“Went for breakfast. Restaurant was considerably full but was seated immediately. Waitress brought the menu and seemed less than friendly. Put in my order, received food. Grandma's garden skillet was excellent. Waitress never returned to the table to check on food or anything. I'm not sure if she was upset because it was a table of one as opposed to a family number, but just never seemed like she was pleased. Didn't notice any changes with her on her larger tables nearby either. Restaurant would be a 5 all around but staff can always change the environment.“
“Food was deliciously amazing, timely, and precise! There were dirty tables not attended to and our cashier (don’t recall her name) was a little short with us and seemed to be having an off day (as we all do) other wise 5 stars across the board.“
“A great family owned coffee shop with good food. Had a great french dip for lunch. Unfortunately, and fortunately, they were out of Chai. Kat, the barista, made me a special drink, and it was amazing. The homemade cannoli and cherry cheesecake were also amazing.“

“This place is SO good. I came here out of state to visit a friend. We had lunch here with her daughter. Our pesto portobello mushroom sandwiches were both refreshing and filled with flavor. The smoothies are also very good. We had a small mess up on our order and they fixed it right away and corrected the issue. Amazing service, Amazing food. We will be back!“
“"the" Kitchen in Sussex, is a hidden gem. I am hesitant to review it publicly because it may lose its small town diner feel.I have been here 2x, both times for breakfast. Fast service, friendly service, quick coffee and good. My first time I had an omelette - nothing wrong with it. The second time I had the Corned Beef with two eggs over easy - nothing wrong with it. And, a side of ham - moist and not dryed out. The wheat bread both times were good.A nice, small town diner that for me does it right.I will be back (at least) 1x per week.“
“The warm welcome we got from the lady at the counter was so good ? ? That made our day and we loved the coffee ☕️ and biscotti as well. Sat by the window looking over the street and enjoyed our time there. They also have a restroom and yes it was super clean. ?“
“Greeted with smiles on our Saturday morning walk. Got two Shakeratos, one quad, one double. It was not overbearingly sweet, the espresso was the main part of the drink which we appreciate. Also got a cranberry orange scone which was delicious. The backyard was a very calming spot to enjoy the outdoors and slow down before our day began. Will come back soon!“
“I've been to First Watch a few times, and I'm always very impressed at how nice their staff is to customers. My go to meal is the half salad and sandwich. They have a very good Cobb salad, fresh tasting ingredients. I also like how you can join the waitlist online.“

“lovely local diner with good food and good service [cash only]I tried this place out for the first time this past weekend after being recommended by a friend and was not disappointed.It's a small restaurant that physically is showing signs of its age, but the good food and friendly staff more than make up for it in my opinion.They're a cash only business and only open breakfast-lunch, but prices are absolutely reasonable and I would definitely recommend stopping here if you're in the area and looking for a bite to eat.Parking: parking next to the restaurant is limited to a few street spots in front, the next door liquor store does have a parking lot and there is free street parking nearby if you're willing to walk a block“
“Smooth coffee. It was like silk!!!! Croissants were light and flaky. Absolutely delicious. Service was fast and friendly. Prices are a tad on the high side but you get quality in return so it's justified. Ambiance is wonderful. This place is literally a hidden gem.“
“I got the veggie scrambler and my brunch mate got the breakfast sandwich on the croissant. Both were delicious, good quality food and good portion size, without breaking the bank! Very satisfied. Locally owned (the person working today is the owner, she's very kind) and good tunes playing! Highly recommended.“
“My daughter and I come here after school every Tuesday since they've opened and we've not had a bad experience yet. The prices are what you expect for a coffee shop that competes with Starbs. The general manager and team were so sweet to me today. I never tried matcha and they made me one to try with no pressure. I didn't care for it so I had them make me my normal caramel flavored concoction. The barrista made me a lavender matcha to try as well! Because he wanted me to get the full experience. So sweet and it felt very welcoming and as someone who hates returning food/drinks, they made sure I knew they were invested in me loving my drink!“
“Was welcomed so warmly that I will come back to this place when I’m in town again just by how I was greeted. The pastries are fantastic. I’m not a big pastries guy but they were really good. The chocolate Swiss thing was amazing. Bought a bunch of stuff for the office. The oat milk latte was very good. Give me a little peanut butter chocolate thing complementary, I looked in the area I would go here all the time to support this business.“

“This place is a treat with a warm welcoming atmosphere, a waitstaff that is delightful, and food that is delicious and plentiful. My husband and I split the corned beef hash breakfast which comes with large hunks of potatoes, a generous helping a shredded corned beef and caramelized onions that melt in your mouth. Topped with two eggs perfectly cooked and a side of toast ( we chose the rye which tasted like bakery quality) this breakfast was large enough that we brought some home.The latte and tea that we had topped off a great way to start the morning. Others around us were enjoying Bloody Marys which also looked terrific.We agreed that the menu as a whole had us talking about returning the next time we were in town. From eggs of any variety you can imagine, to French toast to biscuits and gravy to avocado toast to … There are a lot of great options.“
“This place has been a staple of Cedarburg since the early 1990s. My dad took us here for lunch when we were kids, and not much has changed about it. For that, I'm grateful because it's simply a great little spot to grab a bite to eat while enjoying downtown Cedarburg. The Woolen Mill building, where this restaurant sits, adds an atmosphere of warmth and nostalgia that simply can't be recreated. Creeky floors, open floor joists in the ceilings, antique decor, and even vintage silverware and china is a nice touch. The food here is simple but delicious and hearty. They specialize in crepes but have great sandwiches and some of the best cream of broccoli soup I've enjoyed anywhere. I like the Ham and Swiss and the Reuben sandwiches, and the ham and cheddar crepe is my favorite. Try and get a seat by the window so you can gaze out a Cedar Creek and the waterfall of the dam through original antique glass window panes from when the place was still a woolen mill. This place is especially awesome on cold rainy days. I hope Cream and Crepe is around forever!“

They offer dine in or carryout, with ample seating and a bar.Make sure you check this hidden gem out on your next visit to Cedarburg. You won't regret it.“
“Just ate lunch here today and seasonsl salad was awesome. Very gresh. Also had lemon chicken kale soup. No chicken in my cup and alot of kale but flavor was good. The employee at the register was very friendly. I would definitely go back. Top ingredients cost, you get what you pay for, ?“
“Got seated right away, it's a real nice atmosphere. Waitress was very busy & doing her best to keep up. Was interesting to see robots delivering food to tables, then wait staff move it to customers. Was hard to choose a breakfast option, soooo many good options! We chose sweet & savory omelet & country benedict. Omelette was delicious & huge; I had leftovers the next morning. Benedict was also delicious w/really good country gravy which had a unique hollandaise flavor. Both could have been hotter. Coffee was real good. Pricey, but considering amount of food & overall experience, we'd go back.“

“Super cute and spacious coffeehouse. I loved being able to sit outdoors. The scenery was most lovely and inviting. Flowers and a positive vibe. Friendly staff for the most part. My vanilla iced latte was perfection, but I wasn't most keen on the turkey sandwich. My kids enjoyed their meals and I would come back to try a different meal. The bathroom was clean as was the restaurant. There is plenty of seating both inside and outside. Cedarburg is a super cute community with friendly people. I recommend going here and recommend a vanilla iced latte ~ my favorite coffee!Parking: There is a free parking lot in the back of the building that is public parking. Road parking was full and busy.Kid-friendliness: Outdoor seating was nice for my daughter's. They do have a kids menu too.Wheelchair accessibility: Has stairs to get into the building“

“Question: How do u get a twofer of shrimp scampi, chicken orzo, and the new tiramasu cold brew for only 1.99? Become a member. I love a good deal, and u can't beat that. The restaurant itself is always bright, clean, and organized. The staff is helpful and quick. Today Emily worked her magic and I was able to combine deals and have a lunch for this ridiculously cheap price. By far my main reason I love this location is the huge windows. U can see if the highway is gonna suck. U can see hawk, seagulls and Robin's swoop. U can see people smiling as they leave laden with purchases. Great view and great prices that's a twofer.“

“Today, I went to Ally's bistro for the first time with a friend. I had a wonderful experience, and I enjoyed the atmosphere very much. The food was awesome, and the service was very quick. We both ordered the grilled Asian salad and a coffee. The salad was so delicious, and the portions were very generous. I was very impressed with the amount of chicken on the salad. The coffee was hot and delicious, and there was a nice assortment of flavored creamers. I did enjoy the ambience created by the old record albums on the walls of the restaurant, and I like the picture of the Beatles. The restaurant was very clean, and there was lots of free parking. I will be back again for another visit, and I would highly recommend a visit to Ally's bistro“
