Absolutely wonderful. A delightful surprise in my visit to Madison this time! The food is some of the best middle eastern food I’ve had in a LONG time! Atmosphere is upscale but unpretentious. Food was SO good I almost forgot to take pics!

The food here is delicious. We had pita and hummus for an appetizer plus falafel and shawarma wraps. All great choices! We even had leftovers. The desserts looked delicious too but we were too full to eat more! We'll definitely be back.

Petra is a truly special place. The food is consistently amazing, service is warm and efficient and the place is very cute too. I've been here twice now and both times have been fantastic. Portions range from generous to really abundant, presentation is impeccable and it features a lot of classic Middle Eastern options that are really hard to find in Madison-area.
Friendly, attentive staff. Lots of exquisite options for adults and children. Rarely busy with a nice bakery to grab desert from.

This is a place I have and will always recommend time and time again hands down. Their food is so incredible with amazing prices, they are super courteous and helpful with food diets or allergies, and their customer service is absolutely out of this world. I have come here for years and without fail they put a smile on my face. Tonight we came close to closing as we were near by, we were waiting a few minutes for our food to finish up and the staff brought my daughter a cookie and were so kind. We always get a smile when here and have enjoyed them and their staff for so long! Always a familiar face. Thank you for all you do, know my family and I always appreciate you, your food, and your amazing service!

Petra is truly incredible, one of the best restaurants I’ve ever been to in Madison throughout my time here. We were already planning our next trip back after our appetizer! We got the saj with Arabic cheese as a starter, and it was phenomenal. For lunch, I got the falafel saj wrap and my partner got the lamb arayes. We also each got a small baked good for dessert and my partner enjoyed the coffee. We also took home a large hummus and a big pack of mamoul with dates because we didn’t want our amazing dining experience to end! Everything was seriously incredible, and we are so excited to go back as soon as we can!!
