Restaurantji's Woodinville guide: Where to find the best Mexican flavors.
“Great tasting food, with items available gluten free, and safe for this Celiac. The birria tacos were delicious and I didn't get sick at all! Note that not all of the items labeled gluten free actually are, so make sure to ask questions. In other words, the chips are cross contaminated in a shared fryer so they aren't safe.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free“
“I sat in the bar area which is roomy and has several screens to watch. The food was generously portioned but not really the flavor profile I enjoy. Too much tomato-based sauce for my preference. I prefer my rice and beans more on the crispy side. Chicken was somewhat dry in the enchilada. Nice atmosphere though.“
“The Woodinville Taco Time is the best. Easy parking, drive-thru, nicely landscaped, comfortable inside dinning, friendly staff and most of all fresh tasty food - typically significantly better than most other locations. And like all Taco Times far better than Taco Bell.“
“The best Mexican food you’ll find around here.-The adobada(Al pastor) actually has pineapple?-they offer lengua(beef tongue) and tripas(tripe)-They have horchata and Jamaica(hibiscus water)-You can easily order online. One thing is, I wish the veggie burrito included a variety of veggies, maybe fajita veggies or mushrooms. It is just a regular burrito without any meat: beans, lettuce, and cheese.“
“Don’t question it. Don’t even look at the menu. Just go inside and order. Vegan friendly, gluten friendly, IBS mostly friendly with some changes to your taco. Breakfast is stellar and so is lunch. Try the Ribeye (ibs friendly) it’s amazing! 10/10 coming back “
“The food was absolutely delicious on a rainy Seattle day. The carne asada burrito was the highlight for me and was a great snack between wineries! The rest of my group that ordered other items had nothing but good things to say! (Went back and grabbed an extra burrito for lunch the next day haha.) Service was also fantastic and the kind woman who took my order made sure to text me when the order was ready and packed plenty of the salsa verde which is to die for!“
“We love this place. The food is outrageously delicious. They often make errors on to go orders. Sour cream is homemade and amazing. This is now our favorite Mexican restaurant by far.May 2020: Great meal, safe ordering! We will definitely order there again. They took my credit card number on the phone, and dropped the food/drink in my trunk with mask and gloves. No contact at all. We ordered the carnitas burrito, carne asada, chile relleno, taquitos, and 2 margaritas. My son was crazy for the taquitos and rice and beans and chips. I've never seen him eat so happily (or so much!) We loved carne asada! Carnitas burrito was ok. It was all meat, and didn't see the other things included. But I put sour cream and salsa and it was great. I had the Agave Margarita. Yum!! Also ordered Cadillac Margarita, also delicious. They serve the to-go margaritas in canning jars. Salt is on the rim under the lid, I ordered "no ice." I would order w ice next time. 16 oz margarita was just 8 oz without ice. But it was delicious and generous alcohol. I adore the canning jars. You seriously could take home, open lid, and enjoy. Their bar is incredible. They also had nice holders like at Starbucks to keep the glasses from rolling around in your trunk! Glasses cost $1 each, if you want a drink you pay the surcharge. So fun to drink from a jar. ? I will be back for the carne asada. Enjoy!Kid-friendliness: Nice kid's menu. Good drinks.“
“Wonderfully consistent Mexican fare at this neighborhood restaurant! We tend to prefer meaty dishes and this place never disappoints! Last night, service was quick and food arrived faster than usual. We are usually into our second basket of chips before the main arrives but we were pleasantly surprised by the arrival of our orders off the grill. Both of us had the Carne Asada which was cooked perfectly. The combo is very nice, and this is one of the few places I enjoy both the beans and rice with the skirt steak. On a previous visit, I had the Carne Rancheros which was a sirloin sautéed with onions and peppers which was very nice as well. One thing for sure, you will not leave hungry!“
“The food was excellent! Service was a little slow, we had to ask for additional drinks, but they were great drinks!Cons from our group:Our friend used the restroom and advised our group not to use them as they smelled bad of urine. Parking is horrible in this area so be prepared to either circle around and around and hope to get a spot or eventually give up and park like we did away from the restaurant in a gravel area.Parking: Too little parking for all the restaurants and tasting rooms to be accommodated.“
“Great spot to grab some yummy Mexican snacks! The mango was super fresh and delicious. Hot Cheetos and cheese....what else do you need? Maybe some heartburn but worth it! We also got the chicharron preparados but without the chicharron. My daughter doesn't like it. It was still delicious. It's nice to have something culturally different in Woodinville!“
