Great take out pizza spot in Green Bay. We love wood fired pizza so finding this hidden gem was awesome. The ingredients were fresh, cheese and sauce were evenly distributed, and quality of freshness was top notch. Would definitely recommend checking it out. Finally got to Pepperboy Pizza, a relatively new joint in Geebs. After some frustration trying to order online, I just called in my order, the Nutty Italian, walnut pesto base with salami, pepperoni, onion and red pepper.Delicious!These are cooked in a wood fired oven and the crust was fabulous. There were a few spots that got pretty dark, but they were where the crust bubbled and they were the best part (of the crust). The pesto sauce was subtle, part of me wanted a little more, but I also liked that it wasn't overwhelming... The toppings were plentiful and delicious, substantial chunks of meat and veggies. Really good cheese.Three is no dining room, it is pick up or delivery only. I picked up, the spots are flagged (literally) and they run your pie out to you.You can get a pie however you want, but they have a lot of specialties that are not the same old, same old.I will be going back and trying more!
We ordered pesto pizzas. I like the unique idea, but didn't care for the pizza and the crust was not cooked all the way. The pesto seemed like all oil and nuts. I didn't taste or see any greens/basil. Maybe the red sauce is better.
