“It's hard to tell what was better, the food or the service! The barbacoa quesadilla was so good I inhaled it before having the chance to take a picture. Juicy, packed full of flavor and meat, perfectly balanced. Generous portions and very reasonable prices. Friendly staff, and that food comes out hot, fresh, and fast.10 out of 5 stars. If you drive past this place, you'd best circle back and get some food. Seriously, it will make your day. It sure made mine.“
“This spot is fire and so is the OG spot La Carreta on the east side. This place is a birria specialized spot and it's a damn shame there are people coming here expecting Taco Bell options or comparing prices to tacos sold in actual Mexico. What in the actual F? Common sense has left the building.... BUT YOU HAVE ENTERED THE BUILDING AND ARE ABOUT TO HAVE A GOOD TIME!! Elote is good, birria and quesabirria are fire. They also have churros! They offer tamale now and again. Follow their Facebook to see when uncommon items are available. Also the woman who typically is running the register is gorgeous.“
“This is my favorite place for high end tacos in a casual environment. Decent drinks too. When I was there last time, they were very responsible about seating. They left some tables open because they were understaffed that night. To me, that's always a positive sign.“
“I ordered online from La Carreta for the 1st time today. I had to try the quesabirria tacos based off the reviews. They did not disappoint. The meat was tender, topped generously with onions and cilantro, and the broth had good flavor. They also came with limes and hot sauce which is a must for me. The hot sauce was a little disappointing since it seemed more like something you'd get from a bottle as opposed to authentic, but it didn't take away from how good the food was. The staff was friendly immediately when I walked in, and my order was ready right when I received a text saying it was. The atmosphere of the place seemed good. I will definitely be going back again, to dine in with the family.“
