“June 2023...a steak buffet for $16.99?!?!?! Who can complain!Service was great, salad bar was good, and the steaks were cooked perfect.It's an 8 oz sirloin. If anyone has complained about this buffet I suggest you go to the grocery store, buy it all, and cook it yourself!!! “I had gone here several times with my sister, who lived near Baldwin. It was her favorite local place to eat. When she passed away last month, we all met at her house to get things squared away. At the end of the day, we decided to go to the Phoenix for supper. It was shortly after that when we decided to hold her celebration of life at their event center.I called Kristin, their event coordinator, and she explained our options for rooms, food, etc... She was very helpful and made sure we were considering everything we needed for our event. I felt confident going into the day, knowing at least our venue was ready. We had to bring our own flowers, centerpieces, and pastor, of course, but the Phoenix provided us with a beautiful room, comfortable seating and dining, a projector, screen and microphone, and delicious food afterward.I really can't say enough about how well we were treated and accommodated. It's not that we were super demanding, I don't think, but I really got the sense that they wanted this to be a memorable and stress-free experience, such as it was. Chelsea, our server/supervisor, did an amazing job of communicating with me when we needed more food ordered, and she ran the whole room by herself!Oh, and the prices were so reasonable for what we got. I doubt we will ever have an event here again, but I would highly recommend them because of what they did for us,“

“Went here for the first time the other night despite living in the area for half a decade. Boy were we missing out! Not a great selection of beer but the great food, laid-back atmosphere, chill vibe definitely make up for sparse beer selection. They also have a 3-hr happy-hour with drinks prices getting cheaper every hour until 6pm. And they deliver! This is going to be our new default spot for good meal!“

“Cute and cozy. Drinks weren't overly priced. (The husband thought $5.75 for a beer was outrageous) I had the lenie chicken wrap. My husband had a burger. We added fries and onion rings because they don't come with the sandwich. The food took a while to get to us but we weren't in a hurry. The staff was friendly. I really wish I would have tried the homemade soup though.“
