“Great atmosphere, but they need to work more on their pizza doughPros:They have a beautiful yard with picnic tables and benches, and felt a great place to be on a warm sunny dayThey use high quality toppings on their pizzas, which is rare even for Neapolitan pizzas in WA, and practically non-existent for any other types of pizzaCons:They need to work more on their dough. It was very firm, unleavened, and felt unpleasantly chewy. I’m not sure if they were using tipo-00 flour, but if they did it was waste of an expensive ingredient.Even though the toppings were of high-quality, the balance wasn’t very impressive. Finally, the pizzas are 20% more expensive than comparable Neapolitan pizzas in Seattle area, but I guess this is normal for a restaurant on an island.“
“Cinnamon rolls as big as your head — something I will always go out of my way to get! This is a super-relaxed, local, idiosyncratic spot. What it lacks in culinary “nuance” and fancified refinements it more than makes up for in spirit, surprises, and sass.Parking: Be courteous and considerate about where you park. Vashon is a real live functioning community, and folks need to get in and out of their businesses, homes, and byways. Not always very clear where it’s ok to park around here. Informal distinctions between roads, rightofways, pedestrian paths, places of business, privateprops, alleys, driveways, and load-in/outs. In a community that’s not keen on gajillions of rules ‘n’ regs, happiness depends on kind consideration among all people. ☮️“
“My favorite slice in the Seattle area...and I've been searching! I stumbled upon this spot with picky kids in tow one summer day and ended up finding the East Coast style slices I've always known and loved. We picked up a whole pie to share and got to eat it in the shop. Don't have too many reasons to end up back on Vashon, but pizza here will be a must for a next visit!“
“Only open for take out right now but great, friendly service. I recommend the Portage Pizza which has 5 cheeses, sundried tomatoes and artichoke hearts with olive oil, so good! Gluten-free options available too which is unusual for pizza joints.“
“I made a mistake while ordering online and this location was amazing and very understanding about the issue. The crab pizza was also phenomenal! Highly recommend getting food from this place. Be sure to double check the time/date on their site when ordering.“
“We have now been here twice with our chaotic 2.5 year old and baby and they have been nothing but gracious and accommodating. Their food is delicious and service is amazing (which I feel like is becoming hard to find these days). We are already planning our next visit and appreciate a great business like this in Seattle!Kid-friendliness: Very kid friendly and accommodating.“
“I love going to Pizza gallery they always seem to know my name when I call and they always keep a record of what you ordered before so if you want the same thing they're guaranteed to get it right. Go to Pizza gallery you won't be disappointed.Vegetarian options: All of the vegetables here seem to be fresh I've never had anything that wasn't fresh or fresh tasting“
“We stopped by the restaurant on a weekday and decided to indulge in some pizza, bread, and stuffed mushrooms. Upon arrival, the restaurant was bustling with patrons, and we were informed of a wait. Concerned about our kids getting hungry, we were relieved when they offered us seating in "Nine Hats Wines," which happened to be empty at the time. We ended up enjoying our meal comfortably seated on the couch there.“
“Dined in with family for dinner. There was quite some wait time, the restaurant was very busy. However, the wait was totally worth it. We did the lamb and margarita pizzas with some sides and drinks. The pizzas were really good, light and thin, crispy on the edges and soft on the inside, and had burst flavors. The service was good, very hospitable. The ambience is decent, a little noisy and cramped for sure. It’s definitely worth a try.“
“Pizza is fantastic (with veggie, vegan, and gluten-free options for those that need them). Salads are great, not your typical pizza joint salads. Tiramisu is BOMB. On top of that, the service is always top notch. The guy who usually works the front helped me get pizzas out to my car once when I was picking up pizzas with my infant and is always so friendly when we eat in with our toddler. Love this place.“
“The best pizza in Seattle. Hands down. No question about it.I was a simple pizza kinda kinda guy my entire life. Pepperoni, black olive, mushroom. Nothing fancy. After reading a review about how much someone liked the Socal Special I decided to give it a try. I'm a changed man. Enlightened. More mature. A Socal Sommelier. And now I get one every Wednesday. I call it Dude'z Day (my fiancé's rolls her eyes every time). These dudez know how to make a 'za.“
“Some darn fine pizza! Perfect place to swing by and get a couple slices. Some seating indoors, even more out front. Good music, happy atmosphere. Prices are average for 152nd St in Burien but it's always felt fair for what I'm getting. Totally recommend it.✨?✨“
“Closest thing to NY pizza I've found on this coast. Slices are huge. I got a full pizza for fun last time, and it was so big I had to put it in the trunk of my car to get it home. It's great everytime I've gone. I've only ever gotten their slices of pizza because how can you turn those down. Good atmosphere. Can watch games on TV, play board games with friends, and enjoy delicious pizza.“
“Stellar service, stellar food. I'm not much of a pasta guy but the saffron chicken pasta was fantasticUpdate: spicy sausage pizza was fabulous. We ordered the fig salad this time and they botched it but were super kind about taking it back!“
“One of the best pizza places my wife and I have had! We frequent them often. Flavorful pizzas, calzones, great portions! We usually get a bbq chicken pizza and cheesy bread for our kids. The crust has a nice crunch and is so flavorful. Ingredients are fresh and they have great hours to order and they deliver! We love that it's also "Indian Style and owned pizza"“
“The food and service here was amazing! I wish I caught the name of our waiter but he made sure my family had an amazing time. His suggestions were spot on! I can't wait to visit again. I wish I would have taken pictures but I was too busy eating :)“
“Have driven by this newish Pizza Twist location (never heard of the chain before) for months, finally checked it out… was quite impressed! Got a large supreme pizza to go and it was delicious! Great topping coverage, awesome crust, and friendly service. They had sodas and a couple small rose wines, though some other drink options would be nice.“
“We finally got to try out this place for lunch and it was sooo freaking good. The guy behind the counter was solo and working his butt off. We had a square veggie slice with white sauce, and a slice of BBQ chicken and Hawaiian as well, and all three were delicious (great crust!!) We will be back for sure.“
“Pizza was very good! Came in with my family and everyone loved the food. I got the pepperoni mushroom calzone which was one of the best calzones I had. They did bring the pizza out on some plastic serving plates that had a slight smell of cleaning solution. It wasn’t bad but not pleasant as well. We put the pizzas on ceramic plates and smell went away. We would go again possible ask if the pizza can be placed in a to-go box to avoid the smell.“
“The pizza is wonderful with fresh ingredients. The salads are crisp and flavorful. The view and atmosphere are very relaxing and welcoming. Unfortunately, right now the county won't allow dine in, but get the takeout it is well worth it.“
“The girl who was working Friday Feb 9th was sooo nice. I was traveling alone with my dog and ordered a drink and had to use the bathroom. I didn’t know if she could/should go with me so I made the absolutely WRONG choice to tie her to a table. I was gone all of 60 seconds and I heard a loud crash and a glass break and just knew it was my dog. I work in the service industry too and I felt SO bad. I offered to mop, to pay for another drink. It wasn’t my dogs fault, she is the most well mannered girl. It was my bad decision. The girl working seriously did not seem upset or annoyed with me/didn’t roll her eyes. Said “it happens all the time” (even if that’s not true) and brought me another drink. She was seriously so sweet! Kindness goes so far. Had to buy a can to go and tip her $20. It was a lesson for me as well to remember to be patient and kind to people! ?“
“Dude might be the hardest working person in West Seattle. Dan was taking orders, explaining the menu in-depth and offered us a twist on a regular dish. I asked if the kitchen would know what he was doing he said, “don’t worry, I am a chef as well.” He then stepped back and made that specific dish himself. Not that he had to, because the kitchen was doing a great job, but because he wanted to. All the staff was amazing, the drink are ? and the food truly amazing. Then I find out he isn’t just a server with a kitchen background but he is the owner of this place, The Bridge, The Point and Flight Path. Bro, when do you sleep???“
“Our soccer team booked a private room for our team party. I called ahead and placed the pizza order. Everything was ready at the expected time and the Round Table staff even held some of the pizzas under the warmer for our late arrivals. I appreciated their attentiveness to our group. I highly recommend Round Table. Service was great and food was delicious. Thank you, Round Table.“
“This was my second time coming here and I must say I really enjoy this place. Reasonable prices on most things, great portion sizes, and awesome location. Service is always fantastic and feels very cozy and authentic with the Greek babushka seating the guests and helping “
“Only problem I have with this place is that I myself have not spent more money and tried more of their food. Tandori pizza is spicy and super delicious, they have great deals for large pizza' for under $20 and they're really good size. Staff and vibes are awesome, great place.“
“Just moved to West Seattle a little bit ago so am still figuring out where to go for stuff. Saw them and thought I would give them a try. I am glad I did. Their food was soooooo good. Best pizza I have had in years actually. They are a must try if you have never had them before. And the cashier was super nice.“
“Went to this place with my family, and I loved it! The pinball machines look and feel super cool! My favorite was the Iron Maiden one, I'm a huge fan so it was perfect. The pizza was also delicious! It was in squares, making it unique. The actual restaurant itself looks like a restaurant from the 1980s! Will be back soon!Parking: About 8 spots, but street parking is also availableKid-friendliness: Kids will love the pinball, if you have any, take them here, and they will love it!“
“Oh my goodness! We just had the absolute best service. Everyone working was completely friendly and kind and one employee went above and beyond with cleanliness, switching out his gloves frequently as he went to avoid any allergen contaminations. It was so impressive! Thank you so much kid Pizza! We are one happy family!“
“Pizza is not my first go to food choice but Moto Pizza is unlike any pizza I’ve ever tasted. It is truly unbeatable, remarkable and delicious. I promise you will be craving this pizza after you try it for the first time. It reheats beautifully in an Air Fryer. Lee, the owner/chef is also remarkable. Lee worked along side all his workers for endless hours at the BNP Paribas tennis tournament with a HAPPY HEART and smile on his face. We need Moto Pizza here in Palm Desert California.Vegetarian options: You have to try it to believe it.“
“Let me tell you about this place! We first tried them 2 weeks ago after I picked my wife up from work. We had the Bella Luna Special pizza and cheese bread. We ate in the car a couple blocks away. They only have delivery and pick up. Anyhow, omg! The pizza, the bread! So fresh, so tasty. I'm always on the hunt for amazing pizza and Italian food. My wife and I were blown away.Today, as of this review, we ate there again. I had the Quatro Formaggio with meat sauce, and my wife had the Gnocchi Gorgonzola. Again, ate it a couple blocks away. Outstanding! And super hot and fresh heh. The Quatro is a baked 4 cheese spaghetti. So good. My wife said the Gnocchi was delicious. If your in Burien or gonna pass by, you should try this place! We live in Covington and drove back again to eat this food. And we will continue to!“
“I’ve lived in burien all my life and have never been. I am so upset I have just now tried this wonderful gem. We came in an hour before closing and the food was TOP TIER tasty and hot . Our waitress was so sweet and down to earth and informative. 10/10 we will be back !“
“My friend and I ordered the sage pasta and the pork belly burrata pizza. Ohhh man, this is one of the best meals I've had in awhile! The pizza had amazing flavor, and the pasta was such a good texture. Definitely recommend treating yourself out to a meal here!“
“This place is cash only, so come prepared. I had the corn beef hash, which was amazing, my partner had the country fried steak with the tastiest gravy and my friend had a skillet which she said was good. Highly recommend for breakfastParking: Behind the building. If busy, parking might be challenging“
“This is by far the best Italian restaurant I've ever eaten at. This is a must try restaurant. Everything about the meal was amazing !! Cheese bread starter was perfect, pizza was off the charts good. The main dishes were outstanding. The desserts were amazing. The service was incredible. I will be back and can't recommend this restaurant enough!!“
“We ordered a selection of Indian food for dinner last night and were blown away by the delicious taste, and high value. We had a veg curry, meat curry, samosa, and naan and everything was fresh and delicious and quickly prepared. We're so glad to learn of this option in the neighborhood and are excited to return.“
“Pizza is perfectly prized for it's quality, the novelty slices are all delicious and undervalued. Beer and mixes are on par with the rest of the junction and cheap for the greater Seattle area. Love the bartenders. If you catch a good night there's a chance there's a couple PS2 controllers at the end of the bar with an exhaustive list of emulated retro titles. Favorite bar on the junction by bounds!“
“This place is a hidden gem. Limoncello cake is an explosion of flavor and texture. Quality and fresh ingredients. Perfect atmosphere for family dinner, date, or if you would like to spend a night at the bar and have a meal. Regardless, it’s a must to check this place out. Your taste buds deserve some love.“
“Got to try this food truck at an event in Bothell, it was great! Love the thin crust style and I was worried it might be soggy coming from a food truck but it wasn't! Tried pepperoni and Hawaiian. The pepperoni was pretty greasy but that's usually how it is. Loved the Hawaiian, the pineapple seemed fresh! $4-$5 a slice.“
“Personal pan pizza w olives& lunch bar orderedGluten free optionsDid not carry vegan cheeseGreat garlic rolls in the lunch barSalad looked amazingTemperature noticeably chilly in there for meTo me it smelled like pho in restaurant & some Indian spice scent in bathroom ?Dietary restrictions: Gluten free options but not for buffet lunchSo not carry vegan cheese“
“A bit loud but that was expected since we were there for lunch time. The place was great for our team meeting and the staff was amazing!Dietary restrictions: They have vegan options, gluten free optionsParking: Parking is free and right in front of the restaurant.Kid-friendliness: Kid friendly, there were some high chairs and some teenagers were there as well.“
“Hubby wanted to try something different so we decided to explore beyond our Burien bubble. This place is a gem. We shared the pear and gorgonzola salad. They split it to two plates which was nice. We also had the Pompeii but added sausage. The sausage is delicious.I saved room for dessert and we had the Nutella calazone. If you love Nutella as I do, well worth the calories. It is so good. Save room.Service was great. As said, a gem in Des Moines.“
“The food is excellent. I had thebaked spaghetti with meatballs. The sauce was delicious, and the noodles were perfectly cooked. Served sizzling. Brought memories of dys stationed in Europe. Thanks, guys... I definitely will be coming back. ????“
“Thank you to the person who helped with my door dash issue on 2/2/2024. You made my night end well after a nice week of not feeling great and needing some great food! (Im so sorry for not remembering a name!)If you are looking for some good pizza and rolls, highly recommend this place as my go to!“
“The sign and menu says Romano Pizza and Pasta, not Olympia. Good for takeout but don't try to eat in here. I told them at least twice I was ordering for here but they still brought me everything in takeout containers with a paper plate and plastic fork. There was no tap water, you have to buy bottled water. Food on the other hand was good, and unique, especially if you get the Italian/Greek fusion stuff. I got Greek spaghetti and baklava sundae which were both good. Also quite affordable, like $10 for an entree with side salad.“
“Let's start with the positives: Delicious food with an intimate, charming old-world vibe close to the water in West Seattle. Tasty vegetarian options (including penne with eggplant and saffron gnocchi). Very fresh greens for the salad, which was perfectly dressed. It could be an excellent date-night choice. However, the service/wait staff could have been more polished in a few instances, but I have seen an overall decline in service throughout the industry (I worked in it; these days, it's tough to recruit people, and the turnover is high, so I get it). I was happy to be able to make a reservation, but you have to provide a $50 deposit (which is credited toward your bill). My guest arrived early, but I was less than 10 minutes late; however, they would only agree to seat him when I arrived. I felt bad about that since it was his birthday. Finer/better restaurants should make you feel welcome and special. This one fell short, but the food was so tasty that maybe this could be overlooked. I'm on the fence about returning to bring out-of-town guests, though.“
“This gem of Vera Napoletana is where you can get consistent quality ingredients, great balance and wonderfully made dough. The service is also much better than what you normally get at Seattle restaurants. This place would stand out if it was in Campania, so it easily stands out in Seattle area. We are guests for three years already and we will continue to be guests of 22.“
“I rarely go out to get a pizza, and after reading some reviews was a lil hesitant. So I phoned in an order and think all those people that had a bad experience here should give it another shot. I really loved their Gino pizza. It wasn't dry like most places I been at. And they were super respectful 10 out of 10. Keep up the excellent service; ? 49“
“Gotta love the Valentine's Day pizza special, cookie dough and a tray of cheesy bread! I had a house full of happy teenagers who just wanted pizza (disclaimer: they are not pick about quality). FYI if you order online and PAY ONLINE, there is a rack behind the counter that says "ONLINE ORDERS" with everyone's orders arranged alphabetically. You don't have to wait for the cashier to grab your order.“
“This place is normally carry out or take out/delivery, but they have a couple tables and chairs. My husband and I visited Vashon to see Oscar the Bird King. When we got hungry, I decided that we should get pizza. That's how we found ourselves at Vashon Pizza. They were A+ with customer service, really relaxed and allowed us to get half and half on one pizza without an extra charge. Plus, importantly, their pizza was G double-O D good! Great experience all around! And don't forget to try the freeze dried candy. ?“
