“Have been wanting to come here for a while and finally came by for a pre-work coffee. The barista made my espresso perfectly and was great to chat with. The vibes in here are spectacular, not too loud, free Wi-Fi, and I love the upstairs seating area!

There weren’t many food options left but I think I just visited too late in the day!

“I have lived in Redmond for 8 years and have somehow never visited River Trail Roasters. I finally broke the streak today, and I'm glad I did! They are so, so nice there - and reviews are not kidding when they say the coffee is strong, lol. My Americano was great, super deep, roasted flavor and not acidic. It also smells great in there. Prices aren't too bad for Redmond either, I was pleasantly surprised.“

Literally just a mostly-empty cup with a shot of espresso in it), and we've been unable to contact them about it, as they don't answer the phone and their voicemail is full. Ordered the fruity French toast. 3 big thick slices of bread, with fresh fruit and homemade whipped cream The bread only had egg wash on one side, as if they poured the egg on the flattop and set the bread on it, As these were thick slices, the rest of it was just dry bread. Not what we expected. We thought it would be dipped and covered in egg. The silverware is the basic stamped out cafeteria style utensils and takes away from the overall experience of this otherwise homey ambience.“

“all we got was the matcha ice cream and the black sesame and they were amazing! $5 for a large scoop that you could split between 2. If you love matcha definitely get the matcha ice cream but if you want to try something new i definitely recommend the black sesame ice cream!“

“Spacious fun place. I like the counter decor with the old school sandwich board and physical letters/numbers. Coffee was good, love it can get it in glass mug. Not exactly my flavor profile. Breakfast sandwich was very high quality. Baked good we tried was good. I liked this place, just felt like they were trying to do a little too much. Showed up in decor, food and drink choices. Worth a try, they have some different specialty drinks.“

I'll be honest... I accidentally took the wrong turn in Seattle and took the 520 toll bridge LOL!!! I thought, eh, I'm already going to Bellevue, let's get some matcha. I chose Café Joy as I knew there would be plentiful public library parking. FWIW, I used to work in Bellevue so I know all of the best parking areas

Anyway, I visited on a very sunny Saturday early afternoon. The doors were open, revealing an already pretty packed establishment. Albeit, ample room for some to study or catch up with a friend. The menu was filled with many eye-catching items. I noticed they had a corn latte, so I asked the worker if it was possible to do a that with matcha instead of coffee. He suggested I order a regular matcha latte (sweetened) and then he'd add corn cold foam. Good idea! He did a really great job making the drink-- the color itself was vibrant and the taste was refreshing... most importantly, not too sweet

I'd definitely recommend this place-- next time it won't be on the whim of taking the wrong exit LOL!!

Flavor on the peppers and the aioli sauce was great but texture was on the soggy side - that said I'd still order it again. Cafe was on the empty side (Friday @ 2:30pm) so the vibe was relaxing. Will definitely be back to try more of the food options.“

They have the 'no contact' pick up logistics mastered, it is apparent they're taking it very seriously which I appreciate.
