“Every step of the entire experience is recommended, it's beauty, elegance, ambiance, deliciousness... visually as well as to tastebuds. Wonderful caring Staff and Owner. We had a great evening.”
“My favorite Walla Walla restaurant for 13 years running. Incredible consistency and fantastic wine list and service. Looking forward to reserving another seat for my wife and I for my upcoming birthday!”
“Wonderful Indian Cuisine - lovely variety. You may order more mild flavors.”
“Wish we would have taken pics of this serene little gold mine of a restaurant! We’ve heard of it, but this was mine and my husbands first time here, and OMGoodness, the gnocchi dish was truly the best vegetarian dish I have ever tasted (and I grew up mostly vegetarian)! It’s a must try, even if the name and description is a little intimidating— TRY IT! Honestly not sure of the name of my husbands pasta dish but it was very good too. We also had their garlic & rosemary focaccia appetizer with two dipping sauces and it was also the best! Highly recommend making reservations as they were very packed. But they still fit us into their patio dining within 15 minutes, which was the loveliest and most relaxing outdoor dining experience since our honeymoon in Hawai’i. Prepare for $50-60 per person with appetizer and drinks. HIGHLY recommend this amazing restaurant. Definitely make reservations though! :)”

“What a wonderful experience! We came in on a cold February day and were the only people in the tasting room for a bit. The tasting room was cozy and we sank right into one of the big couches. Josh greeted us and we enjoyed chatting with him and learning about the wines and history while we had a leisurely tasting experience, even after a few other parties arrived. The wines were very exceptional- can’t wait to return.”
“Love being members at Walla Walla. They have always been spectacular with orders and any questions, and always provide a great experience.”
“Unique tasting room with 7 wines offered during the tasting. The sommeliers take time to tell the story of the family-owned vineyard during the tasting. Their bottles are on the pricier side ($60-75) but the tasting fee is waved with a bottle purchase. The $75 bottles were far superior to the $60 bottles.”

“Definitely one of our wonderful wine experiences. Sat down with Billo: my wife, daughter and I. He is a seriously wonderful man , a Wine Master ( literally) who shares his knowledge and intellect in a naturally modest way. His wines are absolutely spectacular; the best we tasted in Walla Walla. A must visit especially if you are a little more than a novice. Principia was phenomenal !! And the Bordeaux style blend.”
“Seven Hills winery was a delight. Denise was our host and she was very knowledgeable about the wines along with the history of the building and Walla Walla. We loved our visit. Stop by and visit Denise!!”
Takeout Restaurants
“This is a great beer stop. They also have canned cider. Their large yard with colorful picnic tables and umbrellas has a fun and welcoming vibe. Our dogs appreciated the grass and shade. Service was friendly. The only thing I'd wish for is some snack options or longer food truck hours but we stopped at Albertsons and brought our own snacks”
“One of the best places in town, the staff are always amazing and super friendly, this is my favorite place to go for coffee. One barista in particular, Sam, always goes above and beyond to make sure my coffee tastes amazing and she always engages in conversation with me.”
“We went to have breakfast this morning. I aways ordered there eggs Benedict it usually is very good. Today they were awful. I could only eat some if it. We told the person at the front desk and all she could say is I will tell the cook. I didn't get a sorry or anything. That breakfast was 17.99 and that's a lot and not be able to eat it. It will be a long time before I go back.”
“The food here is sooooooo good. I had a bagel and a breakfast sandwich (Avocado toast). It's still memorable to me now, how fresh both of them tasted. I'm glad I went to the airport a little early and spent some time there.
The people are also very friendly and accommodating. Definitely try if you are in and around the area.”
“Ryan was amazing. He provided an excellent experience with knowledge about the wines the wine makers, the ava and the area. Highly recommend the wine and the hospitality! top notch all the way!! cheers”
“The team here was so friendly and easy to talk to. It really felt like we had made new friends after our visit. The owner is passionate about wine and passed on that passion for skin contact wine with us -- something I had never tried before and now I'm hooked.”

“My husband and I visited Carte coffee this weekend while in town from Calgary, Alberta, and to be honest, I had one of the best coffees of my life there and immediately bought a bag to bring home, which I am now enjoying with a touch of envy for those who can easily go to Carte whenever they want. The staff were also friendly and helpful, and there are a few chairs outside, which was useful since we had our dog with us!”
“So, I’m new in town, right? Everyone I meet keeps saying, "You *have* to try this place. It’ll change your life!" After hearing this for the 347th time, I finally decided to see what all the fuss was about.
But let me tell you, the journey to pizza nirvana wasn’t easy. First, I had to navigate the mean streets of town (okay, it was just a block, but stay with me here). As I approached the entrance, out of nowhere, a wild-eyed, cheese-loving local appeared, blocking my path. He looked at me, then at the door, and shouted, "This pizza’s *mine!*"
Now, I’ve faced some challenges in my day, but nothing like this. We engaged in an epic standoff—a battle of wills, fueled by my growing hunger. With a swift move, I dodged, weaved, and finally, with the precision of a ninja, I sidestepped the guy and made it inside.
And let me tell you, the hype was real. The pizza was beyond anything I could’ve imagined. But the real kicker? The garlic ranch. I’m not exaggerating when I say it’s the best thing I’ve ever put in my mouth—and I’ve put a lot in my mouth, if you catch my drift.
So, if you're new in town or just haven't experienced the magic yet, do yourself a favor and get down here. You might have to fend off a few pizza-crazed locals, but trust me, it’s worth every bite. ??”
“Neat little Cafe with a fun theme and delicious coffee. My older kids said it was better than Starbucks so we ended up going twice! They even had a small fire truck in the parking lot. My littles loved the stuffed Dalmatian. Very sweet and helpful staff. They even give you a hot tamale with your hot coffee, too cute!
Kid-friendliness: Friendly staff and adorable theme! Definitely worth a visit”
“Wife was having a bad day, so we stopped by to get a carne asada burrito. Their beef was nice and moist, as you can see it looks huge in her hands.
Great service very quick too! Will come back next time we drive out from Pendleton
This is the food truck on S9th by super 1 foods”
“Great food, great drinks, amazing staff, not the old green though which i miss. However this is a great spot still.
Kid-friendliness: Not kid friendly
Wheelchair accessibility: Yes”
“I am a current WWCC student, and the bistro just reopened today, I went in just to look around and see what there was, and I was greeted by very professional and friendly staff. And they made sure I got what I wanted and were VERY kind and polite. I will definitely be going back, especially for there pizza! Also the place was really clean and organized.”

“Stopped here today during a Brewery tour with a very large group, and they made us feel right at home. The Beertenders were incredibly nice, and informative. Great personality, and answered all our questions with a smile. Thank you for the fantastic service!! Cheers!!”

“We had breakfast at Mama Monacelli's yesterday. We both got mochas (mine made with almond milk), breakfast, and a pastry each. I had a bagel breakfast sandwich and my husband got one on an English muffin. I had a cupcake (don't judge me for eating cupcakes for breakfast, it was our anniversary) and hubby got an apple crumb cake type goodie. Everything was delicious! And for me it was such a treat to know that everything in sight is gluten free! On top of that, the service was fast and very friendly. The employee at the counter was very helpful and patient while we took our time ordering (I'm not used to having so many choices!). It's not a large place, but there are several tables inside and a few out. Everything was cute and clean. My only regret is that we hadn't been in to try it sooner!”
“Great food. Busy place! On the day before Christmas it seemed like a lot of folks were ordering take-out orders for families. They work hard here! We enjoyed the history (displayed on signs on the wall) as well as the food. We’ll definitely come back when we are in the area.”
“The drinks were delicious and the service was quick. We ordered the Sun Kiss and the Pink Daisy, both were refreshing and well made. The staff were helpful in explaining menu items when asked. The place is a little run down, and while the tables and floor were a little dirty, the kitchen area looked pristine. Would definitely come back!”
“Small town bakery outlet that we stop at every two weeks for phenomenal deals on baked goods.
Armosphere is sparse, but has that cozy small time market vibe. Always decorated for holiday seasons. Staff is always so kind and friendly always look forward to talking to them.
My only gripe is with Franz itself. There are very little options w/o Prop 65 cancer warnings on them, meaning there is a carcinogenic method in the baking process. This always disappoints me about Franz products.
But that is not a reflection of this local shop. Great service, tidy storefront and friendly neighborhood vibe!
Dietary restrictions: Lots of Gluten Free & Keto options for the best prices in town.
Parking: Parking lot is small and laid out a little wonky. Might be difficult for some people at peak times.”
“My daughters and I came in for a graduation dinner after searching google for a good Chinese restaurant. The pics looked so fresh and reviews were good. When we arrived, we found it to be more of a modern Fusion Restaurant with a little Asian inspiration than a traditional Chinese menu and vibe. We all had our tastebuds set on sweet and sour chicken which wasn’t on the menu, so we almost left. Boy, am I glad we didn’t! The restaurant owner asked what we were looking for, and said,”We can do that!” We ordered the Chinese appetizer platter and he specially custom made us fried rice and amaaaazing sweet and sour chicken. Everything was bright, fresh, flavorful, beautifully presented, and totally creative. We were oooing and ahhhing every other bite. The whole experience was a special treat and exceeded our expectations to say the least. My understanding is that they’ve only recently taken over ownership. I’m telling you, this place is a gem that you won’t regret giving a chance!”
“Graduation dinner made easy and memorable, thanks to West of the Blues Barbeque. I’m so happy I found these wonderful people on Facebook. They were a joy to work with from beginning to end, the food was fantastic and plentiful, and the service was top notch. Not only did we enjoy free in-town delivery, but when my son mentioned he was sad I’d not ordered all three bbq sauces, they came back 10 minutes later with a cup of the missing one for him to try while they waited. They are understandably proud of their food. I particularly recommend the pulled pork, ginger carrots, broccoli salad, and roasted vegetables. I didn’t get to try the brisket because it was all gone when I got to the table!”
“Story Time… I live in Utah and one of my sweet friends mom passed away yesterday. I searched online for a place to send her a nice sweet treat! And for some reason, I just kept going back to your cute bakery. I went over your menu many times and finally decided on a yummy box of treats. I went ahead and placed the order and had it sent through DoorDash. I then called the bakery and asked them to write something on the box for me and gosh did they deliver. They wrote everything I wanted on the box and everything was delicious. My friend ended up texting me asking me where I got the yummy treats from when I told her the bakery She said “you were never going to believe this… That was my mom‘s favorite bakery and they ordered many birthday cakes from there.” My friend had never been there, but I feel as though her mom led me to order from your bakery.”
“I was visiting with a friend, I also had my furbaby/emotional support dog with me. She loves her Puppichinos! The employees were very nice.
Vegetarian options: There is a couple sandwiches that are vegetarian. Also, the egg and cheese, kale/mushroom bites. The potatoes too..”
“The restaurant is wonderful with an incredible ambiance. The price is well worth it for the service, location, and food quality. I highly recommend it to everyone. It is a very welcoming place with a very chic and elegant atmosphere.”
“Great wine tasting room, on the plaza, service par excellent. We didn't have food, and substituted the wine, which is a solid 4.5 stars. We recommend the Bordeaux blend and the Grenache.”
“Great little place with good food, good people and a very cool vibe!!”
“Best restaurant in Walla Walla hands down. Wonderful menu, wonderful staff, and classy all the way. This is our go to for special events and we make sure to take all of our out of town visitors here…. and they love it:)”
“Excellent wines. Second time. Good wine-snack options—from charcuterie to Marcona almonds. Friendly, attentive service. Industrial deceptively simple décor—like if Nirvana and Zeplin made a tasting room together.”
“This is a great local brewery. The Steve French is a fantastic Saison and my favorite! Make sure to hunt down these beers!”

“We traveled from out of town so my son could have his birthday party with his cousins. We had reserved a party room at the Bowlaway. I felt the cost was very reasonable for what we received. Everyone was very friendly from the desk to the party room. Of all the attending family members no one had a bad comment to make. We had bowling, pizza, pop, arcade cards, our ice cream was kept in the coolers until we were ready for it. Everyone working at the house had a fun smile and were very helpful for our needs. I gave the Bowlaway lanes in Walla Walla 5 starts and a big thumb's up. Would we do it again YOU BET!!”

“Our go-to for when we don't know what to make for dinner (or just really don't want to). I put 3 stars for service just because more than not, it takes a while for someone to get to our table and get our order and at times refill our drinks. Not to say that the staff are purposely terrible at their jobs, but its hard not to take points off when its not full in the restaurant and we are left sitting at our tables for what feels like too long (for me that's 10 minutes). I think having customers seating themselves in certain areas definitely makes it easier to slip past a waiter's notice. But, BUT don't let that dissuade you from coming. The food is always delicious. My choice order is their hand-battered fish tacos and my husband loves the smokin' mac. I was only ever disappointed when I got their sandwiches. For the price that they are ($13-18), they definitely don't have enough filling on the inside. The most I would pay is $6-8. So if someone out there is listening, don't be shy and stuff that bread a little bit more. :P”
“We dined at the Walla Walla location. Our waiter, Marc, was awesome. Attentive but not intrusive. Food was great! I had the Salmon which was superb! 2 of the guys had steaks, one with lobster and the 3rd one had the prime rib. All were very happy with their meals. We also had the Mac & Cheese which was really good and the Artichoke dip which was beyond great. Sadly, because it is so expensive, we don't eat there except on very very special occasions (had been 3 years since we had been there), so it was a nice treat.”

“Food was good, the variety in shake flavors impressive, and the onion rings were outstanding! But the service was chaotic. Four times to the window, waiting in line each time, before it was all sorted out. Many employees, but they seemed to be stumbling over each other and without an efficient work flow. Liked the old fashioned drive-in history and prefer supporting local businesses when possible. Just not sure I'll be back.
Parking: Regulars know where to park, but without signage or pavement markings, first-time guests are clueless.”
“The food was honestly good but i paid for 2 fries and only got one so thats a bummer but the burgers were honestly good just a little small and the fries were really nice but overrall the food was good i just think the qualify of your food needs to increase to be honest”
“2nd time there. Love the staff and the menu!”
