“I have visited this bar and grill in Fox Lake, WI, three times now. The last visit was for the purpose of having the Friday Night Fish Fry. A good variety of fish dinners was offered; I selected the perch dinner. It was served quickly and was just as I expected. The owner and server were both courteous and appreciative of my business. I will be back!“

“For a smaller business they do a great job. It's good home cooked meals. The only time we had to wait a while is when there is large groups in there. It's a nice quite place to relax and enjoy conversations with other people. Everything is made fresh, it's not sitting in warmers. We'll keep going back there.“

“Loved this place. I got lost and missed my exit. GPS took me through Fox Lake. I saw this drive in and it reminded me of the drive ins from my youth. I stopped for a cheeseburger, fries and a root beer float. It was so good--took me right back to my teen years. It was heavenly. Turned on the 70s music, savored my burger and fries and thoroughly enjoyed my root beer float. My server was delightful. She was cute as a button and had a great smile. I will definitely "get lost" again in Fox Lake for another blast from the past!!“

“We had fish and smoked wings tonight and I am SO happy we tried this place out! As a good chef myself it is often times hard to find places worth spending our money on, but not this place. The wings were so amazing we are going to place a large order sometime in the near future. The fish (dry breading) was phenomenal! It wasn't greasy like some places are. Thoroughly enjoyed this place and will most definitely be back again soon!“

Their perch exceeded my expectations. “We were shopping at Warehouse 151 and spent too much time shopping, so we decided to grab a bite before heading home. There's not much to look at from the outside, but don't let that stop you! This place is a gem! Cute diner vibe. Prompt seating, extremely fast service and HUGE portions for around $10-12. Most everything comes with soup or salad and a side. You just can't beat it. It's a must stop.“

“I've had ALOT of mushroom swiss burgers in my life but the 1 i had Wednesday nite was THE best I've ever had. Sooooo many yummy mushrooms on the burger u cud barely c the burger. The fries were awesome 2 n the prices were great!! Definitely going there 4 some more!!“

“Walking in I get a little out of place as the entry leads to a bar area, which was quite busy with locals from the feel of it. The dining area is small but insulated a bit from the bar area and noise. The food was lovely and our waitress was on top of every detail. That attention to detail and taste of the food made up for the more relaxed bar feel of the place.“

“Love this pub! Darren and his staff are hard working and attentive. The food is awesome (gotta try the wings and burgers) and they have a good assortment of beverages. Darren in particular has a large knowledge of different cocktails and drinks making him one of the only professional mixologists i've ever met.“

“The people behind the counter were litterally arguing over who was going to have to take our order. The food is pretty good. Each time I go, it can be a hit and miss regarding the quality of food. When We order online sometimes and it always seems my order gets messed up some how.This last time, there were some really loud annoying kids in there, which made it quite unpleasant.I will continue to eat here, just wish they were a little more courteous and quicker to help take orders. There's always people just standing behind the counter when there are people waiting to order.“

My wife and I went on a Wednesday night and we pretty much had the place to ourselves; I was disappointed by this because I have no idea why more people wouldn’t be at such a good place even in the middle of the week. I’ve seen way worse places way more busy, if people want nice places around they need to go to them and support them! Oh and the salad bar was the best I’ve seen!“
