“Okay, so this is going to be a LONG review lol.My husband and I come up to Greenlake Wisconsin every single year from Florida. I am a Wisconsinite native and I moved to Florida 7 years ago. The FIRST thing we do when we drive into GreenLake is stop here and say hello to the owner and her daughter I believe!! Sooo precious!!! We absolutely LOVE IT HERE.Trevor and I come in EVERY SINGLE MORNING when we’re there and he gets a black dark roast and I get my large pumpkin spice with EXTRA pumpkin ? ??The customer service is UNBELIEVABLE we just love everyone there! We also always look forward to seeing the regular that comes in every morning and we sit and chat with him about fishing and such. It is being back home that just hits us right in our feels. The food is incredible, definitely recommend the cinnamon rolls and Trevor recommends the apple strudels! This is the perfect place to get your day started, to have a best friend date, or to grab coffee on the go We will be there again soon! ”
“We stopped in on St Pattys day. Good thing we got there around 1pm. Jim and Nancy started to play at 2pm and they packed the house! Great mix of music they got many people singing and some even danced. Poor Alaina was the only bartender for a while and although she was hoofing it, she just couldn’t quite keep up. The bar was clearly under staffed. One bartender for a big St Pattys day crowd was poor staffing. A couple of locals and off duty bartenders helped her out by filling beer and washing glasses. Brittany showed up later and then the two of them were able to recover and maintain. Smash burgers were about 40% of the menu but we ordered pepperoni pizza. It was good. The bar was clean, they wiped it several times while we were sitting there. Patrons and staff were friendly. We bought tee shirts and hoodies. Well made, with nice colorful designs. It was a good experience.”
“I had a blast here last Sat. I was a dj who just got done with a wedding and no one else was open but this place. Super awesome people ... loud music.....fun bartender ( kinda cute!) And great pizza!”
“I had the chicken chili. It was delicious. They have a decent selection of beers beyond the usual swill that is served everywhere else. We shared a pizza. It was good. I didn't particularly care for the flavor of the sauce, but that is just a matter of personal taste. Everyone else seemed to really like it. The cheese was a little light for my liking, but again, everyone else was OK with it. There was a fair amount of toppings evenly distributed across the pizza. We ordered the meat special, which includes pepperoni, sausage and I forget what all else. The service was very good, not surprisingly because we were the only party in the dining area, but our server was very pleasant and friendly. My family got to talking to her about the change of ownership of the place and she had nothing but nice things to say about her bosses, the owners. All in all, it was a pleasant experience.I don't see the chicken chili on the list to recommend but I do recommend it. It is very tasty.”
“Saturday Prime rib night: Usually decent has fallen off some. The Prime ribs clearly tossed under the broiler for a moment to toast up were unusual but still tasty. Service is friendly and excellent. Shockingly empty for 6pm dinner!”
“Nice spot looking at Green Lake. We had the bacon wrapped scallops for an appetizer and the salty bacon completely overwhelmed the scallops. I had the Branzino and the olive and capers overwhelmed the sea bass. Both dishes were cooked perfectly.”
“food was so good! very limited menu which is great for people who can't make choices (like me). service was fine, it was somewhat slow and took about 10 mins for drinks. the inside was great! loved the set up of the restaurant!!”
“Blizzard last night and many restaurant options were closed. We saw that Murphy’s was open and we walked over. We wanted to give them little leeway because they were short staffed. WOW! Dinner was fantastic. We had guacamole and chips. Guacamole was fresh and chunky with avocado. Walleye fish fry was perfect with marbled rye and potato pancakes. Burger was handmade, thick and juicy. Not a premade patty. Service was friendly and attentive. They knocked it out of the park.”
“We called ahead and grabbed 4 de-lish sub combos to go on Labor Day weekend. Bread is awesome and combos of meats, cheeses and veggies are on point. Super fresh. Chief John and the Club were our faves.”
“El Charro Mexican Grill is by far the best restaurant we have ever been to. Benny and his entire staff are simply the best! They are friendly, very personable, quick and make you feel like family. Not only is the service top-notch, their prices are low and the serving sizes are huge. We never leave hungry but make sure to always leave room for dessert. May I suggest you try the deep fried ice cream, it’s excellent! Again, Benny and his staff are phenomenal, this is why our family looks forward to coming back every week! Thanks you guys! Rich and Julie”
“Have had the New Pizza the last 2 Tuesdays and it is very good !!! We have been getting the thin crust deluxe and subbing out the black olives for green. They really load it up and everything is out to the edge where it belongs. This is a must try !!!”
“A lovely coffee shop we stopped at on a Sunday before brunch. The coffee was great. Atmosphere was wonderful. Family friendly if you do bring kids. Plenty of space. Interesting food menu if a quick healthy bite is desired.Vegetarian options: There are vegan options if needed. We spilt the gouda bell pepper soup with our coffee.Kid-friendliness: A few kids were there doing homework or reading a book while the parents sipped on their cuppa joes. There are kid friendly beverage options.”
“This was our first time trying J's and it didn't let us down. They were very helpful with the menu explaining the options. When I asked about the Cole slaw they offered a sample. The brisket had a great "crust" with lots of peppery flavor. Was pretty lean which I like. Cole slaw didn't have dairy and uses a mustard sauce which I'm a big fan of. Didn't try the beans or sauces so can't comment there.Dietary restrictions: When I asked about dairy in the Cole slaw the answer came back quick and the cook even came out to ask if I needed help with anything else on the menu including what had egg. Super cool!I'm sure it was easier because it wasn't overly busy. But it made for an excellent experience. Thank you!”
“We live an hour away and wanted to check out Dickens of a Christmas. The Public House was packed and it was a litle chaotic with all of the people, but all of the staff there patient and didn't even seem the slightest bit flustered and still managed to provide great service. We had a great experience and the food was great, too!”
“Amazing breakfast and great service. Traveling from out of town and wanted to get a quick bite to eat. We had the biscuits and gravy (hands down the best we've had in a while), pancake, french toast, and other items. Great diner.”
“We had lunch at The Pie Shack while shopping in Berlin on a cool Friday afternoon. Got their just before the noon rush and were seated promptly. Wife had a coffee ( she said it was EXCELLENT ) and I had a Pepsi. I had the Philly Cheese Steak with baked beans and wife had cheese burger with fries. Food arrived quickly and very generous portions. Everything was done just right and the baked beans were delicious. Our server was very friendly and stopped back several times to make sure all was well. They have pie by the slice or the entire pie and my wife took a slice home of her favorite ( lemon morang ) and she said it was pefect. Nice atmosphere and very inviting. We will return soon and try their breakfast. THANK YOU FOR A NICE LUNCH !!!!!!!!”
“What a pretty winery. Wood fired pizza's and the FRESHEST salads ever, all home grown veggies. Delightful. Pizza had the best crunch and done to perfection. The wines were good, the front porch so comfortable and the waitstaff excellent.”
“You would expect great bar food, which they have but also prime rib that was delicious and roasted to perfect! I also loved the mashed potatoes and coleslaw as well. Highly recommend you stop in on prime rib nights.”
“I absolutely LOVE this place! The food is always fresh, amazing, and delicious!! You never have to wait long, they are super efficient and the staff is always friendly!!”
“After living in Berlin for 2 years I finally decided to try Jeff’s. Best old fashioned I’ve had in a long time. Great option for kids and the split pea soup is to die for! Also the staff is wonderful! Can’t wait to try everything on the the menu!”
“Very expensive for what you get. The eggs benedict is extremely overpriced. The ham slice is so thin we just laughed when we looked. The eggs weren't poached and very little hollandaise sauce on it. The hash browns vitus be tripled. It's a potato, they're not expensive. I did not recommend this place but I can't change it. The staff were very friendly though.”
“we had custom cookies done for our sons Teletubbies themed birthday, and they turned out SO adorable!! they were absolutely delicious and well designed. they look just like the Tubby Toast!! we will definitely be a returning customer!”
“Great service and amazing food with large portions and reasonable prices. Our orders came quickly, and our server was friendly and professional. Would highly recommend to others, and we will be going there again.”
“Food was awesome!! I got the Philly wrap and it was phenomenal and my daughter got the cheeseburger, which was cooked perfectly and was very yummy. Definitely recommend if you're in the area or even paying through. Worth a stop! They've got darts and pool, a claw machine and slot games ”
“I'm not from around here. I was staying at the hotel across the street, and here for business purposes. I did not want to venture far, and noticed this place. From a distance, at 530pm it looked closed. Checked around online for other places close by and Google said this place was open. I'm so glad it was open and I got to experience this place! I spent $13 on just myself and got 2 burgers, fries and their homemade root beer. I'm here writing this review in a some what satisfying comatose state. This food was excellent and I'm sad I live 6 hours away from it. I want to try everything. (Are it too quickly, no time for pictures)”
“We popped in here on a recent visit to nearby Fox Lake. Great little Wisco brewery gem! KBC offers a wide selection of crafted beers. I got a 6-beer flight and all were good. Standout beers included the Citra Spice IPA, Knuth Classic lager, and the Blue Eyed Blonde ale. Bartenders were welcoming and explained what's available. They have a kitchen. The wood fire pizza was amazing, great accompaniment to the beers. Wings need some work. Great homey vibe with lots of local folks hanging out. Very family friendly - my kids enjoyed our meal. Definitely be in for a visit next time we're in the area.Kid-friendliness: Board games available. Very family friendly vibe, menu, and seating.”
“Been there a couple times and will continue to go there. Sandwiches are great and so were all the different salads they sell. So happy there is a place like this since and workers are very nice too.”
“This is the place to be. My other half had to run and was going to come back to pick me up. They boxed his food offered to keep it warm and let me sit there till he got back. Amazing people ❤️”
“They definitely make a profit but this tradition so I'll spend $40 on bakery every time :D Cashier doesn't do small talk. Just takes money and on to the next person”

“I've been to other Christiano's. They've always been excellent. This one is no exception. The thin crust pizza is the best, and their garlic bread is perfect. The view of Green Lake in the distance is beautiful.”
