About 107 State

107 State is a downtown restaurant on State St, near the Capitol Square. The dining atmosphere is rustic and warm with woodwork and stone. The cool jazz music and booths make it easy to converse without much noise. The bread is crunchy and warm, the roasted mushroom crostini is sweet and chewy. The salmon is crunchy outside and moist inside with a flavorful garlic lemon sauce. The shrimp scampi is tasty but heavy on garlic. The Bliss Burger is juicy and the Ziti with Ragu is hearty and tender. The fries are like McDonald's but less salty. The service is friendly and attentive, with tempting dessert options, including Oreo pie from a local bakery and drinks like espresso martinis. The restaurant offers a cozy ambiance and excellent food, making it a great find despite its horrible signage. Customers enjoy a warm, charming atmosphere and well-managed staff who pay close attention to service. The menu features dishes like steak frites, which one guest called one of the top 5 steaks they've ever had, cooked to perfection. The salmon with polenta is also a hit, cooked tender and crispy. The Oklahoma Onion Burger and house-made fries with ketchup are highly recommended for lunch, offering a top burger experience in the city. Recent reviews describe the atmosphere as cozy but elevated, with delicious food and drinks. The cocktail called Secret Garden was especially praised. Guests highlight friendly service, roomy booths, and great food. Some dishes like pesto burrata crostini and ginger beer received mixed reviews, but overall, the experience is positive. The restaurant's shotgun-style layout features a well-appointed bar and long booths that are perfect for close conversation, seating 4-6 comfortably. Visitors enjoy dishes like Mezze Rigatoni with Spring Lamb Ragu and Pecorino, and Orecchiette with Nueskes Roasted Bacon Ragu and braised cabbage, both highly recommended. Overall, 107 State provides a cozy setting with excellent food, friendly service, and a warm, inviting atmosphere that makes it a favorite for date nights and casual dining alike.

We had a wonderful experience and such a lovely evening the first time we spontaneously sat at the bar and had a bite before a show at the Orpheum. The atmosphere is warm, charming and cozy. We were excited to come back tonight. Again we loved sitting at the bar. The service is excellent and the restaurant/bar are very obviously well managed. Staff exhibit a lot of attention to service. We ordered drinks and shared an entree/chicken Marsala. It was good, a little salty and I was...read full review

Dining atmosphere: woodwork, stone, rustic warmth experience. Good food, good price.
Bathroom atmosphere:
Stinky, disgusting, dilapidated, dust filled vent experience.

12/30/23 7:15 reservation: The chicken Marsala was fab, the NY strip was full of gristle, very disappointed in our server who was oblivious to our needs even tho she stood 5 feet away from us chatting with another server. I had to go up to the bar & get another drink and our server watched me with no apology. Compliments to the bartender!!
