“I had stopped here last Tuesday after a dr’s appointment for a Matcha and a breakfast sandwich right as we started getting all this snow. The lady working said she was the only one there taking care of everything inside and drive thru and she was so nice and everything tasted perfect, and it came out quickly. Will visit again next time I’m in Beaver Dam ?“
“Love the local character of this hole-in-the-wall place in downtown BD. This place has been around for decades and the interior is a testament to that. A quirky mix of a diner and a bar. Actually somewhat confusing given all of the TVs for watching sports, the booze and the beer. You'd think it would be open into the wee hours but no it closes at 2pm! Odd. Everyone was a local there except for us - we were the only ones who needed a menu! The banter between the staff and the patrons was entertaining. A real hoot. I ordered a chili cheeseburger which was pretty good. My wife ordered a bowl of chili and a grilled cheese. Both were solid though the chili is more like a chili soup than a typical beefy chili. Lots of beans and good flavor. I am glad places like this are still around - a real historical gem.“
“My family and I came here for lunch on a Saturday afternoon. We were greeted and seated immediately. The menu has alot of variety even for the pickiest eaters.The atmosphere was welcoming and comfortable. The food and service is outstanding!I had a bacon cheeseburger and another family member had the mile high club sandwich. I also had the chicken tortilla soup which was fantastic, I definitely recommend it. Everything was delicious!“
“Our first time here. We were a little confused because we lined up in front of the Order Here sign, but the locals politely told us to start at the other end. The coffee and Kick Start sandwich were both delicious. We will definitely be back on our next trip through town.“
