This place took my request seriously and made me the most delicious Gluten Free breakfast I’ve had in a very long time!! And instead of GF bread I ordered gluten free pancakes! So yummy!!! “Birthday dinner for my 8YO daughter. Shout out to the entire staff at Wonita Sushi Seafood and Bar. They were super patient with the kids, waiter was awesome and even brought an extra dessert after simply noticing my daughter looking with envy at her brothers choice. Then waiting for the bill, the host (manager/owner?) noticed the kids eyeballing the lobster tank and he pulled up a stool for them to get a better look. He explained to the kids the growth rate of lobsters and we explained it was my daughters birthday dinner. Walking to the car, he chased us into the parking lot and gave her a special birthday stuffed animal. I honestly don’t think I’ve ever been this impressed with service. Especially as it was just another day to them, we didn’t mention the bday until leaving. We had planned a different place that is closed on Mondays. Glad we tried Wonita. They left a very favorable impression on both kids and they both said they want all future birthdays at Wonita!!”

“I went with some friends that came from out of town we got there around 7pm on a Friday we waited about 30 minutes to get our drinks and 15 minutes to even get waited on. They were understaffed which I figured for a Friday it would be better staffed my coffee was old so I asked for a fresh cup waited for it and it was horrible taste like it was old or the coffee machine needs to bed cleaned,our blooming onion was kinda burned the best thing I enjoyed”

“There are so many delicious varieties of loose leaf tea here both caffeinated and decaffeinated. They also will make a tea for you to-go. My two favorites are triple berry suite and pomegranate. Both are fruity black teas that are super delicious.”

I ordered the chicken parmesan & few more to go, and it was very tasty — the chicken was well cooked, crispy, and flavorful with a rich sauce and melted cheese. “I said I’d never eat sushi until I tried it for the first time at Katsuya in Studio City. I fell in love with the crispy rice tuna tartare 😋🍱 Until I had it at Wasabi!!! Things will never be the same. No restaurant can make it better!!! The Cali Crunch roll is a close second. This is hands down THE ONLY place I will eat sushi. The staff is amazing and we love to celebrate special occasions here🫶🏼🎊”

“my husband and I went there tonight for his birthday. the food was really good but I want to brag about Robert our server. He is the best server I have experienced in a long time. we never once had to flag him down to refill our soda. If we blinked we would miss him putting a fresh basket of bread out for us. Our empty plates never sat on our table for long before Robert walked by and swooped them up. kudos to Bravo! for hiring Robert. I would definitely come back if I was guaranteed him as my server. “We had a buffet lunch at Bullwinkle’s May 2, 2025, to celebrate my wife’s life. There were about 60 guests. Everything was excellent! It was more than expected. The food choices were great and the meal was outstanding. Management and staff treated us like members of their own families. They were not intrusive or hovering and provided loving care for this special occasion. They even allowed us to bring specialty desserts, for which they provided plates, utensils and carry-out containers. It was very reasonably priced. I was so impressed that I am posting this on several websites. In addition to all the superlatives above, I would rate them 5 out of 5 stars – higher! Did I say exemplary? Most highly recommended. “I only order the "Jalapeno Popper" from Mac's in Brookfield. Over half the time I order it they don't put in any jalapenos or they put in next to none. How hard is it to properly make this dish? It is super hard to add jalapenos to the JALAPENO popper? After the 3rd order it happened I brought it back. The manager stated, I quote, "There are jalapenos all up in there" while pointing to two small pieces in the ENTIRE DISH. Done wasting my time and money with this location that can't make a simple Mac and Cheese. Pathetic.”

Customer service was responsive—when tomatoes were mistakenly added to my order despite a clear request for none, the issue was corrected quickly and without attitude. That kind of accountability matters.

The food itself was good—well-prepared, satisfying, and consistent with brand expectations. I would return based on flavor alone.

That said, execution separates good from great. Drink service lagged noticeably, which disrupted the flow of the meal. While there were no heavily soiled tables, some surfaces had crumbs and should have been wiped down more proactively. Even during slower moments, clean tables are part of the presentation. Ambience is silent marketing.

One key observation: the young lady preparing our food stepped away from the line to handle another task and returned without changing gloves. In today’s climate, guests are highly aware of sanitation standards. Glove changes aren’t optional—they’re visual reassurance.

Overall, this was a good experience with strong potential. Tighten up drink timing, reinforce glove protocol, and stay sharp on table maintenance, and this location can easily move from good to standout. Fair critique. Respect where it’s due.”

“Everything was made well and cooked perfectly. It was our first time trying the Shack chicken sandwich and it was seasoned just right, juicy and crispy. Also, tried the cheese fries. 😋 When we learned SS was out of the peppermint bark shake (how I don't know? Do you run out of peppermint?), the young lady at the counter was apologetic. I tried the sticker toffee and my granddaughter had a Christmas cookie shake. They were very tasty! Friendly faces were abundant, too. When we encounter that kind of service, we go back. 😃”
