I have grown up eating here and it’s the only place we get Chinese takeout from when I’m home visiting my parents. Super affordable and always solid. Kung pao chicken, broccoli and chicken, and shrimp chop suey sub gum are favorites.
Went for lunch and the food was very good except the egg foo young was very salty. Our waitress rushed us, packing our food up into doggie bags before we were ready. Also, when we questioned our bills (we had separate checks), the waitress told us that she added the tip onto the bill. If you're going to do that, you should note that on the menu or place it separately on the bill and not include it in each item listed on the check. This, to us, was a scam to get a double tip.

Coffee with Pips visited Emperor's Kitchen on April 16th, 2024 This restaurant is located on the second level of an above-average retail space. The big windows overlook a large parking lot surrounded by several upscale businesses, including Kopp's Frozen Custard, which is a must-go place when visiting Wisconsin.
