“Atmosphere and service was exceptional. Ribeye was very disappointing. Lack of seasoning. Ordered medium. Came out rare. Expected a better grade quality meat for $60. Paired with sidewinders… I love Sidewinder fries but not with steak. I would still recommend this place. Avoid the steaks.“
“This is a 4.5 star review. It’s the perfect pre or post dinner pit stop. They have a short menu so you can stay for dinner too. The bartenders are the best pros, very knowledgeable. Peter is outstanding- had a great time discussing wines and what’s in the cellar. He also shared a little education on Glenlivet. Prices reflect resort pricing- see the menu photos. This is a cozy atmosphere, great for groups, friends or couples. This book has all the elements of a special spot. Enjoy!“

“My wife and I like to treat ourselves to Michelin Star caliber restaurants for special occasions. The Immigrant Restaurant did not disappoint! Our servers--Angle and Cori--did a fantastic job of making us feel welcome, helped make recommendations, and let us feel like royalty for an evening. John--the sommelier--provided us with both great wine pairings and great conversation.I was hesitate to try the Pacific Sea Urchin dish, but gave it a shot at Angle's recommendation. I am so glad that I did! It was delicious, and the type of dish you can only find at a restaurant of this caliber. My wife enjoyed the five course vegetarian menu and I enjoyed the traditional five course menu. Both were great! But, with her getting different dishes, it did give me the chance to sample a whole other side of the menu. Thanks for the great experience!“

“First of all, the food is fantastic. My brother and I had the Chicken Sandwich and the Shrimp Po-boy. The chicken was juicy, the shrimp crispy, and the sauces chosen to pair were a perfect complement. You go down south for the same and it has that homey hole-in-the-wall kind of easy comfort, but what sets it apart is the choice of bun. I don't know if H&P makes their own from scratch, premade, or prepackaged, and I don't know what it is about Wisconsin, but we know how to pair all this goodness with the perfect carb.As to service, the workers I've dealt with are professional, friendly, and often knowledgeable about the other parts of Kohler waiting to be explored. I also like that I'm not constantly badgered. I was here to catch up with my brother and our conversation was rarely interrupted, but I also did not feel neglected. It's plain to see the pride Kohler puts into hiring and training charismatic hardworkers. The staff is definitely worth above and beyond the 20% tip.Lastly, atmosphere and ambiance. I like the cozy pub look, but it definitely is far from a normal pub ambiance. It's warm and buzzing. I don't think I've ever been here on a slow night. I like the food, I like the service, and I like bringing friends and family here for a casual night of reliably good food and drinks, except--and this is NOT H&P's fault--the one thing that is occasionally uncomfortable are the other customers. Every once in a while you'll get a weird vibe paired with a lingering gaze if you don't obviously match the normal Kohler standards, which is a strange double standard considering the number of non-Kohler people are employed in the kitchens, spa, and hospitality. I can't comment on the exact reason for the weird vibes I get off the other customers. I've met plenty of kind, down-to-earth people in Kohler, and I like to do my own thing because my business is mine and their business is theirs but it's been palpable enough on a number of occasions to comment on. There's really not much you can do about it except shrug it off.All in all, H&P is a great community staple. Don't let the occasional weird vibes deter you from treating yourself to good food and service.“

“We had dinner here last night. The food was amazing. We all said that their chef must be very creative with his/her menu! We will be back. I would highly recommend trying the appetizers when you go and we had a group of 5 and there was not one dish we didn't like!!! Great service and very friendly staff!!! Thank you so such a lovely evening. I left my credit card and rather than driving 2 hrs back they offered to mail it to me. I call that great customer service!!! Keep doing what you are doing and we will be back!!!!“

“Four of us dropped in at 5:30 on a Saturday night. Had no trouble grabbing a table. First timers. Cozy but not cramped. Subtle lighting but bright enough to be able to read the menu. Food choices are limited but varied. One person ordered onion rings which were the large and fat variety. Other items ordered were The pub burger and two southwestern chicken breast sandwiches and navy bean soup. We couldn't say enough good things about the food and the cocktails. Note: one of us ordered an Espresso Martini - the review was " One of the best cocktails I've ever had!" Beer choices are exceptional as well. Give this neighborhood corner bar a try. Friendly folks behind the bar and grill give this place the 5th star!!“

“4 of us went to Four of a Kind solely based on YELP Reviews. We were not disappointed! Reasonably priced Old Fashions. Well made cocktails. We ordered a variety of lunches - Pasty, "R" burger, chicken/bacon wrap and a perch dinner. Everyone was happy with their meal. How often does that happen?? An owner/partner came to our table several times to check on us. He gave us a bit of history on the parallel pasty company. We left completely satisfied. We'll be back!“

“Stopped by this restaurant to try it and I wasn't disappointed. The prices are very reasonable and the food was good. The portions are a good size also. The inside is a bit crowded, but that's a small price to pay for good food at a reasonable price.“

“My fiancé and I stopped in tonight for the first time. We will definitely be back. I’ve spent about 7 months of a pregnancy being repulsed by the idea of eating fish, and out of nowhere had the hankering today. The cod absolutely hit the spot & baby’s been kicking up a storm since I took my first few bites. The pieces are a good size, the beer batter is phenomenal. Good NA’s, good service, great food & atmosphere. We’re definitely going to be frequenting this spot.“

“The food is very good, but they only accept to go orders whenever the stars align, and door dash orders once a millennium. Would order it a lot more if they would accept to go orders more routinely. It’s a Tuesday during open hours and I can’t deliver “

“It was much better than the first time I was there a few years ago. Service was OUTSTANDING. I had the grilled spicy shrimp tacos. I liked them. It's not as good as others I've had. I think the ratio of coleslaw is too high. There was just something missing. The best shrimp tacos are Time Out in Manitowoc. I wish somewhere local could create them.“

“I had dinner at the Blackwolf Run with my wife on January 4. This was a memorable experience. All the dishes that we ordered were truly excellent, from the appetizers, to the main courses to the desserts. The chief is quite on target with his creations. We recommend the pork belly appetizer, chicken schnitzel and creme brulee brownie for dessert. Service and ambience to match the quality of the dishes. I most highly recommend.“
