“We went this past sat with friends. 5 of us had drinks plus food. Were in no hurry and susie was busy.. former owner. Tamtam. (TAMMY) also off duty stepped in. We had so much fun. Plus the burgers were stellar. We all.loved our food ham n cheese plus the bacon burger roll ups. We got a couple great songs from susie. We cant wait to visit again. I'd say go. 5 of us plus drinks under 70.00. Run there and support your local small town establishment. I hope they remember us when we return. My mouth is already watering for a burger.“

“This place is a neat little pizza restaurant on the north end of Lodi that kicks out solid, traditional Wisconsin-style pizza. It's clearly popular. I went on Friday night, got there at 5:00 pm on the nose, and it was already crowded. They had a wedding rehearsal dinner going, so that was half the place full, but every table was taken so my wife and I had to sit at the bar. We got one of their HUGE garlic pretzels as an appetizer. It came out hot and fresh, and it was one of the better pretzels I've ever had. It was bready and fulfilling. On the menu it says it feeds 1-3 people, but I'd lean more toward the three than the one. It was massive. The kitchen was deep in the weeds when we ordered (probably thanks to the large party that was there for the wedding rehearsal), so it took over an hour and ten minutes for us to finally get our pizza. Normally, this would be a big knock against them in the rating department, but I feel like this wasn't a standard Friday night for them. To be fair, the place never emptied the entire time we were there. The second someone left, there was another party ready to take their table, so the locals clearly knew what's up. The pizza we got had a cracker-thin crust, and the toppings and cheese crowded all the way to the edge. It was tasty and worth going back for more. It was the type of bar pizza you crave as a good Wisconsinite. All in all, other than the prolonged wait for the pizza, this was a solid outing. I hope they have a lot of success because this place is on the verge of being a destination spot for a good Wisco-style pizza.“

“The Frog Pond has become our go-to for a consistently good Fish Fry and great burgers, We try to go every month for the burger of the month, which are always unique and an amazing deal at $7.50. This month was a "Benny Burger" - fresh hamburger patty, ham, fried egg, and Hollandaise. We weren't sure we would like it but it was delicious. If you haven't been here yet give it a try, it's truly a hidden gem for good food.“

“I almost didn't want to leave a review of Busse's in an effort to keep this place the local gem it is. If cozy dive bar with is your jam, you're going to love this place. The cherry on top is that you can order food from Zippy Lube (one of the best chicken sandwiches and mashed potatoes in Madison) from the bar and they will deliver it to you. If you're not in the mood for chicken, Busse's has great pizzas that they make and freeze themselves. All of this - AND friendly staff. Shout out to Lopez, who has always been happy, friendly, and a fabulous bar tender!“
