Discovered this place just walking down the street looking for a place to eat. Signage is horrible but everything else is A++. Great food, cozy atmosphere and fantastic service! Will definitely be going back.
The food was very good and the drinks were very well done. The bartender was friendly and knowledgeable. I recommend you get reservations since walk-in put us at the bar unless we wanted to wait an hour or more for a table.

I like this downtown restaurant. On State St, about a block from the Capitol Square. I loved the dark atmosphere. Cool jazz music playing. Besides not being very loud in there, the booths help make it easy to have a conversation. The rough brick wall also helps to break up any noise.Our server was very friendly and the timing of her check-ins was good.First off, I liked the bread.
