincerely went down since they first opened. I was obsessed in the beginning but now every time I go the tea tastes like it's made with tap water and the boba is always over cooked. The employees are so nice so I definitely hope this is just genuine feedback. I'd love to continue to go here especially as we head into spring time soon.“

“It might be about a 4.6, but it rounds to 5 stars, and that makes this a rare five-star place for me. The service was excellent, the food was overall excellent, and the prices were very reasonable. The chicken I ordered was maybe just a touch boring, but it was cooked really well, and tasted great. The Nashville hot may have been too hot, so something a bit more in-between could be nice (I like spicy, but depending on the mood, the Nashville hot may be too spicy). The biscuits and sides were really good. The portion sizes are large for the price.I am very interested in going back. The menu is pretty extensive for a chicken place, and compared to one of the other front-runners for fried chicken in town, there's just a lot more I want to try. I'm very glad we ended up here.“

“We have been here about a dozen times and finally tried this stand after only hearing good things about them. My concern was that I didn't want a waffle sandwich that was going to have overly thick bread. Let me tell you that was not the case. The waffle was absolutely appropriate, somewhat toasted so it didn't fall apart and was delicious. This cart has been here forever and I understand why. We got the cordon blue and the Van Gogh along with the hot chai. The Van Gogh was definitely the show stopper as it paired well being more of a breakfast sandwich. We ended up trading half and half to split each sandwich and while I thought the cordon blue was done very well I thought it was pretty rich to have two halves. Very glad we split this. The only feedback is that I wish the Chai had a bit more milk in it as it was pretty watered down. I understand it is a waffle sandwich stand first and not a coffee cart and you should too. Overall this place was great and I intend on ordering from it again. Would spend money here again and you should too.“

“This place is amazing. I've had the bubble tea, the mango/strawberry shaved ice and something else I can't recall the name of but it had amazing chewy little bites in it. This is my new go to bubble tea place Good customer service, great atmosphere, plenty of seating and really good desert. “Amazing waffles they are absolutely delicious but I cannot get over the fact that they charge for maple syrup(it’s $1.50) for the smallest little travel package of syrup . It’s a waffle place, how are you going to treat maple syrup as if it’s extra ? I ordered two waffles for my self and a friend and they only gave us one maple syrup, said any more would be extra . Take note they told me this after I had finished paying for the waffles so they wanted a whole other transaction. It’s like a hot wings place charging for hot sauce or a cafe charging extra for sugar, a sushi place charging for soy sauce. It makes absolutely no sense. That being said the food was very tasty and was by far one of the best waffles I’ve had, but if I’m paying $20 per waffle I think it should come with more than a table spoon of syrup .Note one year later - they still charge extra for syrup and they’ve raised the prices for a waffle for $4.45. If you order a half waffle they give you one pack of syrup if you order a whole waffle they give you the same pack of maple syrup. If you’re gonna be extremely stingy over maple syrup at least stay consistent with one pack per half waffle .“
