“I had frog legs and I asked the chef to do them in a lemon butter sauce and they were to die for! I ate all of the legs and was looking for more once I was done. This meal was excellent for the price and service received!!! We will be back again for sure!!!! The service by KIM was extremely good. KIM was there to check in constantly to see if we needed anything.“
“Tasty and reasonably priced fish fry. Luv the deep vinyl music they play too. Looks like it might turn into a ROADHOUSE late at night, Suppertime quiet tho...Food came very fast. Lots of dartboards. Nice folk here . My go-to place fer da Friday night fish fry.“
“Lots of different options, large portions which I liked. Most options were great, ham was a tad dry but still good and easy to eat. Very friendly workers, very helpful, responsive, and attentive. Very popular, could use an expansion had to wait 30 minutes to get seated. Very comfortable. They've got a bar area and an all you can eat buffet area as well.“
“Great local place for some great food. We were very excited to try it for the first time. I got the lunch special. Salmon Power Bowl with rice, avocado, arugula, an egg and sweet potatoes. It was one of the best tasting protein bowls I've ever had. Wish this would be a full time menu item! Wife had the Gnocchi pasta. It was also fantastic. Kirk is a great server and provides excellent service.“
“I had a recommendation that this was a good place to get a Gyro. As soon as I opened the front door, I could smell the spices and hear the grill going! The music was on point and I was already pleasantly surprised! I believe the man who took my order was also cooking so it took a second before I was able to order which was perfectly fine because I’ve never been there before. I ordered the biggest Gyro on the menu and it was by far the best Gyro I’ve had in a long time. I will be back to this place in a hurry!! I can’t wait to come back to a delicious, affordable place with great customer service!!“
“Friday Fishfry was amazing. Kim, our waitress/ bartender was very friendly and knowable of the menu and offerings. She started us off with some really excellent muddled Brandy old fashions. Our dinner were the deep-fried haddock baked haddock and deep fried scallops. All very delicious and piping hot.It was close to the end of dinner rush so Kim was able to spend a little time chit chatting with us about the area and that we should come back for the Saturday prime rib sandwich special or Sunday chicken fry deal. I do believe we will be back soon“
“I ordered a chicken Caesar salad- no onions, extra dressing. The salad of course came with onions on it and no extra dressing. I ate it anyway and the salad is really delicious- the chicken was really moist. 4/5 because of the onions and no extra dressing.“
“Great food in big portion sizes- I'm never worried I'll leave hungry! Service with a smile, the right kind of grill and bar atmosphere, and a nice view of the adult pool parties from that neat little dining area further back in the restaurant. Would recommend!“
“Had an amazing lunch at Kountry bar! The waitresses were amazing, running around taking care of everyone and still having time to have a conversation!! The food was amazing at a great price! The customers around were great, very friendly and easy going atmosphere! Will definitely be back again! Can’t wait for Thanksgiving Eve!!!“
“Allow me to preface this review with the fact that I've moved up here from the south, so I know a thing or two about good barbecue, and I can be quite picky when it comes to this subject. With that out of the way, I'd like to praise this chain (and this location in particular) for becoming my new home away from home. Do not let the name fool you; this isn't just a generic pizza place, but a genuine, southern-style barbecue restaurant that happens to also offer pizza. Not only do they serve sweet tea, like every restaurant honestly should, but their tea is also genuinely great! My wife loves the mango-flavored one, whereas I go for the standard version, as I tend to. Seriously, this is one of like five places in northeastern Wisconsin where you can find genuine sweet tea (unless we count the other locations, of course). That being said, of course I have to talk about the food as well. I've read about on their history a bit, and it would appear the people who started this chain (in Kiel, WI, I believe) actually used to work in Kansas City, slinging up smoked meats and the like, and let me tell ya: you can absolutely taste it. The ribs in particular are great here (arguably top 3, but definitely top 5 I've ever had), and we also like to get the brisket as part of our shared platter. Now, I won't lie to you; the brisket isn't quite as consistent. While I'd rate the ribs 9/10, the brisket ranges from 6.5 to 8 out of 10; they have their good days and their bad ones when it comes to that, but it's not bad enough to where I wouldn't recommend it, as it still gets the job done, and I'm frankly somewhat of a brisket fiend. And even when it's not as good as I know it so often can be, it's nothing their sauce won't be able to fix, which I'd also like to point out: is amazing. I'm always a huge fan of Memphis and South Carolina styles, and they're both fantastic. The rest of the sauces are good, too. My wife really likes the pineapple habanero one, which I wish was spicier, but does have a nice sweetness to it.My one criticism would be that I feel that every barbecue restaurant needs to have either collard, mustard, or turnip greens, which I love to have as a side. But I do like their baked beans and mac and cheese well enough.Overall, great place to have within an hour of where we live. Southerners, this is the one! This place is authentic, right down to the wonderful atmosphere it provides. And the price is right, too.Parking: While the free street parking is limited, I have never seen it get busy enough to stop us from parking nearby, even during peak hours. I have a feeling this one of the less visited locations, which is a shame, because my wife and I love it!“
“It is a bar attached to a bowling alley, so if you're looking for a quiet dinner, this generally isnt the place to go. That said, the food is good enough that the bar and restaurant side could function and thrive on its own. The food is really good, and the bartenders are on top of everything. We go a few times a month to eat and have a beer or two and always leave happy.“
“I had a bacon-turkey club sandwich on a Pretzel bun, it was ok but not what I had expected. The upgrade to the pretzel bun did it no favors, everything squirted out of the bun. My wife had a chicken quesadillas and said it was very good.Service was ok but the coffee refills were quite slow.“
“The owners are the same people that make your food and serve you. That in it self is one of the things that makes this place the special gem that it is. The quality of food is always delicious, the eating environment is small and very cozy, The wait staff is always with the kind and quickness and in most cases will remember your order I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this the little diner for any meal. I usually order a half order if hash browns and a Greek omelet with extra feta and tomatos“
“Our favorite bar/restaurant in the Sherwood area. Conveniently located right off 114 where it splits from 55. Daily specials, awesome desserts, and great bartenders keep us coming back. Fun Packer game prizes and bourbon tasting events as well.“
“This is one of my all time favorites since I've been in the area. I literally come here every day when I have time before work. The coffee is always strong & fresh plus I appreciate how the servers are always walking around ready to refill your cup before you have a chance to ask. This is a family owned restaurant I think with a lot of regulars I've became one of them. It's not very loud but the people here do come to socialize. I have brought multiple people to this restaurant to eat with but mostly I come alone and still feel welcomed plus comfortable. No matter what I order to eat it always comes out hot & ready. There has not been a time where the food wasn't up to par and I've been here over 10 times. Definitely worth the trip.“
“This was our first time ever bowling without a computer telling us. So that was quite interesting. But I did like that we could play as many games as we wanted and then pay. Our bowling balls got stuck a few times but we have had that happen before at other places. Just how it goes. Thanks for having us“
“Today i went to wrightstown to attend to a spiritual festival and decided to grab lunch with the lady’s and had a great time, food was amazing and as for service it was kinda busy but i understand that when there’s only one waitress it can get a little hectic, other than that it was delightful. i will recommend Luckys to all!!“
“Do not skip!! The food is amazing. Loved that the chef came out to chat about g.f. options that I could eat. Everyone LOVED their food. Don't pass this by.Side note: I just learned brunch is coming 4/1/24!!!!!And yes, you can make reservations!!!“
“On the way back home to janesville from Ashwaubenon, and stopped at this place after looking up Italian beef. Phenomenal food, and great service. While we ate, the costumers who came in were all regulars who the team working knew by name; amazing, comfortable atmosphere. I would drive an hour to get this.“
“Placed my order and paid with cash on delivery. They did an amazing job. Son's steak was perfect. I ordered WELL-DONE and it wasn't over nor under done. Biscuits and gravy for myself and the gravy wasn't to peppery at all. Thanks Jerry and staff.“
“Excellent service, the server had tried all the food so could make recommendations and suggested a delicious beer to go with the food! The salmon BLT, sidewinders, spinach artichoke dip and chicken and waffles wings are all worth going back for and there was lots on the menu we still want to try next time! Patio opens Memorial Day so we can’t wait to sit outside next time!“
“Love it out at Royal St Pats! Love the emails, too! And articles. Prolific, creative writing. The golf course? Wow! Country Clubesque! As is the food and service. Truly a five star place. Can’t wait to tee it up out there numerous times this season. Contemplating a membership out there down the road a bit!“
“First Time at a Culver's! YUM! Everyone is polite, Food awsum!( only one critique, I added 10 Fried shrimp to my order, asked for tarter sauce ( I assumed they where those lil packets) asked for 10! Oh My!, small tubs o tarter sauce and was charged for ea. ) My bad, I assumed incorrectly... Otherwise perfect 10“
“Great place! I went there about 10 yrs ago and wasn't impressed but tonight was really good. Atmosphere was good and had remodeled since I've been there. I had an old fashioned and the T-bone and they were both fantastic! I didn't like the baby reds were deep fried and crispy, other than that I'd definitely go back.“
“Love little dive bars. The place reminds me of the old school ice cream/burger joints you would go to after a football game. The food was very good and the family cheese burger pack. Wow, the amount of food you get is crazy. If you want a taste of thw good old days definitely stop here.“
“The food is FABULOUS, and all of the staff are just wonderful. Linda, the owner, updated the interior so it looks nice too. My friend had bloody mary, which they are legendary for, and she loved it. It's out of the way, but worth it for the food and cheap drinks!“
“This is a restaurant where I have never had bad meal. Staff is always friendly, helpful, and laughing with the customers. They have better pizza here than many pizza restaurants, which I think speaks volumes. Highly recommended to me by friends, and I must do the same!“
“First Culver's I have been in that I couldn't rate five stars. Newer Culver's, needs a little work. The food was great. We ordered two hot fudged sundaes, and it seems like it took forever. We did not time it. The wife finally went up to the counter to see if our oder got lost. Our ice cream came, no hot fudge. They took them back and corrected it. Nothing was said. A simple sorry can go a long way. I have been in a Culver's where I was over heard that my order was wrong. And in couple of minutes I had a manager at the table apologizing. Need to work on talking to customers. Short and sweet, but they need to talk and smile.“
“I have eaten there many time. Their walleye is outstanding and large. Great pasta dishes. I had a chicken and Brie sandwich last week and I don't know how they could make it taste so good. I've always been happy with their service. Great place to go for birthdays. Of course there is the beautiful view.“
“Great sandwich, great service, nice clean place! Recommended giving them a try if you have not already. My old employer used to give us one of their hams for the holidays...so i can attest to them being super delicious as well!! My family always looked forward to getting them each year.“
“Homemade soup for the win. Packers scoring touchdowns on 7 tvs. Racing...if you must. Friendly bartender pouring apple pie shots for touchdowns and a menu anyone could appreciate. Website menu nicely showed all the options. Spacious with tiny bathroom. 5 star Wisco bar. Just because it deserves mentioning again, touchdown APPLE PIE SHOTS.“
“My girlfriends and I were bar-hopping for St Patrick's day and ended up at Stone Arch for dinner. Food was great and Drew, who was bartending, and waiting on tables was awesome! Attentive, smiling, provided great service and was just great all-around!“
“Cimarron has amazing food! The steaks on Saturday nights are phenomenal and reasonably priced. The broasted chicken is some of the best I've ever had. The Friday night fish fry is unbelievably good. The staff has all been there for years and are a great group of people. The atmosphere is very much like a supper club. Which is surprising because if you go into the bar you would never know. There's a huge dining room and back. I can't say enough good things about this place.“
“The quality of food and value of this place is unmatched anywhere in the valley these days. The French dip was without a doubt, the best I’ve ever had, and my wife’s Ruben was equally as amazing. The picture below speaks for itself. Where else do you get a sandwich like that with fries for $10?“
“We hosted a family member’s birthday party in the private rooms upstairs & had such a great experience! Our server, Brooke, was so kind & attentive the entire night. Jeff also went above and beyond to ensure everyone had what they needed. Food & drinks were great as always!! Thank you for making the night special!“
“Loved the ambiance and unique features! Food was excellent and menu had many delicious options. The owner checked on us and was extremely attentive that we were pleased with our dining experience! Will definitely go back! Great for a date night or a group outing! Very impressed and would love dining in nice weather as they have outdoor seating on the Riverfront!“
“Food is usually good but custard is not worth it. Very skimpy when it comes to toppings and mix ins. I got the toffee expressi flavor of the day in a concrete mixer and had maybe 6 pcs of the cake, no Carmel swirl and 3 pcs of heath. It was mainly an expresso milkshake. I was so dissatisfied. It’s happened a lot lately. Will go else where for ice cream next time“
“Always GREAT FOOD!!! Service is always good whether you are there or taking carry out. Cook recommended a sauce with my Turkey club and tried and he was SPOT ON!!! FOOD A+ Service A+!!! Great Atmosphere and fun place to have drinks and hang with “
“We come from Stevens Point to visit my brother once a month and discovered this restaurant. The broasted chicken is the BEST. The soups are fabulous. The staff is excellent. The prices are very reasonable. If you are in town make this your go to place for good home cooking.“
“Thanks to the George’s staff for making our 50th anniversary celebration so special. They were accommodating, attentive to our invited guests, courteous, and efficient. The food was delicious and well presented. A very memorable evening. Thanks.“
“Absolutely the best Old Fashions and Friday Fish Frys around hands down! It does get extremely busy on Friday nights, so you do have to plan accordingly but the wait is well worth it! It is not a fancy place, but the food is reasonably priced consistently good, and the staff is great I highly recommend!!“
“I took my 93 year young mother to lunch with my niece. I was concerned that I would have issues because of her disabilities. The staff was very accommodating.I enjoy the char-grilled burgers. My mother had soup and enjoyed her lunch out.“
“I got there a little too late and they were done with wings but the bartender Nikki was so nice. She turned the fryer back on and made me some of the best wings I've ever had at a bar. I used to cook bar food so that says something. I worked in the service industry for many years. The wings were perfect and the service was outstanding. Nikki is an awesome bartender and she made my night when I thought I was out of luck, but she came though with great food and great service. Thanks Nikki. Please give this lady a raise.“
“Stopped in to try this place out. I ended up just having a basic burger. The menu is small but the alcohol selection is very favorable! Friendly service and food served fast as it was a slow time. I believe if it were to be busy make time to wait and have a drink.. was good ..try for yourself!“
“I am not a baked Mac and cheese guy in the least... But this place is A1. It was so good. I have a chicken bacon ranch (large size) + jalapeno and my wife had the memphis one with pulled pork. Home runs. Even the kids meal grilled cheese was great. Nice buttery bread (definitely didn't steal any from my child hah).I would absolutely eat here again.“
“Very interesting place, very neat atmosphere. Got my lunch to go but wished I could have stayed and eaten at the bar. The burger was excellent, so good in fact I even ate it though they didn't put any ketchup in the bag. I find it very very hard to eat a burger with out ketchup, but I was too far away when I noticed and gave it a go. And it was excellent. The fries were very good to but sure wanted ketchup ?“
“I've never been inside. But, I order from them ALOT off Doordash! They ALWAYS get my orders right! Love the cheese curds, love the philly cheese sandwich, love the double cheeseburger. This place is inexpensive, delicious, and the staff ROCKS for doing so great. Love, love love!!! Keep up the awesome work! Give these people all raises!!“
“If you like to dine in or take out Leap In has a great selection of pizza and bar food, also the fish and seafood dinners are delicious ? Now if it is pizza you want, i suggest Bobbi's bacon chicken ranch pizza, it's the best choice, the pizza fries are yummy too!!! Enjoy ?“
“We picked the Granary for my Birthday dinner based on feedback from friends that live in the area.It proved to be a good recommendation. Being a Thursday night the place wasn't crowded and we could be seated immediately. The atmosphere here is very welcoming and we enjoyed a delicious meal complete with Brandy Alexandars for dessert. This is a stop we will be sure to make again when we are in the area. Extremely cozy dining with exceptionally friendly staff! Thanks again!“
“Real friendly, loved the fish-best that my fiancée and I have had, waitress made sure we always had drinks, one friendly guy(lol), the regulars make u feel comfortable and welcome. We will definitely go back to visit this place if we get back there.“
