“Last night I enjoyed a special event night out begining with a complimentry beverage at O2 Lounge (Home made Hot cocoa) Yumm! Our group boarded a very nice bus and headed to Grand Geneva for a beautiful tour of Christmas lights. We were also provided with the opportunity to exit the bus and capture memories with photos. Many beautiful settinings. I met some special people from the area that I was able to share memories with. Reminds me of a small town Christmas! None of this would have happened without Martin and Lindsey's hearts being so full to give to others. They and their family are very caring people. If you haven't stopped by the O2 Lounge in Lake Geneva, Stop by!”

“My fiancee and I traveled to Lake Geneva from North West Indiana for a few days and was looking for a great place for the Friday fish fry, with so many to choose from we narrowed it down on the type of atmosphere we were comfortable with, we love the little out of the way small home town bars so with alot of searching we agreed on The Owl. It was great! the Cod was amazing and I chose the loaded sweet potato and am still thinking about it, it was very good. The service was excellent and our bartender was more than awesome. The locals made us feel very comfortable we had great conversations with strangers. We highly recommend The Owl we will be going back in the fall and cannot wait to visit again. I wish I would of bought a hoodie. Lol...”

“The 3.7 Rating that I see, is NOT correct. I would give it 5 for for burgers and fries (only because I haven't tried everything on the menu...yet). The best burgers and fries! (Seriously!) burger was cooked medium well, just like we ordered. The fries were not too firm or too soft...perfect texture. Fries were lightly salted, and as a person who normally doesnt salt food, I was pleasantly surprised at the flavor it added. I dont know how they discovered the perfect amount of salt to use, but they did! We also treated ourselves to strawberry daquiries! Excellent meal, friendly service! Yum!!!!”

“On a recent business trip to the area, I chanced upon a small group of shops in East Geneva Square, a short distance from the hotel that I was staying at. One of the eateries there was this place, Dragon City.\n\nThe place is small, a few tables and chairs, but I opted for a takeout.\n\nThere was no on wall menu, but there were plenty paper menus around so I had a peruse. The menu is pretty extensive, but I was there for a General Tso's Chicken.\n\nHere in the UK we don't get General Tso's. We used to run a takeaway and I have endless friends we run businesses themselves, and I have yet to see this on a menu in the UK.\n\nI've heard so much about it, there is even a documentary on it, so, it immediately went on my order, along with a prawn toast, and a drink. The bill came to a not too shabby sub-$20.\n\nBack at the hotel, the General Tso's chicken came with a boiled rice, and the amount of food there was astounding. Two people would struggle to finish it, and me being one person I absolutely struggled.\n\nI can't quite place the sauce, it's sort of like Kung Po but not. The chicken pieces, of which there were many, were overall pretty good, but with a few there were a bit tough.\n\nThe prawn toast was unlike UK prawn toast, this was a brown brick I want to say? Or more akin to a large nugget. It was so oily and salty, and completely not what I expected. Unfortunately, I couldn't have more than a couple of bites...\n\nIt was a mixed bag really but overall good.\n\nThe young girl on the counter was really friendly and helpful.\n\nDefinitely worth checking out if you're bored of the endless pizza and burgers in the near vicinity.”

“Holy…. This is really good ice cream. It comes with a slightly tall price but 100% worth it. I got the brownie cascade, one scoop on a dipped waffle cone. I was stuffed. Really good chocolate flavor! My wife really liked her strawberry in a regular waffle cone. I will definitely go back, and probably tomorrow lol.”

“We took a drive to Lake Geneva to do a little sightseeing. When we noticed a Gino's East, we knew that was our lunch spot and it would save us a trip into downtown Chicago before flying back home.\n\nThe location is great, it is right across the street from the beautiful Lake Geneva. \n\nThere is a little bit of parking in the hotel parking lot that the restaurant is attached to. Otherwise you need to find street parking. \n\nEveryone has their own opinions of the best Chicago deep dish pizza. We have eaten at Gino's in Chicago and others. Gino's is our favorite. There is something about the sweetness of the sauce and the crust. Just scrumptious.\n\nGino's East at Lake Geneva didn't disappoint. We ordered our pie and decided on an appetizer as the deep dish pizzas take nearly 45 minutes and we were hungry. We chose the artichoke dip and it was very good. Nice crunchy chips and the dip had pieces of artichoke and spinach, you could taste both.\n\nOur pizza finally came out of the oven and it met all of our expectations. Seems basic but many don't know that the deep dish pie's have the crust on the bottom, the fillings of your choice in the middle with the cheese and the sauce is on top. Like I mentioned Gino's sauce has a really nice sweetness to it, and the crust is crunchy and not to thick. It brought back so many memories of our times in Chicago, and reaffirmed why Gino's East is our favorite.\n\nThe service was great and the views beautiful.”
