“Friday Fishfry was amazing. Kim, our waitress/ bartender was very friendly and knowable of the menu and offerings. She started us off with some really excellent muddled Brandy old fashions. Our dinner were the deep-fried haddock baked haddock and deep fried scallops. All very delicious and piping hot.It was close to the end of dinner rush so Kim was able to spend a little time chit chatting with us about the area and that we should come back for the Saturday prime rib sandwich special or Sunday chicken fry deal. I do believe we will be back soon“
“This was our first time at The Outpost. We had just completed a visit to the local state park and wanted lunch. The 3 of us shared a Reuben Flatbread, a CBR Flatbread and sweet potato fries. Food was delicious. So was the dark beer. The service and atmosphere were great. We will be back the next time we are in the area. Highly recommend!!!“
“If you like a relaxed atmosphere, this bar is for you. It truly is a diamond in the rough for menasha. They have darts, a pool table upstairs that is separate from the bar (my favorite part), pull tabs, giant jenga and a very nice outdoor patio. The bartender is great as well.“
“Tried the wings. The wings were excellent (great crunch, tasty sauce), but the service was the real differentiator. As a table of 1 in a moderately busy bar during a weekday, I was expecting mostly self-service, but no need for that. I received no less than 4 timely visits from the bartenders during my visit. “I got there a little too late and they were done with wings but the bartender Nikki was so nice. She turned the fryer back on and made me some of the best wings I've ever had at a bar. I used to cook bar food so that says something. I worked in the service industry for many years. The wings were perfect and the service was outstanding. Nikki is an awesome bartender and she made my night when I thought I was out of luck, but she came though with great food and great service. Thanks Nikki. Please give this lady a raise.“
“I just hosted my company holiday party at the Stone Toad this weekend. Stacy was amazing at helping getting everything set-up ahead of time. The staff the day of the party were amazing, from getting the food out to clearing the tables. The food was delicious and it was so nice having our own bar and area to mingle! I would highly recommend the Stone Toad for anyone planning an event.“

“It's a bar not fine dining. So keep that in mind for those complaining about wait times etc.Enjoyable. Only a few low.tables, the rest are higher tables so beware if you don't like higher stoolsI went when it wasn't busy at all on a Sunday. Good music, loud but enjoyable.Bar was good, we all enjoyed our different drinks.Food was great. Had a pub burger and it was delicious. Got a basket to try the different appetizers and everyone was great. “Bartender was great, food was great, wings way above average as well as service!!!! However Alex was clearly intoxicated and vaping in the bar. When asked by a military veteran patron to stop this behavior she purposely was exhaling her vaping pen multiple times. She could have clearly stepped outside with the door right behind her. Very disrespectful behavior unfortunately. Please respect what our veterans have been through!!!!!!!“
