“Incredible food! Tacos were to die for! Drinks were good (classic margaritas) atmosphere was great. We were able to sit down immediately and our food came out fast! Solid music, friendly staff, and pricing may be just a TAD high, but I'd still come back. Chips n guac is incredible, their tortilla chips are SO good. They had good music“

“An excellent, all-vegan cafe. Easy on/off I-84. Really nice interior. Fast, friendly service. Tasty, fresh sandwiches and house-made chips. Gluten free bread options too. Nothing to fault; definitely check it out if you're passing through Hood River in the morning/early-afternoon. Updated from previous review on 2023-09-18“

“We had a lovely dinner with great service, but would love to see more commitment to supporting Indigenous communities from this renowned restaurant. If you're going to take your name from a place that was destroyed by settlers and a people who were displaced, you should put your money where your mouth is and honor where your name comes from.“

“Spicy! Noodles had great chew, the spicy curry broth was insanely good. Perfect ramen eggs, and the chicken was so flavorful. Potato corn croquette was perfectly fried, crunchy exterior and delicately soft inside. And the calamari was cooked perfrctly without being overdone and chewy. Thai iced tea and the plum sake were also very delicious. Will definitely come back here next time I'm on Hood River.“
“We rented the upstairs room for my 40th birthday party. We had lots of people, tons of kids, and were wild and crazy! The service was impeccable. Our server Kelsie was a pro. The food was delicious, as always. They were kind, accommodating, flexible with whatever we needed. The cost of the room, and the prices of food are also the best in the gorge, and for the quality and service, there is no better value. Honestly I just want to come up with another reason to have a party, so we can host it here!! I’m recommending Pfreim to everyone. That was such a blast! Thank you Pfreim. You are obviously professionals in this business. It was perfect.“

“Groovy coffee shop.Got off 84 looking for a coffee stand, happened to see this shop. Took a sip of the latte I ordered and immediately thought "this is a damn good latte." We'll be making this our new stop on 84 as we cross the state.“

“Excelente! Great birria and handmade tortillas. Friendly service and reasonable prices for generous portions. I have recommended El Cuate to friends and family.Vegetarian options: Veggie tacos, tortas can be vegetarian as well. Quesadillas an option for lacto-ovo vegetarians. Beans are good (not sure if they are prepared with lard) and rice is tasty.“

“Excellent staff, service and food!First visit tonight and it was amazing!Started with the house fries and the brussel sprouts. Both delicious. Then we shared a Country Girl Cherry Pizza. The flavors were spectacular. And I really don't know how they get the crust so thin and perfect. Wow!And our server was excellent. Very friendly and helpful and just the right amount of attentiveness.Altogether it made for a great dinner experience!“

“Full Sail is my favorite brew pub in Hood River. They have fantastic beer and fantastic food. My favorite beer is the Cervesa, a Mexican lager served with a lime. This place also has my favorite version of fried pickles, served with a chipotle mayo. We also ate the Salmon Fish and Chips, where the fish was cooked perfectly. The restaurant can get really busy, especially on the weekends. I recommend getting on the Yelp waitlist. Or you can go inside to get on the waitlist and depending on the wait, spend some time exploring downtown Hood River. Can’t wait to come back!Parking: There is a paid parking lot across the street, but during certain times and days it’s free. There is also street parking.“
“The service, the vibe, the beer and the food were all top notch. My second time here and will definitely be back. My girlfriend got a small pizza and I got the Cubano. Definitely recommend the Cubano, one of the best I've ever had. Her pizza had gluten free crust and I didn't even know when I had a taste. The IPAs were great too. If I lived in town this just might be my spot.“

“Not only is it the best bakery in Hood River, it is also one of my favorite bakeries. You can’t go wrong with any bread or dessert baked here. I’ve tasted many kinds and I’ve never been disappointed with them. I like most of them. The store clerks were also very friendly and I was very impressed with how they all provided top-notch service. There are also brunch options here, including meals and coffee, and there are really many people when the store is open. As you can imagine, the stuff here is really great. At present, I only take out bread and desserts to go home. Everything I have eaten is delicious and the price is reasonable. Especially their best-selling cinnamon rolls, which sell out very quickly so you can often get them freshly baked, which is great!Only recommended if you are just here on vacation or driving through. I would still highly recommend you stop here and eat their delicious food.“

“This is a great local spot that has great ice cream, especially ice cream sundaes if you're into that type of thing and I had to get a Neapolitan one that's perfect for the spring or summertime weather. They have a great little selection. It's a small, very small little shop but cute and I am assuming this has been around for quite a while because I swear I've seen it when I was a kid but I could be wrong. This is a great staple of the community and it keeps going as the places here are local in the small town.“

“Excellent take-out salad with fresh greens, veggies, avocado, and sunflower seeds for lunch. Offers much more than coffee! Plenty of breakfast and lunch options. Quick service with pleasant outdoor patio and open window. Seems popular with locals.“
“Right away we are greeted by a happy worker. They don't have espresso so they kindly recommended we walk down the street to the bakery that has some while we wait for our food. The bakery was super busy so we walked back and got their coffee anyway which was so great! They have alternative milk out on the counter for you. I had one of the best breakfast burritos I've ever had, not too much cheese and a nice mix of veggies with egg and black beans. We sat outside in the sun in the cool morning and enjoyed a great view as well. Attached to the grocery store too which looked like they have great products.“

“Nice place. I love sushi but am not a connoisseur so won't comment other than we loved everything we ordered. The saki flows freely! Prices seemed reasonable. We arrived at 5:15 and it was 3/4 empty, but within 20 minutes every seat was taken (on a Monday night!) so plan accordingly.“

“Best food in Hood River! And right up there with the top restaurants in Portland, as well. Tasty seafood options, steaks, pasta. Good variety, focusing on quality over quantity. Beautiful presentation. Desserts are top notch and in appropriate proportions. Having been here many times over the years, we drove an hour from Portland just for dinner on a beautiful day. The views from the deck are wonderful!“

“Honestly, it’s pretty good NY style pizza. The staff is generally friendly and service is fast. Good beers on tap. I was prepared to be underwhelmed by this place when I moved to Hood River three years ago, but they’ve had consistently good pizza. The little kids play room is awesome. There’s a few arcade games in the back as well. Andrew’s overall is just a pleasant, family friendly restaurant with good food.“

“This bagel shop seems to specialize in New York-style bagels, including smoked salmon bagels. This time I didn't go in to eat their bagel sandwiches, but I took some bagels home. One is 2 yuan, twelve is 17 yuan. I think the overall taste is very soft inside, not too chewy. It must have been baked on the same day, I think it's very fragrant. I'll want to try their bagel sandwiches next time.“

“Great service, fantastic pub food and beer. Most of the time I am disappointed in pubs and pub fare. In the United States it's a crime to not have good fries and burgers. This pub get's it all right.I also enjoyed the buffalo wings, and kudos to the chef for having celery with them instead of fashionable sliced cucumbers. Some traditions deserve to be maintained. My compliments to the professional, hard-working and kind staff. You really made our experience one to remember.“
