“North Shore Chophouse is phenomenal. We arrived for our 6:15 PM reservation on a Saturday night, and we were seated immediately. The hostess was extraordinarily friendly and welcoming. Our server was superb, and our excellent cocktails were delivered promptly. The lobster bisque was excellent and served piping hot. The entrees were superb, the filet medallions and the salmon. For dessert it was the chocolate chip cookie and ice cream. You need to try this place, not your typical Wisconsin supper club!”

“What a great place taking you back into the 1950's era. The food is excellent. the prices so reasonable, everything's fresh, what more could be fairer....Portions are large, a very cosy atmosphere. My son, girlfriend and myself just enjoyed it so much today. She had the Belgium waffle and said it was the best Belgium waffle she's ever had and she's had a lot of them. Scottie's make their own batter. Waffle just so soft and moist. We'll be back. My son comes here and told us about it and we finally made it. “There are several dining establishments in this semi-rural county that I like but this one has a warmth and ambience that can’t be beat anywhere in Southern Wisconsin. The food is not fancy but always good. Today I stopped by for a solo lunch — spicy black bean burger with blue cheese, veggies and chips. There’s always at least one cold brew on tap that rounds out my food experience. Long tables accommodate groups or facilitate making new friends. Most of the time though I’m drawn in the evening for dinner and music. The back room has been known statewide and beyond for decades, as a (somewhat bohemian) destination for audiences and performers. The genre is often folk or singer-songwriter but ranges beyond. We’ll-known artists sometimes have the Carpe on their calendar. Owner/chef/performer Bill Camplin delivers witty introductions for the acts when not performing himself. Sign up early with Kitty for a choice seat. Music lovers owe themselves a visit to this casual and intimate establishment.”

“10-62 is one of the best bars! The bartenders are always nice and knowledgeable about drinks and specials. You're treated like a respected guest as soon as you walk in, unlike many bars. You can't beat the atmosphere, from the bartenders, the decor, the music and the cleanliness.”

“The biggest part of their business is carry out and delivery but they also have tables inside to eat there if you like. We choose to eat on site.It was clean, neat and casual.The menu was excellent. Lots of choices and priced reasonable for todays standards. I had a delicious in house roasted prime rib sandwich with good fries.My friend had one of the best mac and cheese dishes shes eaten out. It was very creamy with lots of cheese flavor.My sister had the 1/2 # burger of day which was also well prepared and delicous. We will for sure come back and try some other dishes on their large and varied menu. The hot coffee was good as it was cold outside.”

“Lots of overnight parking. 0700 appointment for unloading. Guard woke me up at 0500 to assign me a door to unload. Less than 30 minutes later I was on the road. Nice people there. Parking lot is super clean, no trash anywhere.”
