The Covered Wagon Restaurant offers prompt and friendly service. The food is great, with options like Firehouse Mushroom Swiss, curds, tenders, chicken fried steak, pork chop, giant dumpling, burgers, and Sloppy Joes. Their breakfasts are amazing and all their food is delicious. Burgers are like the good old days. The restaurant is kid-friendly, with toys and a play area, and offers specials, including Friday night fish. Daily specials are excellent, especially the perch basket on Fridays. There is a soup and salad bar which has a tremendous variety of items to choose from. The pie and torte selection is awesome. This family run business offers fantastic food at a price that can't be beat. People are friendly and the service is excellent. It is a nice small town restaurant. Closed on Mondays and Tuesdays.
