“This place sells pizza that you take home and make in your oven. However my oven was broken. The two people working were very old, I’d guess in their 80s, and were super nice. Like beyond nice. They made my pizza for me and I fed my kids. The pizza was also quite good. Such nice people.“

“We stopped in with friends while visiting Mercer over a four day weekend and to say the least we weren't disappointed. Our first impression of the outside pulling up wasn't much... However, the inside is quite exceptional. Such a warm and cozy environment decorated with such detail. Dark woods ornamented with unique hand picked decorations fill the place. It was quite busy for a Saturday afternoon but there still was plenty of room for us to sit. We were seated near the back of the establishment and our server was quick to get us menus and to take our orders. The drinks came out relatively fast and were priced competitively with other similar establishments in the area. We went out back to check out the grounds persay and were surprised to find a creek and wooded area that added to the ambience of the place. We didn't eat there that day, but all agreed the food we saw both offered and being consumed at other tables looked delicious. We will definitely return the next time in town.“

“There's not a thing pretentious, overpriced, or fancy about this place. And you wouldn't want there to be. The food? Excellent. The pricing? Fair. The service? On the spot even when they're busy. It's the only place we'll get food in town before 2pm anymore, eat the Benny.“

“Wow, this is good a great breakfast! The stuffed French toast is made with homemade bread and filled with pure deliciousness! The chicken and biscuits breakfast is amazing. Homemade biscuits with deep fried chicken, topped with a thick sausage gravy is a perfection, served with lots of perfectly fried hash browns and two eggs. The prices make you smile for a change too. This is my new favorite breakfast place!“

“Absolutely phenomenal. Great atmosphere, cute bar and amazing view of the water. The food was outstanding! We ordered two sandwiches, ravioli, and a thin crust pizza. My husband is a pizza lover and said this was one of the best pizzas he’s had in the northwoods. Very crispy, awesome flavor and seasonings. Definitely stop here if you’re in the area!“

“Put an order in on the website on the drive to Minocqua, and the order was timed perfectly. Rather than taking it to go, we were able to grab a table and eat in. The service was friendly and efficient. Most importantly the pizza was delicious!Well worth the stop if you’re in the mood for tasty pizza.“

“We wanted a true Supper Club experience, and I can’t imagine anything better. The food and drinks were excellent. We all had the perch dinner on a Friday night fish fry, and loved it. The blackberry old fashioned was great too. The ambiance was exactly as we hoped - cozy and comfortable with decor that’s both classy and classic. We were impressed with how much room there was between tables - not at all crowded or noisy. There’s no doubt, we’ve found our “home” for a great meal and dining experience in the Northwoods.“

“Pretty solid stop passing through up north. Embodies a proper Irish pub.Food: they’re known for their Ruben sandwiches/wraps. It was pretty good. Huge serving for $16. $3 to swap chips for fries - which are absolute crack. We also got the fried cauliflower for an app - def a recommendation. Now, id stay away from there wraps here. Partner wasn’t a fan - a bit vinegary and bland.Service: it all ended up working out. She wasn’t real focused and making her job a lot harder than it had to be. Nothing terrible though.Atmosphere:Such a cool spot. Plenty of dark hard wood throughout. Big bar. Large booths. Lots of late sunshine pokes in too.“

“I have always had an excellent meal here. The traditional supper club, offering surf and turf, is alive and flourishing in the Northwoods. Thank you for your great food and service. Always a pleasure and I live right down the road from them, I'm one lucky patron!“

“What a fabulous fish fry we had here! Great staff, beautiful view, fish was crisp and delicious, they do something with their tartar sauce and nice presentation of cheese and crackers while we waited! Dining room looks a little worn- the vinyl on some chairs was ripped, parking here is a little problematic and not handicapped accessible, plus prices are so high for fish fry but they don't skimp with plenty of sides and the appetizer so at least you walk out full.“

“I don't want anyone else to know about this hidden gem. We found it after several of the areas famous supper clubs were booked over a week out. And boy, were we glad they were. This wasn't just the best meal I've had in the 20+ years of coming to the area. This was one of the best meals I've ever had. Beating out even some restaurants in Italy. The atmosphere feels warm and inviting with a pretty limited amount of tables. But this just added to the feeling that you stepped inside a portal to a mountain town in Italy. The decor is beautiful and perfectly curated. The service was so great. We happened to get sat after two LARGE parties, so understandably, we had to wait perhaps a bit longer than normal. However, again, this just made it feel like a restaurant in Europe that doesn't take away your plate and bring you your check before you're finished chewing. And once the food came... none of the wait mattered. I honestly, would have waited as long as they needed for how good the food was!We ordered the strawberry champagne soup, which was fresh and refreshing. And then we ordered steak and the chicken milanase. Everything was thoughtfully prepared and intentionally put on the plate. We've already been back, and it lived up to the hype again. Leave a message and they will call you back for a reservation. Or don't.. that way it won't stay as busy and we can visit again as soon as we're in town. :)Dietary restrictions: Severe dairy allergy that they were more than generous in making accommodations.Kid-friendliness: This is more a date night spot, but they were incredible with our 5 yr old and made her feel like the VIP table.“
