One of our favorite stops! Kevin and his family owned business making dining a welcome experience in the Green Bay Area. You'll feel at home in the "backwoods" type atmosphere and local flare. The menu provides a great variety from kid choices, to appetizers, burgers, steak and so much more. You can go for a casual bite or a more high end experience if you'd like. Also, highly recommend the Sunday Brunch! Be sure to notice the smells when you walk in from the old school style fire place just before you enter!Kid-friendliness: Kid menus available.
Average waite service and the price is average to high for the Green Bay area.We've been going here for about 17 years.Last year we had a bad experience with the food.We normally go here on valentine's weekend, we're all looking forward to trying it out Feb. 2024.I revised my rating. The food was bland. A lot of our group ordered the Saturday steak prime rib special. The ones who ordered it was disappointed. No Flavor or one said it was like eating a plain ol roast.My ribs were very good. But the ribs were shaved to the bone. All the meat was between the bones ended up with little meat. So it was not worth the money.The ones who ordered the pasta was ok with the meal.Next year we may try a different place.
Loved Mackinaws Grill! Food's always been great there! Server's have always been amazing and friendly! Whether I've eaten there or gotten orders TO GO it's been quick and not long wait time's! Price's are comparable to other good restaurants in the Green Bay area!Parking: Been ok for a busy restaurant!
First time visit, was very impressed! I tried a little of everyone's plate to sample multiple dishes and they all impressed me.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Mackinaws Grill & Spirits and I have to say, it was a fantastic experience. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm and inviting atmosphere that made me feel like I was at a cozy cabin in the woods.The decor was rustic and charming, with wooden beams and a fireplace that added to the overall ambiance. It was the perfect setting for a casual lunch or a romantic dinner.But let's talk about the food. I ordered the pulled pork sandwich and I was blown away by how delicious it was. The meat was tender and flavorful, and the BBQ sauce was the perfect balance of sweet and tangy. The sandwich came with a side of crispy fries that were cooked to perfection. I also tried some of their house-made pickles and they were a delightful addition to the meal.The service at Mackinaws was exceptional. Our server was friendly and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed throughout our meal. The staff seemed genuinely passionate about the food and the restaurant, which only added to the overall experience.I also appreciated the variety on the menu. While I went for the pulled pork sandwich, there were plenty of other options to choose from, including burgers, salads, and seafood. I will definitely be returning to try some of their other dishes.Overall, I would highly recommend Mackinaws Grill & Spirits. I just ordered to go tonight, I ordered a perch dinner and a cup and bowl of chicken dumpling soup. I got a walleye dinner and cup and bowl of clam chowder..lmao. I mean the food was pretty dang good! But how do you get both things completely wrong? I’ll be back but I’ll be opening my food to make sure from now on.
