The best there’s nothing in town that can top their tacos
Very authentic Mexican restaurant specializing in the popular dishes of Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico. The famous 'Torta Ahogada' is on the menu, the crown jewel of the Tapatios. The sauce is not as spicy as the sauce of the tortas ahogadas of Guadalajara, and the bread is not the same due to Green Bay's much lower elevation and stronger humidity, but they make due with what they got and make an incredible product. Their sauce is unique, pork tender, and bread soft. Salsa is outstanding, chips have a real corn flavor, and guacamole very rich. Estrella Jalisco beer available, as well as mixed drinks from Jalisco. Birria tacos of the California style have great flavor and should be tried also. Service very welcoming and genuine. El Carreta is Guadalajara without having to go all the way to Guadalajara.
