“A Cumberland coffee gem! Weekend travelers beware: Roots is not open on Sunday. This building was formally Idlewild, which was a previous hiking / outdoor store that had since transformed into a full coffee house over the past 2-years. The former structure and wooden floors still exist, however, the space had been revamped in the most positive way where I enjoy every visit. The customer service is always welcoming and there is usually a fresh case of pastries and goodies. I have even seen the owner mixing ingredients in her cooking area which only adds to the freshness you get with every purchase. There are two small exterior tables for when the weather is nice and then the inside is super spacious with free Wifi along with two larger rooms with rustic decor. From teas to blended coffee drinks - this one is the real deal in the town of Cumberland. Totally cozy vibes. Enjoy!“

“The best coffee/food spot I've ever been to. So many different options and every single item I've had was a 10/10. The staff is so kind and patient. I went in there with a few friends and we took awhile to figure out what we wanted and ordered a lot and unlike some places they gave us no attitude and were just happy to help. I also love their coffee bean section and that they'll grind it for you.
