Got a latte that was half full, I just love paying for a cup of air.Staff was also super immature and slightly rude. I stood there for quite a while before someone asked if they could help me. And then they were having inappropriate workplace conversations where everyone could hear them.

I’ve been to Michelangelo’s more times than I can count to be honest. Time and time again I love it.Finally writing a review because I decided to have the black bean burger and after one bite I realized I’ve never given this place the 5 stars it deserves. I’ve always felt comfortable here. It’s like a nice little recluse for me and seems to always have the most wonderful atmosphere.Consistently delicious food AND drinks. It seems to attract good people and has kind staff as well.Today I’m also having the espresso miel w/ oat milk. Not only does it smell amazing, it also tastes great.I never do take out from here. Always dine in! The atmosphere and art are a part of it.I cannot rave enough over how much I love this place. It will forever hold a special place in my heart :)Vegetarian options: Plenty of options and substitutes.Dietary restrictions: Lots of vegan and vegetarian options!

Service was quick and ambiance was eclectic. Great location too right in the heart of downtown Madison.

I ordered a large caramel macchiato for $5.50 gave them a $5 tip because I was feeling nice today and they filled the cup up well below half way including with whip cream. Was probably like 4 whole drinks of coffee in there and mostly whip cream. Not worth the money at all.

Walking GPS was weird- we did not need to go indoors to walk across the triangle to enter the coffee house. We made it just before the mid- morning rush. Fast service, good drinks. Some choices younger kids can make. A lot of seating available and space.Kid-friendliness: Variety of food and drink for kids to choose from

Michelangelo's is a great coffee shop if your goal is to get work done. The majority of the dining space is tables and chairs, and most of them have enough space to spread out your books, papers, and laptop. However, outlet space is limited so be sure to charge your devices beforehand. The staff is really friendly, though service can be a little slow. I waited about 15 minutes for my beverage and food item and the shop was only at 1/3 capacity. I got a strawberry, banana, mango smoothie with an orange juice base and it was yummy, albeit a bit expensive (over $7 for the smaller size). I've had their chai in the past and it is fantastic. I highly recommend it. The pumpkin chocolate chip muffin I had today was mediocre. Too dry and crumbly for my taste. I'll probably try a different pastry next time.

The advantage is that the coffee menu is diverse. Sweet drinks may be sweeter than you think. The paintings and interior well capture the characteristics of this cafe. It's a great cafe for homework or gathering. Unless it's almost closed, there are always a lot of people looking for a place to sit. I wish I could clean my desk from time to time.

A long-time fixture on State Street in Madison. They were kind enough to create a special peppermint hot cocoa for our grand-daughter.

Love this place! Very fun menu, I've loved every drink I've tried! Cute little place too with a good amount of seating.

I had gotten the cinnamon French toast latte and it tasted like French toast. Also got bagel sandwich and pumpkin spice roll. Very good lunch, slightly busy at point we went but everyone behind counter was in motion helping people.I was with my child and she sat and I had no chair. Several people offered me a seat. But I knew play I was going to needed some cat in a hat pre play edition. I was watching time pass by and feed child. Vegan options were my favorite back in Vegan days. There again now every so often.
