“The wife & I have been coming here for years and everything on the menu is amazing!!! ( even the gooey burger….. it has peanut butter on it….. sounds weird but it’s quite tasty)Service is always friendly & the drinks are great!!“
“Top tier bartenders, always super friendly. Nevah, Makayla, and Austin did an outstanding job. Can’t beat the prices. Nice patio outside overlooking the course. Gotta try the deer chips. Shoot pool, play mini golf, darts, even foosball, this place has it all and is worth your time. Best spot in Brillion.“
“A great venue with reasonable prices, good food and solid drinks. With better service, I would have given 4.5 stars (that's right...Yelp can't trust us with half stars). The restaurant is a bit off the beaten path. That works if you are looking for good food; which the restaurant offers. We had a party of six of our table. Everyone agreed the food was very good. I had the Mile High Meatloaf. It was a great portion and was cooked perfectly. I added the salad bar for a minimal charge. It was well stocked with all the standard items and many tasty pasta salads. Several people I was dining with had the Cajun style walleye. They also received hearty portions and said it was really good. I have to tie our bar choices to our experience with our waitress. She was a young girl. She was very nice. Whoever trained her (or didn't train her) is responsible for her shortcomings. The poor girl had no idea about anything served at the bar. People at my table had to go up to the bar to look at the beers offered and to look at which liquors were available. First, the young lady should have been instructed to say, "Let me check on that". Secondly, someone could have helped her with a cheat sheet. It was an awkward 5 minutes of drink orders. Again, not her fault but failure by whoever "trained" her. Overall, the drinks were good. Another "training" failure was our waitress not returning to see if anyone needed anything or to see if another round of drinks was needed. No one to blame but management for not giving our young waitress the chance to provide exceptional service. Would I return? Indeed. The food was tasty and reasonably priced. If the manager did right by their employees, it would have been a truly great experience.“
“Went there after a recommendation and had a wonderful experience. It’s evident the homemade soups, sauces, salad dressings were made with a great deal of thought and care. The appetizers and entrees were all amazing, the specialty muddled cocktails were super yummy! Love the cherries! The staff was super friendly and inviting. The only critique would be the booth lights are a bit bright. We will be back for sure!“
“My wife and I moved to the Fond du Lac area about 5 years ago and have been trying different places around the area for their fish fry’s. Although some have been pretty good none have been OMG we have to go back until we found Neighborhood Pub and grill. I had the hand breaded perch and my wife had the baked haddock and they were both delicious. We will definitely be going back!!“
“I stopped in for lunch yesterday. I was about to order the chicken wrap which sounded really good on the menu but then our server told us that the special was fish tacos. 10/10 would recommend! The sauce had the perfect amount of a flavorful spicy zip. Friendly staff and cool looking place as well. We'll be back.“
“Love D&G for an old fashioned diner experience for breakfast. They give lovely down home gifts for Mother's Day and Father's Day. The service is awesome. The food is good and homemade. I would've given it 5 stars had they had real maple syrup. Bring cash.“
“Best fish fry in NE Wisconsin! I was hesitant to write this as I’d like to keep it a secret so it doesn’t get busier that they already are. But this place has great burgers, wings, broasted chicken & the best fish fry. Best frog legs I’ve ever had! Plus more than just fried fish with seared scallops & salmon.Kid-friendliness: The claw machine always welcome kids & they have plenty of menu options.“
“I was here for a friend's cancer benefit. The place had a lot of room for the benefit. As well as games to entertain the teenagers. Darts, some laser one I think. The one where you roll a ball up into a pit and it goes into a points hole. The hockey game where you drop a ball into the game then you use levers to hit the ball with your players to score. Pool table. Stage for music. Nice atmosphere here and the bar staff were friendly and helpful. Also have a kitchen for food ordering. Roomy and table and chairs for the floor. The only downfall for me was that it's way out in the country in a blink you miss it town. I didn't have good directions to get there. But nevertheless a nice place.“
“The food is FABULOUS, and all of the staff are just wonderful. Linda, the owner, updated the interior so it looks nice too. My friend had bloody mary, which they are legendary for, and she loved it. It's out of the way, but worth it for the food and cheap drinks!“
“Food was very good, and being originally from the NY, NJ, PA area, I have had the best. Service a bit slow, but went early so no crowds (Covid aware). Had 3 different fish, and usual Wisconsin sides... but they can keep their potato salad. Rather bland.“
“Van Abel’s catered our wedding in Green Bay in December. We got so many compliments on the food, even our local guests that knew Van Abel’s were so impressed with how fresh the chicken was. Our out of town guests called it one of the best wedding meals they have ever had! The service was great and the lines moved quickly. I would recommend Van Abel’s catering to any bride and groom!“
“My friend Todd told me about this place. I went to check it out and I was very impressed! The menu is very diversified and I have had multiple breakfast dishes! I love the variety and I am looking forward to trying more of the different dishes I haven’t tried yet. If you are in the area I highly recommend stopping by and support a local business!“
