“Dean and Sue, the owners, are terrific. The bar staff is still trying to keep up after 15 years of ownership. They are great as well, BTW. This place is the true Milwaukee corner bar. I am from the panhandle of Florida so I know about Fried Chicken. This place has an awesome fried CHICKEN PLATE. The difference is also how the atmosphere is. “It was our first meal after flying all day. We ordered the hot garlic wings (extra crispy), French fries and a side salad. As far as flavor, the wing sauce was unique and tasty. The hot sauce had a sweet tang to it but had the kick from the red peppers. The fries were so crispy and the croutons for the salad was great.As far as “best wings ever”- not so much. The wings weren’t crispy and we asked for all flats, which they couldn’t do. But they gave us more drums than flats which was disappointing.Other than that, not a bad experience. The server was nice and friendly.“

“The wings, the drinks, the DJ, the staff and the weekly specials is what brings me to a new spot and keeps me coming back. This place has all of that and more. We are always greeted right away even though I see some regulars. We don’t get treated any different, the food is always hot so when I wait I know it’s because the chef is cooking it the right way.they have weekly specials like margarita Mondays, wing Wednesdays, tenderoni (chicken tenders)Thursdays, fish fry Fridays, and Saturday and Sundays are specials on micheladas and mimosas.“
“Heaven was easily the GREATEST bartender I think I’ve EVER came across in my time of drinking and going to different bars around the country. I can’t believe how nice she is and how fast she moves around the bar. Most bartenders ignore people for a bit of time before getting to them but she not only got to me and everybody else faster than I’ve seen in the longest time but she also was able to hold conversation and able to do her job at the same time. I was there for Opening Day yesterday and literally every staff member was so kind and had smiles on their faces despite all of the chaos going on. “We came in on a Friday night with 3 kids wanting to bowl. The person helping us, Jim, was attentive and friendly, helping us with shoes, drinks and more. We arrived around 9:30 and the kitchen was unfortunately closed so maybe next time we will get to try the pizza, as Jim told us how good it is. This is a family establishment that is clearly working hard to renovate the place as they've updated all the lanes, computer systems, down to the bowling shoes. We loved it, had a great time and will be back!“
“I made my first visit to O’Brien’s and loved it. Laid back, fun atmosphere, nice owner, and Chaz, an excellent server. We ordered Guinness (of course), the Mac and cheese and a burger. The food was delicious. This is a new favorite place and we’re definitely going back!“
“Stumbled upon this place while in Milwaukee for work. It is located not far from my airport hotel. Great neighborhood bar with a lot of locals. Talked to several, and they were all very friendly. The bartender, Erin, was very friendly, fast service, and liked to smile and joke around a little. Drinks were good, and the prices were too. I ordered a pizza around 9pm. Came out in a reasonable amount of time and was better than expected. Will definitely stop back in next time I'm in town.Vegetarian options: A few options for vegetarians. “Fourth-N-Long has great pizza and wings. I’ve been here a few times with family and I’m never disappointed. This past weekend we put or brother to rest and had the after gathering here. The staff and service were excellent. We had the bottom floor to ourselves and it gave us a cozy atmosphere to reminisce. The bar was right upstairs if anyone needed a stronger spirit than what our hostess and host provided. Everyone had a great time and a few lingered afterwards. I recommend stopping to find true comfort food too.“
“Have been to West Allis location about five times in the last six weeks. Fresh Motz app is awesome love the tomatoes and balsamic glaze. Cracker crust pizza both classic and portobello are great. Love the sausage patty style on the pizza. It does however seem like the sauce on the pizza has changed since the first few visits. Much more spicier now. I personally don't care for it but I know others prefer it. Service is always good“
“Loved this place. We snuck in there late on a Sunday (didn’t know anyone) and by the time we left we felt like family. It was my wife’s birthday and they couldn’t have made her feel more special. Everyone in the bar sang to her. Don’t forget to say Hi to the owner. What a little gem.“

“Easter Sunday and one of the few places I found open. I was out for a @WiscoMary Sunday Bloody Mary, and I was not disappointed. Magoo's has their own Tito's infused vodka with jalapenos, their own special Bloody Mary mix, their Worcestershire sauce includes dry rub seasoning. My bloody was served with a cheese curd, before stick, and olive . Connor was an excellent bartender/server. Definitely a great place to watch the game and have their delicious wings. Great staff, great atmosphere, great food.“
“Da Bar is a fun bar wth pleasant staff. The new bar up the street called Da Bar and Grill sells the food. Ive never tried the food there yet though. On sundays for football the owner has free buffets in back area from Rupena's which is a very nice gesture. Stage area in back for bands and party room to rent out if you want to host something there. Little dingy in back tbh could use a new floor as well but other than that its good. Owner is very kind and fun. Enjoy his gaming machines and looking forward to the shuttle bus starting this spring for Brewers baseball games.“
“Stopped in on a quite Sunday afternoon and were absolutely blown away! The bartenders were super friendly and service was very quick. The beer selection was diverse and the bar set up was unexpectedly beautiful. Now, the food is some of the best bar food I've had. My husband had the Patty Melt and stated that it contends for the best he has ever had. The grilled cheese came with unexpected but welcomed cheese curds. The fries were crisp and salted to perfection. I spent too many years living on that side of town and I'm kicking myself for never going before this week. Definitely a priority stop in the future!“

“1st time here to eat, usually here to drink…. The munchie basket, “combo basket” whatever it’s called was excellent, lots of food and great mix. We had Pizza for the main course . I was very impressed, great pizza, only problem I was so full after the basket I couldn’t eat as much as I wanted to! Excellent crust and fresh veggies, I was very surprised for a bar pizza! “Steny’s is a go-to for sports, their trivia is so fun, and I cannot think of a time I’ve been and it’s not been great. Bartenders and servers are super friendly, you do have to keep in mind that when it’s absolutely packed, there will be some small delays!Vegetarian options: They have a vegan chicken that’s really great to add and are so helpful making something vegan for me. “We attended an event in the conference room and had lunch at the restaurant afterward. Food was ok. We ordered the Philly cheese steak sandwich. It came quickly to the table and was hot . Ordered the haystack onions but the server shortly returned and we were told they ran out. Then we opted for the onion rings. They were a little overdone. Service was good. “Kid asked for fish fry so we did a take out order! After living near here for years, I was happy to finally set food inside! I could definitely cozy up with a drink or two there, but that wasn't in the plan tonight. My daughter liked her cod (enough that she ate it all and I didn't get to try it!), and my other daughter loved the bluegill. I did get to try that and thought it was really good! Seasoned well and crispy. I look forward to going back and trying some more food :) Do go for fish fry! Lots of options!“
