It doesn't get much better than Kopp's for delucious burgers, fries, malts and custard. The burgers are huge and they don't skimp on the toppings. If you dare get a double burger, you best be hungry or plan on having leftovers.
Pretty expensive, but I find the food is tasty. Went here once a year or so with family growing up, no complaints and the custard is definitely one to try. It's often a bit crowded, but it has a unique atmosphere, hard to pin down in words.

I love frozen custard and as a recent transplant to the Midwest, I've been reveling in the opportunities to enjoy it more as it's not widely available on the East Coast. I was visiting Milwaukee for a day, and all the guides said you have to go to Kopp's! I got there in the mid-afternoon and it was busy; you can tell it's always busy.
