Visited for the first time last week. Dined at the bar. Food was good. Bartender and server were knowledgeable about the menu and made great recommendations on drinks and food. Our server Amilear was especially excellent! He went above and beyond to ensure our experience was awesome. Very great guy. I'll be back!

I am currently doing a taco tour and trying to find the best chips and salsa, steak taco and lime margarita, which are being graded on a 1-5 scale. When my child is with they rate the chicken tacos. Currently the tour is at #16El Dorado located at 2545 Manitowoc Rd (It doesn’t show up on Facebook)Chips and salsa - Chips are very hearty and lightly salted. The salsa was very fresh and had a great kick - 4Lime Margarita on the rocks - Really good, you could definitely drink several of these. Not sour and not too to sweet. It has a great balance - 4Steak Taco:Flavor: 5Fullness: 5Appearance: 5The meat was very flavorful plus they hand make their tortillas which were amazing!Chicken Taco:Flavor: 4Fullness: 5+Appearance: 5Flavor was good, but there was so much meat that the taco was quite dense which made it come off dry even though it wasn’t. But overall Lilli said the taco was great.Service - 5 - The server was great. This place is authentic as it can get. The fruit drinks are not powdered (real juice) the coffee is Instant (yes, that's how they like it), hand made tortillas and the food was delicious. For a second I thought I was back home in Texas.

I had al pastor enchiladas ?. They were spot on good. Great taste and excellent seasoning. My wife had the pechuga ala plancha. The chicken was moist, tender, and so tasty good. You got to try this place!

Stopped in for dinner with a group of 6, including 2 kids. My wife enjoyed her chimichanga and I loved the El Dorado burrito. Definitely recommend that. My buddy got some kind of a meat and cheese/queso dip, and that was really tasty. The kids were happy. Quick turnaround on the food. Good service. Gonna try one of their burgers next time.Vegetarian options: Saw a veggie burrito on the menu, sounded good.Parking: The parking lot isn't huge, but there were open spots when we arrived. Grass and street available for overflow.Kid-friendliness: 5 or 6 selections with sides for kids, including nuggets, mac and cheese, fries, rice, and juices.
We truly enjoyed El Dorado Cantina and Grill. Great old-fashioneds to start. Our food was full of flavor and service was quick. Very clean and neat. Friendly staff. Will revisit.

Food was so good! I got a tostada and enchilada plate with steak and chicken. Yummy! Just enough spice and flavor packed a good savory meal. Horchatta was alright, homemade. Food came out quickly, was fresh and hot. Salsa was a little spicy, which I like and the chips were warm and a little salty. Overall I plan to go back and enjoy another meal here!Parking: Limited parking but parking on the street and around the block is very convenient.
